Hmmm...I like the new burning_eyes and emo icons. The others are kind of pointless. Although, they do get funnier once you hover over them and see what they stand for. xd

Yeah... I like the light thing though... It could certainly be used to draw somebodies attention to say... updates on a thread or something. I see all the new things being overused though, my blind eye sees all!! pirate

Hey, I was just reading the Layout Feedback thread, and found an interesting theory. A lot of people think the new emotes are actually mocking the people who are complaining. Ex: burning_eyes = AUGH My Eyes!, a reference to people complaining about all the white. cheese_whine =Would you like some "whine" with that cheese?, dramallama =Drama Llama, wahmbulance =Someone call the "Wambulance" and emo = Emo. All those meanings put together, combined with the fact that they came out after all the negative feedback could suggest the the admins are giving us a big "FU we're not going to listen to your concerns". I hope that's not true. If it is....that's rather disturbing.

Thatd be funny though. but I doubt thats it. Its probably just something they wanted to add. Or it might now even be gaia, many forums use the exact same emotes after all. So that might just be the standard forum format updating...

I know another forum I used to use for a game used the exact same emoticons, in fact the faq was the same generic forum faq too. But my account is aparently no longer valid there to check. but Im pretty sure they're not just gaia emoticons.
