Shadow smiled back at her. "I am in no rush to be anywere, not anymore. It is a quiet night here and my night off anyway." he said. He was going to be taking a few days off as head of security and leave all the other troubles to his subordinates. It was abotu time he had taken some time off.

"What? What is this? Shadow...has a night off from working? I don't believe it!" she said in mock astonishment, even clapping a hand to her cheek to finish it off. She laughed lightly and looked out over the lake and sighed, she smiled softly as she watched a large swan swim out onto it. "He's beautiful..." she whispered softly, her green eyes watching the elegant bird.

"Yes I know. I have taken a night off. I think I deserve it don't you?" he said with a smile and a laugh. His atention was drawn to the swan, mainly by the disturbance that he noticed brought on by any living being. "Things of nature are always beautyful."

"Once this war is over, I'll be taking alot of time off. I have let myself become the job, it is about time that I changed that. I need to spend some free time with my friends, before I loose them all." he said as he looked back down to her. "What do you mean by 'Those that are ancient'?" he asked. The statement did confuse him, he couldn't figure out what she ment. He figured that his brain had switched off for a moment and refused to work.

"Right... I thought so but had to clarify that." he said with a grin. He couldn't help but feel slightly stupid at that point. He should have been able to see that from a mile off. "If there is a next life for me that is. You were an angelic being before and I am just... a thing thats creation is srouded in mystery. the only one who knows is the one that I am trying to kill. I may not get a second life, it may just end for me. I hope you are right though, I really do. I may meet them in thier next incarnation though."
