Good, he hadn't been noticed; that'd be akward. Quietly he pulled up a chair next to the bed, putting her presents on a nearby table, and sitting back into the chair. The TV had been turned on before he came in, and one could hear Spongebob very very faintly if you weren't looking at hte screen.
He fixed his glasses and continued to watch the girl; what was it about her that entrigued him so much? Probably the fact that he'd never seen a poor forigen girl all by herself in the dead of winter pulling along a wagon. It was all really bizzare if you thought about it....
His eye suddenly catching the papers on teh doctor desk in the room, he got up quietly and went over to them, glancing at only the top one at the top of the page, which also had little doctor notes on it:
Name: Miki Takura (doesn't like last name for some reason)
Status: Very weak. (How is she still alive?!)
Condition: Weak bladder system; victim of recent pestide issue.
Curving spine; preventable.
Pale in teh skin, tired.
Diet: VERY VERY BAD! Not her fault though.
Emotional state: not too good.
"Miki......so that's your name, eh?" he mumbed to himself as he sat back down in the chair. "Wish I could do more to help you, but at least you're getting treatment now. You're still thin as a stick...."

((Okay, so Miki's computer crashed! That's okay. She has GOOD EXCUSE! That and that boy is so funny, he thinks he's cunning. How cute!))
Yuki sighed. "I should probably go and check on Miki, but then again, she's probably still sleeping."
She looked up at the clock it read 11:58 PM. "I'll check up on her in about a half hour. Maybe she'll be awake by then.

The blond haired child began to wonder who brought Miki here; he'd yet to actually see her new caretakers. Perhaps her visitors were on a different floor? Oh dear, what horrible luck if more than one person got sick at once for one person!
As he heard the voices across the hall, for a moment he quickly thought of 5 different places to hide, but upon the voice saying he had 30 minutes, he felt a bit of relief, although now he felt like a Dominos worker.
Of course, he wasn't sure what to do now; he hadn't really planned on getting this far, so his mind was running a bit blank. To work on the time, he turned the TV up just a bit, so it was audioable to both (in case she woke up; it'd be more natural to hear something in the background and freak her out less). Sitting now on the end of the bed, sort of next to her, he spent a few moments making sure the girl was warm and comfortable, before turning his gaze to the cartoon.
He wondered what the boys back at the clubhouse would think if they could see him now; true, he wasn't much of a tough guy to begin with, but this was a quite low for their standards!

((Ok, Ok. I've been busy the past few days. I'll try to make at least a short post before I get dragged somewhere >.> And so the huge post re emerges...))
Zero was a bit confused. Miki? Was that why Ciel was coming to the hospital? "Oh, I should properly introduce myself" he began "I'm--"
There was a loud knock and the door opened.
"So how's our patient doing?" The doctor asked cheerfully. "I see she's awake now"
Zero--cut short mid-sentence-- closed his mouth. 'I guess I'll introduce myself later...' he thought glumly. He hated being interrupted.
"I'm sorry for the intrusion" another voice said "We'll be done in a bit!" Nurse Denise told everyone. She walked to the bed with a bright green clipboard and glanced down at it.
"It's nice to finally get to talk to you. Ciel's such a pretty name!"
"Thank...you?" Ciel said nervously. Denise's perkiness would take some getting used to...The doctor laughed at Ciel’s uneasy look and pulled on a pair of clean white gloves.
"Now, now Denise. You’re supposed to make patients feel better. Not scare them." He joked, looking at Ciel.
“How are you feeling? Any pain?”
Ciel shook her head. “Not really, doctor” she answered.
“Ah, good. Although I see that your voice sounds a bit strained. We’ll give you something for that, alright?” He went to the bed and checked her heartbeat and breathing.
“All seems normal…” He took the clipboard from Denise and wrote down a few notes. “The rest is up to you Denise” He nodded and left.
Denise spoke: “Do you recall why you’re here?" She was serious now and the perkiness had dissipated.
Ciel shook her head “All I remember is walking up the sidewalk. Then my head started hurting. That’s all I remember…”
Denise‘s voice was soft, as if she was talking to a small child.
“Well, I’ll tell you what happened: You had a small episode and passed out in the street. This young man— Zero -- carried you all the way to the hospital."
Denise walked toward the door, "make sure you get some rest.” She told Ciel. “We’re going to be keeping her for the night her body is still extremely weak.” She turned. “I’m sure Ciel wouldn’t like to be alone…we could arrange for you to stay the night here. Would you like that?” She asked.
((Can they do that in hospitals? o.O))

((Lol, someone send me a virtual pizza with extra cheese and olives! and yes they can do that in hospitals so long as they're not in some critical condition that they may have like a sezure(sp?) or something like that. Like if they're there for observation or rest from something like giving birth or just getting out of a sergery(sp?) or something.))
Yuki sighed. "I'm gonna go check on Miki right now then." she said getting up and walking over to Miki's room. First thing she noticed was a small blond boy sitting on the end of her bed. "Hey, I know you! Ugh, what was your name. You and your mom came to my cafe about two months ago. Yeah, and I remember you ordered the double chocolate cake," she established.

"OK, Yuki" Ciel replied as Yuki slipped out the room. Just Zero and Rina were left in the room. The silence was deafening...
Zero walked up and smiled, "I guess I can introduce my self properly now. I'm Zero Ichimaru." He sat in the seat near the bed, then frowned "You don't mind, do you?" Ciel shook her head. "I'm Ciel..." She stopped. 'I can't tell anyone my last name...' she thought. She smiled "Thank you for helping me. I owe you, don't I?" She laughed weakly, then began coughing.
Zero flinched a bit and said quickly "I'll get you some water" Ciel nodded and he left.

The boy was about to think of getting the girl water, so he'd have a chance to back out of hte room for a few minutes, when he heard a voice behind him, talking to him. Jumping, he noticed that the woman DID seem familiary, but was slightly mortified for a moment when she said she recgonized him (maybe it was her house the gang teepeed last week....), but was inwardly relieved to hear that it was just at a cafe. Oh, this was the one who ran the cafe near his house! That made sense.
"A-and a delicious double chocolate cake it was." he responded sort of nervously, his eyes shifting about a tad. At least it wasn't for any gang reasons, and therefore he wasn't tied to them, so why was he nervous? She had amazing memory too..........
"Ah, I'm Benny. Yeah, it was my mom's birthday a couple months ago, and we went at your place to eat out in celebration, I think." he answered her question, fixing his glasses a bit.

Yuki giggled. "I'm assuming that you saw Miki on her way to my house? she asked with a smile, but then she noticed something. "I'm also assuming your mother doesn't know you're here," she stated rather than asked.

"D***it, where is she?! How hard is it to find a child?!" the figure said irritably, starting to throw the newspapers wildly about him in irritation. By the time he had learned of her run-off from the orphanage, it was too late to figure out where she went. He needed to find her first, to do his job of who he was. He looked to the screen and sighed; still blank and another "Sorry, no matches were found to your search" on the screen. He sighed, and tried again.
"Yeah; that's it." Benny said, hoping she'd just leave it at that; he doubted her running from his friends would make a good first impression, even though he didn't always agree with him. Guilty by association, in other words. But at the second question, he rubbed the back of his head and sighed. "Yeah, that too. I couldn't just let it drop though; she had run off before I could try and help her. And with a blizzard out, well, not many people actually survive it, especially if they have no shelter. I take it she wondered onto your place?" he asked.
Upon the bed, Miki stirred a bit and her eyes were finally opening up. They blinked a few times and she rubbed them with a yawn, very dazed, and she noticed first the woman by the door; Ms. Yuki. She mumbled some sort of sleepy Japanese greeting, but then sat up, finally in eye view of the other guest. But upon seeing the boy, she just kinda stared for a moment, and he did the same. This lasted til her memory clicked back, she didn't relax much, but still looking like she was on coffee.
"I-I remember you, from park, correct?" she asked curiously, smoothing out the blankets about her. She was feeling considerably better, so her enegery and curiousity was back at least in a bit of force.
The boy had also stared back as she finally woke up; so she did know some English, but it was very broken up. He could feel color come to his face as she actually recgonized him.
"Y-y-yeah, that's right." he said; he didn't really expect her to wake before he left, so again he didnt plan far enough ahead. "Glad to see you're ok; feeling better?"
Miki shrugged a neutral shrug; she wasnt' sure whether to trust him or not, after that one boy had the nerve to call her mother a stripper and the others to poke fun at her accent. They were all in some sort of gang, and they usually stuck together. He must have sensed this, for he looked almost crestfallen. "M-more or less, I suppose." she said, adding words to her action.
Wait, if the others weren't here, why was he?

Zero came back and handed Ciel a bottle of water which she gulped down gratefully. "I hadn't realized how thirsty I was" She said she sheepishly. "Thank you"
Zero nodded, then pointed to Rina. "Does she always sleep?" He asked with a smile. "Or is it just hospitals that make her tired?"
"I wouldn't really know, I just met her today"
'It was supposed to be a joke' Zero thought. But the wondering look on Ciel's face made it clear she didn't know that. He sighed. It seemed Ciel had about as much sense of humor as a cherry pie.
He wondered when Yuki would be back.
((Excuse the simile...I really want cherry pie x.x...Stupid song D=))
