"I'm not woried about them hurting me," Fir said flatly as they walked through the forest.

Bright Eyes just watched the seen quietly. Well, except for tugging Eara's sleeve. "I can walk."

Thom was busy writing music in a thin notebook. He seemed engrossed in his work.

Shiori blushed slightly. "You say that now." she chuckled. "I have my moods... It takes me a long time to trust, but since we're here... I'll give you a chance, but you have to fight for it. Keep being persistent like this... Don't let me overthink this, please." she hugged him tightly, closing her eyes. "No matter what I say, I'm ready to settle down... I don't know if I'll remember this dream, Aled-kun." she whispered. "I don't always recall them, but if you do..."

Yuki smiled slightly. "I don't blame you." she sighed softly, before looking to the cameras. "Look, our friends are back..."

Kaguyo smirked also. "He does, don't worry." she whispered. "He hears everything he can. In that case, I hope he sucks a---"
"Kaguyo-sama, Ainsu-sama, please come to the lab." Yuki's voice rang through the intercom. "Emergency!"
Kaguyo took off bolting inside, rushing to help as soon as she could.
"What happened?!!!"

Kazuhiko sighed. "Da, I'll be right back." he kissed his cheek. "I gotta do some Hunter stuff. I'll come back stronger... we can save Okaasan, ok??"
He quickly climbed through a portal before he could protest. "I'll be back in an hour." he promised. "That's all the longer this'll take."

Eara nodded, about to set her down when Kazuhiko appeared.
He seemed a bit upset. "Why'd you cuff him!?" he demanded, sighing deeply.
He moved to the cuffs, examining them cautiously. "Silver..."
Thank goodness, if they were iron he would've had a fit.
"Why is he cuffed??" he demanded again. "He can hold me the entire time! As the Hunter to be, you can have my word that he won't harm even a fly in the village." he crossed his arms. "Not one! How are we supposed to get what Auntie Kit wanted?? Enough walking, let's just get there!" he shook his head. "I don't like waiting if you're going to treat Oniisan like this..."
He started floating next to Bright Eyes, trying not to contain his anger. "My parents are going to explode into a million pieces and take out the palace with them." he muttered darkly. "That demon has to die."
"W...what...??" Eara blinked.
"Watari-kun was dying." he answered. "A drop of blood exploded and sent a piece of metal into him. He looks like Fir now. A drop, out of the how many gallons that runs through Da's veins?"
Eara took a very, very long drag of the cigarette, trying not to get faint.
This was perhaps the worst news she'd heard in a long, long time.
"How...???"
"I don't know." he answered darkly. "I'm going to kill him. My patience is short... I want this to stop. Why can't everyone be nice to eachother?? Everyone's so ******** stupid..."

"You don't like trees." Kazuhiko sighed softly, shaking his head. "Ohhhh Fir... Baakaaaaaa.... Baka baka baka baka baka..."
He looked to Forrest, quietly floating closer to him. "I can heal it completely, and protect it." he offered. "Leave him be. He won't make such an idiotic mistake again, I swear on my life. Has Fir EVER really been accepted here to begin with?" he furrowed his brow. "Because even so, maybe it was a wakeup call for your kind."
But Eara wasn't so harsh. She didn't say a word.
She rubbed Fir's hand with her thumb, lifting another cigarette to his lips. 'Don't worry Fir.' she soothed. 'These people aren't that scary. You're a lot older now...'
She was calming him down with both the words and the cigs, there was definitely very, very little tobacco in them. She was going to keep him well sedated the entire time.
'I'd hate to see how angry they get over gardens.' she thought to him, looking at the tree. She was trying to lighten his mood some. 'Imagine riding a few figure eights through their yards on the bikes, I bet their panties would twist so tight they'd cut circulation off from their junk and it would blacken and fall off!'
She offered him a soft, secret smile.

Kazuhiko sighed. "Sometimes the rules have to be broken. You guys were getting too relaxed. A demon's going to come to this realm, and he's going to devastate it." he began to prophesize, still deeply tired. Healing Watari every hour at least didn't help either. "Your people still aren't prepared for the sort of damage he'll bring. I hope you're aware of that. He'll burn the tree down."
He approached the tree quietly, gingerly tracing the scar.
It was starting to heal.
"Mum came back to life many, many times, but she brought me into the world after... Was it a thousand-three?" he thought to himself. "Da came back... but without them... Without these people, nothing but bad would come to these worlds. Everything happens for a reason. Gomen nasai, Oniisan, but actions do have consequences.... Can you say you at least learned from them?"
He just needed to know that, but all the while he was floating up the trunk of the tree, slowly healing it.
A stronger Korred village meant a stronger defense when the time finally came.

Well, Fir may have not smoked because he had shackles, but Eara had a hand free now that Bright Eyes was walking.
Her empathy knew he was craving, and her common sense said it was better to keep feeding them to him.
She lifted the cigarette to his lips every time, right in rhythm with his usual inhalations and habits, ashing it from time to time.
She was a Rat. She had to take good care of the King, after all.

"For what Fir taught us, of course," Maeve said with a laugh.

"Tell that to our high priestess," a new voice said harshly. "She almost loss the use of her arm. And I hope you did not just tell me that a demon has followed you here, endagering innocent lives."

Fir winced and looked back at the voice, who belonged to a tall korred male, dressed in an ornate white robe. He was obviously a priest himself. In fact, the way the other Korreds looked at him made if very clear that he was the leader.

Fir winced.

"Hi Dad."

"I read thoughts... wants..." Aled replied honestly. "Dreams are like thoughts. I just use my ki to project myself into the dreams of another. As for what else I can do... well... Not much, I fear. Most of my power was taken when Po-ar-kun was born."

Nodding, Po-ar looked to Ainsu and Kaguyo. "Apparently Konton put something in my blood that, in 24 hours, is going to explode. Watari-kun and Yuki-san were running tests on my blood, a time dilation field I think is what Watari-kun used... when the containment pod exploded. Watari-kun took most of the blast.... I honestly think he wouldn't survive. Both of his lungs and hear have been damaged."

"What'd he teach you." Itachi pressed with a smile.

"Is that how you saw my dreams?" Aled asked quietly, wanting to know the truth. "Did you hypnotize me into showing you what you sought?"

It took some time before Hapushi replied, "Kaguyo-san, what's wrong?"
All she had heard was 'emergency'.
Ainsu sighed, "We had a little visit from Aoki while at base." he spoke sadly. "Aoki wants you and Kazuhiko to show up at the base of the mountains. Apparently, he's going to take you both back to Konton."
