Matachi looked at him from where he was not saying a word just watching

Paradox was silent for a long time. "I should never have entered the temple. I knew the risks of why I should never cross those lines again, but I did. I did fail you, Katherine." Paradox said sadly. He hadn't exactly entered the temple grounds of his own free will, but he would never admit to that. Enough things had happened, without playing the blame game.

"Stop it." She spoke looking back to him. "I promise you haven't, and whats more i promise you won't. Or if you would like to put it that way i failed my people when the castle fell. I failed them when i fleed instead of standing and fighting till i was dead. All of it is my fault, all those who were hurt or died. All you did was hurt Matachi alittle and believe me he can take alittle bit of pain." The last part she said with a slight jokeing smile looking to Matachi.

"No your wrong. I have been.. When i came to power Aiden was my second hand in everything. Later i found out it was all a lie.. then there is Asami." She smirked alittle thinking about it. "I told everything to Asami. Now she is helping Alastor to get rid of me. For the good of the world." She was much to tired now. "The saddness thing about it is there both right. I should exisit.. i shouldn't have that power. No one should. You should both kill me here and now to save everyone from me. To save the world from the chaos that will follow if we kill Alastor." She looked to Paradox. "You fought your demon and not only lived through it but came back to tell me that you failed. Thats not failure no one that goes that far will give up. I dout you will either. I need you to help keep me alive and keep this kingdom in order. I brought you this far because i know that through the times we have to come and the doom we have to face your not going to into it. Your going to keep me going even when i think it is pointless. Both of you are." She leaned back then feeling her power loss threaten her with sleep and then before she knew it she was alseep. ((going to bed))

Paradox woke up first. He simply rose from the ground and gazed over their sleeping forms. He also looked down at the destruction he had caused. The earth here would not grow again, until the end of time. It would take an incredible force such as the gods years to remove the blight he had placed there, not that they would notice it. His unique power wasn't something easily sensed by those lofty figures. "Katherine, you don't know the half of how I have failed you." He said to her sleeping form. "I will return to the castle, what's left of it, and protect it from attack. This feud with the gods is far to dangerous for me." Paradox turned away to make his way to the castle. A mountain of guilt sat on his shoulders now.

Katherine woke not relizeing she had fallen asleep last night she looked down. Matachi's cloak coverd her. That made her smiled slightly she looked over Paradox was gone but he would come back. He hadn't left for good she knew that. Maybe he could over see reconstruction she would like that. She looked up Matachi was in a tree quite asleep.

Katherine turned and smiled brightly seeing him. She stood heading over to Sekain if he wasn't on the horse she would have embraced him. "Thank you, Paradox said you hurt Alastor pretty bad last night."
