((My bro bled for like 5 days, no exaggeration! sweatdrop )) Haucon sat down beside Leila, still holding her hand and examining it. He could see now how the razor like scythe had severed her flesh in a clean cut. "You'll need stitches." he remarked more to himself than anyone. He was deep in thought.

Holly immediately moved beside of Dream, ready to bolster him if it was necessary. The whole time, her face continued to hold its serene smile, warm and reassuring.

Leila shook her head a bit slowly, her eyes opening again to look at him. "Dream and the angels can help me, I'm sure...he was able to take the pain away earlier, remember?" She adjusted herself a bit so that her head was now resting on his leg; it had seemed like forever since she had been near him like this, taking in his smell, her eyes fixed on the radiant colour of his wings. She wanted to touch them again...
"I'm sorry..." she said again, looking up at him.

Haucon's hand automatically reached down to stroke Leila's hair. "No. I'm sorry." he said after a second. "There was nothing I could do, to help you, to stop you, to save you..." he trailed off, and as an after thought, grabbed a cigarette from his pocket. After lighting it, his left hand returned to Leila's head, while his right snapped fire on and off, as he thought. "Is there anything I could do?" he began. "If this should happen again? I hate to feel so useless...Like before," he dropped his voice to a whisper, "When you told me you had to go, and...and..." he shook his head. "What can I do Leila? Honestly, can't I make it stop somehow, ever?" he asked still whispering.

"...you can love me and never let me go ever again...." Leila whispered. "You are not to blame for what I am, and you did help me back there. You were the one thing that stopped me where nothing else could. You showed me what I love and care about, and that's all I need..." Her hand slipped out of his and took the cigarette from his lips before pulling his head down with the other hand until they were kissing. The taste of the smoke on his breath was new, a harsh sting of a taste, but she didn't care. It was a part of Haucon she had accepted.

Miu moved to dream's other side, also ready to help. She glanced over at Haucon and Leila. "Dream, after we heal Liam, do you think you can heal Leila too? She's not looking to well" she said, softly, then turned her attention back to Liam.

"I'd do that this very moment, but currently Leila can wait a while, whereas Liam cannot. But yeah, Leila's next in the healing proccess." He nodded to Miu, glancing over to Leila. She was right, she wasn't looking too good. But Liam was in more danger at the time. He turned back to Liam, awaiting a response.

Haucon was surprised when Leila pulled the cigarette from his hand, he was about to say "Hey, you don't smoke..." but something much better was occupying his time. He smiled into the kiss, returning it with as much energy as it was dealt. Breaking for air, he smiled at her, pulling her close. "I don't ever intend to let you go." he said. "If I do find a way back to the Sacred Realm, I'd be honored if you'd come with me." he said somewhat shyly.

"It would all depend on whether the rest of your kind allow me in with you, Haucon...but there is no possibility of me denying you that." Leila's hand reached up and replaced the cigarette between his lips as she watched Dream and the others out of the corner of her eye. Liam seemed to be willing to cooperate, to have whatever it was out of him. She smiled inwardly, glad that he could at least have some help for his actions. What Leila was could never be removed; she would just have to learn to control her temper, that's all. And with Haucon's help, she had a better chance of doing so...
"Tell me....what makes my dear Haucon angry? Besides me getting hurt, that is," Leila asked out of curiousity, running a hand through his hair, and to pass time while Liam was being taken care of.

Holly heard the two as they paused for Liam. She vaguely felt a fleeting desire to be able to find someone who would love her like that, but she quickly squashed it. Liam's future was far more important than one of her puny, selfish desires at the moment.

Violet had just fallen into another steep dive, when she pulled up sharply. Something big was happening, and it didn't take a genius to guess who was causing it. In her head it was almost like a radar, the good, light being generating sending out waves towards her. Shuddering she silently flew to a building near the others, and watched silently from behind them. Her large, black wings were folded flat back against her back so it would have been difficult to tell she wasn't human from a distance.

Haucon sighed and sat back a bit. "Angry, huh?" he said pensively. "Well, let's see: Cowards, being useless or helpless, being restrained, having no control over what's going on..." he paused for some more thought. "People who abuse power...I don't know can't really think of anything more...I have a huge list of things that annoy me, but angry...not so much." he said finishing.

A smirk tugged at the corners of Leila's lips. "Honestly, Haucon. Who can say that they have any control over what's going on in their life? Lack of control means it's happening for a reason, don't you think?" Looking up at him, she had noticed the familiar form of Violet perch atop a building, the sky now brightening to the start of a new day.
"Violet is watching us," she whispered softly, retaining the smile so that their onlooker may be none the wiser.

Liam did his best to not cower away from the energy as he did moments before, and watched as the conversations all paused to wait for his answer. He nodded a final response to Dream and waited. But, he too, saw Violet land on the distant roof, and looked to Dream with a bit of impatience. "Please make it fast," he said with concern.
