Khalid laughed, rubbing the side of his head where Atem had hit him. "Ah, of course. I wasn't sure if that was still going to happen, what with the death screwing with my..." Khalid shrugged, deciding not to drawl on. "Anyway, congratulations. It's okay if I tell Ry-- my husband, right?" He changed the way he addressed Ryou mainly to irk Atem.

Ember chuckled "sure you can tell him."
There was a knock on the door. Ember went and got it and smiled when she saw kawi. Kawi looked a bit sad "Ohh kawi it isent your fault kids say weird things...." "Eh...are you a mind reader?" kawi asked. Ember laughed "No khalids here."

As Ember went to go answer the door, Atem glared at Khalid. "Don't call him that." "What, you mean Ryou?" Khalid asked, looking surprised. He laughed. "He is my husband, Atem. Whether it makes sense to you or not, that's how things are now. He's my husband, and I'm his. Don't tell me you're against gay marriage."

"OH MY GOD!" could be heard for the livingroom as kawi yelled haplly. She squeesed ember tight bouncing like a bunny. It was ovious ember had told her.

Khalid looked towards Atem, smiling sadly. "I know the future already, as you probably are aware of. Should I spoil it for you?" He asked, his eyes glimmering darkly. "The child of Ember's... is a miscarriage. It'll never live." Atem's eyes widened, then narrowed. There was no way Khalid was telling the truth. The b*****d. With a shout, he lunged at Khalid, and the two fell to the ground, knocking over a chair and breaking it. Khalid was laughing; Atem just was trying to punch the living s**t out of him.

Ember had just walked in the kicthen with kawi. Kawi blinked innocently "Umm atem...You know he dosent feel pain right?" kawi said.

Khalid managed to wriggle out from under Atem, still laughing mildly, though he had a nosebleed. "It's far too easy to entice you into a rage, Atem. You need to be the one in anger management, not Ember." He said, looking towards Kawi. "Hey, Kawi, tell me something. Would it be a good idea or a bad one to bring Kira back from the dead?"
