Cassie gave the shark boy a sheepish grin. From the look on his face, this had probably not been what he had been expecting... She listened to his request concernedly and nodded.
"All right then," she said in a nice tone. "Since you're ahead... not that I wouldn't help those who weren't!" she interjected hastily. "Okay. Anyway, the first seal is the Rat seal," she said, forming it quickly and easily as you would expect an experienced ninja to.
"Remember in this seal that it's the right hand that's on top of the left hand," she told Hiru. "Some ninja get it wrong and the jutsu backfires, which isn't pretty at all."
[Hmm I don't really know what you would roll if you're copying my gestures >_> It would still be int mod right? I dunno.. it wouldn't make much of a difference.. Maybe it'll give you a +3 for every one then XD
Still same formula for rolling, but all your negatives are negated!
But, you have to wait for Cassie to show you the next seal before proceeding.]

"Thank you Cassie-sensei!", cheerfully answered Hiru.
He watched her carefully as she did the rat seal. He watched he hands as carefully as he could. He even tried visualizing a rat for the good of the exercise.
"Okay right hand on left hand, bring them together like this...", Hiru actually couldn't just think these things, he was talking pretty loud. It seemed none of the other kids had been disturbed by this yet though.
He did a few more "practice swings" and then finally gave it a shot!

As Hiru finished his seal a little drop of water formed from the humidity in the air and fell into Cassie-sensei's glass.
"It worked!", Hiru shouted. "This is sooo cool!", he added.
Overly exicted, Hiru grabbed the flyer to see the next hand gesture before Cassie could even say anything. The first sign he randomly fell on was the ox.
"Ok, it kinda looks like this...", he said, turning the book in front of him to see it in all angles.
Hiru barely practiced and went on with the seal.

Hiru suddenly started uncontrollably squirting a small constant stream of water through his mouth straight into Cassie-sensei's glass for about three seconds. He kinda splashed on the sides as he tried to start talking before the water stopped flowing.
"*Blub blub* cool! I saw my dad do this once but he kinda flooded the whole field behind our house... maybe one day I'll be able to do this too! Do you think so Cassie-sensei?", he asked.
"Oh and sorry about your water..." he just then realized.
Hiru still couldn't wait. Like all kids his age, his perseverance seems limitless... as long as he is sucessful that is.
"Okay, this one then!", Hiru said after picking up the flyer and pointing the boar. This time he was a bit cocky though. Confident after his two consecutive successes he barely looked at it and tried the hand gesture right away.

And this time, yet again, Hiru's eagerness backfired. His hands were thrown apart by a small explosion of water that got him completely wet and threw him right to the ground, over the empty desk behind him.
Hiru took a while to get back up, his hair was completely soaked. He timidly walked back to sensei's desk, hoping no one would have noticed. Only Hiru could even hope for something this miraculous...
"What did I do wrong sensei...", Hiru finally asked.

Batosai turned his attention over at Cassie as he didn't really notice her there. He slowly nodded as he was given his instructions and made his way to grab a textbook. Once he had a textbook, he walked over to an empty desk and sat down. He opened the book right on the first page and began to read.

Batosai read about the use of chakra and of it's importance in performing jutsus. As he read, he learned about the ninjas pocessing a chakra circulatory system the keeps the chakra flowing throughtout the body. As he continued to read of he learned about the 8 gates that are a part of that chakra's circulatory system meant as certain points in that system to regulate the chakra's flow. "These books have more details in them the the scrolls back in the temple." Batosai thought as he was amazed of the information these textbooks pocess all together than paper scrolls. He took a couple flips through the pages until it came to the subject of elements affinities.

Kiketsu watched carefully as the fish boy and teacher began to converse. Soon she was also doing the same hand signs It was apparent that he asked her for help. "Already needing aid." the boy thought with a grunt. He didn't want any help and preferred to get the hand seals on his own. He turned away from the two and placed the book open on the desk in front of him. It would be his victory alone to get these hand signs down. After all no one would be holding his hand in battle.
His fingers intertwined to make the seal of the rat. He looked down at his fingers first then back at the picture in the book. He had done it backwards. A disgruntled sound emerged from his mouth. Especially when he heard his aquatic peer cheering because he got the first seal. Maybe aid would be the way to go. Unfortunately Kiketsu would not see that.

Batosai read through the pages as fast as he could. He wished to gain as much knowledge as he possibly could. He was reading so fast, that it was a miracle that he was even understanding the texted letters through the pages.
Batosia started to understand that there was a variety of different jutsus. These different varieties are put into categories called Affinities, which are the four main elements. The elements were Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind. But unlike these affinities there could be even more unique styles of jutsu. Feeling like he fully understanded the concept, he flipped the page over to Chapter 2: Basic Jutsus!

Batosai read throught the chapter as fast as he could, so he can catch up with Hiru and Kiketsu. As he read the chapter, he began confused. Some of this was making any sense to him. Feelign utterly lost, Batosai turned back to the last chapter to see if he was missing anything. He read the last chapter again as he searched for any useful information for the next chapter. Seeing that he didnt read anything new, he just tried to read the chapter and attempt to make sense of it.

"It worked this is so cool!" the shark youth stated with a splashing of water. The lone child's green eyes peered over his shoulder just enough to see the commotion. That kid had already passed the first hand seal and had created some water already. His mind took in the site quickly before turning back around. He wasn't going to let that hyper fish of a child out match him again. Aid from the teacher or not.
His eyes glared at the rat seal trying to burn the image into his mind. "To fingers up. The next two down..." his mind contemplated the actions, then his clawed fingers initiated the movements as quick as possible. This time Kiketsu was able to get the sign right with perfect accuracy.
There was no time to cheer though. He had eleven more to go through. This was only the beginning.

His fingers turned to the next page, and eyes began to scan the next symbol. It was Ushi, the ox of associated with December and the second of the twelve. Kiketsu looked at the sign and could see it might cause some trouble. He flattened out is first palm and tried to enclose his the fingers from his other hand. Instead all it did was make the boy p***k his hand with his nail.
He did it two more tries with the same results. His expression did not change from it's expressionless mask. Irritation was slowly trickling within his mind though. If he couldn't get the second one right, just how would he fair with the more difficult hand seals? Well that would have to be taken care of once that bridge was crossed.
Again the ivory hands came together.

Again his fingers and palms came together and once again the nails from his hand pricked his skin. Stopping for a minute the boy watched carefully at his hands. Why was something so simple becoming so aggravating? Then the noise of the other student talking about how his dad flooded his backyard came to his ears. Just why this guy so far ahead already? Getting flustered had to remain calm and complacent. Emotions would be nothing, but a hindrance. Instead the serpent like youth exhaled a breath and stared at his fingers again. Maybe if he widened his hand out a bit more. It was worth the try.
Surely enough that was the answer. His fingers came together perfectly like a key into a key hole. His hands were an exact duplicate from those in the book. Now it was onto the third seal.

The next sign was tora, the tiger seal. The one most close to fire. Maybe it was because of the lack of interest already that Kiketsu was already setting himself up for defeat. Each time he put his fingers together, he kept forgetting to interlock his back fingers. When he did interlock those, his thumb wasn't in the right place. It seemed there was always something wrong when the serpent youth tried this seal. Looking back at the book he tried to think of the time's when his sister was fiddling with this hand seal.
