*rant time!* One of my major pet peeves is an unusual one. Its people who like to use Apathy! and certain people who use apathy really, TICK ME OFF! The certain people I am referring to are friends. Now then, apathy is not a very common word. It basically means, not caring. Now, example. I have a friend, who, likes to use apathy when in a situation I can best determine as for when (Without telling me) I am bothering this person. Now then, they will bluntly put out that I am not being interesting, I say nothing interesting, and trying to redeem myself, said friend result to the mood that (Or in other situations that succeed in shutting me up) is, APATHY! Not caring. using works like 'Right' or 'Ahuh' which tick me off almost as much as the mood (heh.. oxymoron.) apathy.
That in itself ticks me off. But what infuriates about me is, if that is (and said friend just recently stated them self) Their goal when as a last defense, this friend is going to be a very lonely person in life. And when the person has chased away all good friends (good friends as in people who actually care, and will take one HELL of a LONG lasting beating to get them away), and hits a point of realization of what they had done, and it really sinks in and will pain them for their own irreversible actions. That pain that would be felt when realization sinks in at being alone, and at said person's own willingness REALLY grinds my gears.
