"Inferno! Come out and fight!" Jenna cried as she tossed the pokeball high into the air. With the customary flash of white light the growlithe appeared before her anxious to prove himself and dive headfirst into battle.
"Use Roar! Get rid of this pesky bug!" Jenna commanded. Inferno opened his mouth wide issuing forth a mighty sound that shook loose leaves from the trees and caused the metapod to stare in fright then bound away through the bushes. The growlithe, seeing his prey escaping, gave chase and darted after it snarling and snapping. Jenna was rooted to the spot momentarily dumbfounded then found her voice.
"INFERNO! COME BACK HERE!" she shouted at the top of her lungs then grabbed her walking stick from the ground and took off after the runaway fire-puppy. Three strides into the bushes at a dead run she tripped over him sitting obediently and sent them both sprawling into the dirt.
"Ooowwwww..." Jenna groaned as she rolled onto her back and spat out a mouthful of leaves. Inferno rose to his feet and shook all over sending little bits of dirt and leaves everywhere. He gave her a puppy grin and wagged his tail.

Keegan browsed around the shop, noting that Dante had vanished. "Has he found something already?" he mumbled, sitting down on a bench to wait. "How am I supposed to get into the gym?" he asked nobody in particular, although Artemis was happy to reply, giving a sharp trill. She flew up a ways, pulling a rather pretty, scarlet top down from the shelf above him. It landed on his head, and the boy let out a muffled cry. "Oh no, I'm not dressing up like a girl just so I can go in there with Dante and watch a gym match. Well, the girls too," he chuckled. The Pokemon shook her head, and let out another sharp cry, diving down and landing a sharp peck to the top of his head. "OW! What did you do that for?!" he yelled, half question, half exclamation.

Keegan's yell distracted Dante from his new pokemon who was currently licking his face with her big pink tounge. Looking around for a moment he spotted Keegan argueing with his pokemon. Sighing he motioned for Kenny to follow him as he went over to the other boy. "You do know that shouting is generally not something people like in there stores right?" He teased slightly reminding himself to stay in a girl tone of voice. In his arms the new Mudkip stared at the pair in front of her, she glared slighlty at Keegan, he was a boy after all, but she seemed happy to see the cute Tailow on his head. Kenny just came up behind Dante shoulder and laying ghostly hands on it he peaked over to watch the scene unfold.

Kasiya reached over and took a reluctant Allie from Mitu's arms. "Um, Absol," she said, after a moment or two of thought. "I saw one at the Viridian Gym, during another encounter with Team Rocket," she went on, knowing full well that she could tell Mitsu. "Giovanni had one, and it was just so... I dunno... sleek and powerful. I'd love to own a Pokemon like that." Allegra made herself comfortable, content to have a quick catnap in her new trainer's arms. They'd only just met hours ago, but already the Skitty felt worlds safer with this girl. "Fang will come back when he's ready," Kasiya told the psychic Pokemon reassuringly. "It seems he's more like me than I realize. Sometimes sulking in corner is the only way to make one feel better about themself."

Keegan pulled the red garment from his face, and stared in a mixture of surprise and awe. "D-Dante?" he asked, his gaze tracing 'her' figure, and resting on the newly hatched Mudkip in Dante's arms. "Oh the egg-" he was cut off as another painful peck attack hit its mark. "Knock it off!" he yelled, waving the flashy red shirt above his head to shoo the pesky bird from his head. The Taillow gave an annoyed chirp and landed on a nearby rack, and began to scratch and groom herself. Keegan stood up, rubbing the two now very sore spots, and checking his fingers for blood. "Geez, when something hurts that bad, it should at least bleed a little," he moaned, turning his attention back to Dante. "A Mudkip," he said finally, having missed the glare he received from the newborn. "Cute. And you... pull that off... ridiculously well," he said, doing his best to keep himself a normal colour.

"Dark type, powerful, and quick," Mitsu said absently. "I've seen some of those challege Tate and Liza back home. Don't they normally live around..." Fortree. "Fortree, to look for one, assuming that Fang returns sometime soon. He really didn't seem that upset." Haku seemed to have exhausted himself with his short play with Allegra. Mitsu held up his Pokeball, recalling him for a short rest. Her hand paused over Nightmare's Pokeball, remembering shortly after that it wasn't Ivy. She moved her hand to her side casting a short glance in the general direction of the mountain.

Kasiya glanced around to see where Digger had got to. The Sandslash was no more than twenty feet away, scuffing the dirt with his hind claws. Kasiya smiled at the ground-type, glad to know that she'd saved two Pokemon from nasty trainers. She stroked the sleeping Skitty's velvety fur, and sighed. "I don't really want to go back to Fortree anytime soon, but a dark type would help me overcome Sabrina's gym for sure...." she trailed off, suddenly realizing what she'd just said. "Oh, Sabrina," she said, looking at the ground. "Mitsu, did you hear what happened? Sabrina's...." she couldn't bring herself to say the word.

Picking at the color of the vest like shirt he frowned slightly. "You think so?" He sighed. "Sometimes I really hate the fact that I inherited my moms bone structure... Oh well not much I can do abou that. Can you hold her for a moment, I need to pay." He said handing off the newly hatched Mudkip to Keegan with out waiting for him to say yes and made his way to the counter with Kenny floating behind him. Back in Keegan's arms the baby Mudkip glared up at the boy who was holding her ready to strike at the person if they did something to suspicious.

Keegan watched Dante run off, only now realizing how short that skirt actually was. "Hey, have a little modesty, would you?" he called after the retreating boy, and looked down at the little Pokemon in his arms. "Well, hello there," he said, now catching the death-glare she was giving him. "Don't worry about me, I won't hurt you," he said, keeping his tone neutral. "You just stay right there," he said, passing an angry glare of his own at the offending Taillow, who was hopping along the rack towards him, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "What's the big idea, pecking me on the head like that? It hurt!" Not looking the slightest bit sorry, the cheeky Taillow turned her back on the boy, now shaking her tail feathers at him. "Showoff," he sighed, shaking his head as he pulled out her Pokeball and recalled her. "So what do you think, little one? Do I have what it takes to pull off dressing like a girl too?" he chuckled slightly, sitting back down on the bench while they waited for Dante to return.

"No... What happened?"Mitsu asked hesitantly not too sure if she wanted to know. She attempted to brace herself for the worst. Karri turned her head looking at Kasiya with her soft ruby colored eyes.

((Hoho, is Keegan going to join the party?)) A bright blush appeared on Dante's face at Keegan's comment and he tried his best to pull his skirt down a bit more. Embarissed the whole time he quickly paid for his things befor thanking the lady and rushing out of the store the blush just starting to fade. "Umm... Thanks for coming in with me to do that." Dante said embarrisedly as he sat down on the bench that Keegan was sitting on fiddling with the edge of his skirt a bit doing his best to get used to the new feel for now. "Oh and thank you for watching my new pokemon for me." He said reaching over and pulling the Mudkip back onto his lap, the baby pokemon looked much happier at this and sat smuggly in his lap.

((Hey Melph could you post as Violet once more for me? Then I can start my sneaky, covert Rocket opperation ninja ))
Kasiya fidgeted around uncomfortably, trying to think of the way to word it. "Sabrina was murdered by a Rocket member," she said, swallowing the lump in her throat. "She d-died saving Nina's life." Kasiya went on to explain the darkness and rage that had consumed their good friend, and how hard it had been to bring her back to the light. "I don't know what's gonna happen now," she said, surprised at herself, mostly because she didn't shed a single tear. Digger made his way over to his trainer, and looked up at her. He didn't want to see her sad, it just didn't suit her.
"Slash," he said, putting a claw gently on her leg.
"Thanks Digger," the girl said simply.

"She doesn't like me," Keegan pointed at the Mudkip, almost like a pouting child. "Eh, it's no problem," he said, checking the egg again. He opened his backpack and placed the case inside, on the top. There was just enough room, and he sighed, glad to have the awkward package stowed away. "You know, I was thinking," he mumbled, feeling the embarrassment building up inside him. "If you don't wanna have to go through... that alone," he said, motioning towards Dante's fairly skimpy skirt, "I could... you know..." he trailed off, now sure that the colour of his face matched that of his hair.

Something inside Mitsu cracked. It almost looked like she had been frozen in time. After what seemed to be an eternity to her Mitsu spoke, carefully and softly. All she uttered was one word, "No." Small beads of tears began to form in the corner of her eyes. Kasiya's words echoed within her own mind. Mitsu rubbed her arm across her eyes. "That's horrible," Mitsu said even though the statment was redundant. Mitsu took a deep breath and calmed herself down. "Well, should we be on our way?" Mitsu asked not remembering that hadn't planned on going anywhere specifically. Her voice was a bit shaky. She wanted to change the subject, hoping that she wouldn't burst into tears. Karri remained silently taking the news hard, but showing no sign of the great pain she felt for the sisters.

Dante frowned and looked down at the Mudkip in his lap. "Yeah she doesn't like Kenny either... Huh..." He thought about that for a moment only half listening to Keegan talking so it took a few moments for the implications of what he was sudjesting sunk in. "Huh? You mean... OH! No you don't have to if you don't want to! I wont make you!" He said hastily, he didn't want to have Keegan do something he didn't want to, it wasn't often that he made new friends and he had a pretty good idea that you didn't make friends crossdress, though he didn't really know. "I mean I am sure its probably awquard enough to sit next to me in a skirt and all... I dont want to make you any more uncomfertable is all..." He trailed that last part off.
