"Huh? Oh, yeah. I'm fine," Vahn answered, chuckling sheepishly as he straightened up and stepped inside.

Just then, a dark-skinned, dark-haired little coonboy bounded down the stairs, stopping dead in front of Vahn and blinkblinking at the angelcat before he threw himself on him. "Vahn! Where were ya?"

Vahn managed to move enough so he didn't tumble backwards into Kim or the pram, falling on his bum instead. "Hello Rafe," he said, sweatdropping and gently patting the much shorter and smaller anthro on the top of his head. "I was with Kimaris here," he explained, gesturing to the demon. "Now, could you do me a favor and go find my dad?"

Rafe murred happily at the pats then let go of Vahn and sat up, following the angelcat's gesture to Kim. "You're really pretty," he said pleasantly with a big smile then bounced to his feet and took off running again. "I'll be back in a second with Dal!" he called over his shoulder.

Vahn shook his head then slowly got to his feet, dusting himself off. "Before you ask: that's Rafe. He lives here. He acts like that with everyone he's familiar with."



"What's that you're humming?" Aya asked absently, his voice soft. He shifted slightly and opened his eyes, looking up at Kira with obvious affection.

The angel looks at the lamia and shrugs "Most likely a song that Serenity likes.." he states..noticing the affection in his eyes, looking back at him with the same affection.

Kira letting the other snuggle close to him and smiles lightly, continuing to hum the song softly..at the same time relaxing in the hot water.

Aya actually began to fall asleep, lulled by Kira's humming and the pleasant warth of the water. His head lolled on the angel's shoulder and his hair shifted, a few tendrils of it skimming the surface of the spring.



Vahn didn't have a chance to tell Kim that he had done hardly anything because just then Rafe bounced in with a brunette angel in tow that looked young enough to be Vahn's brother instead of his father.

"What's this about, Rafe? Explain again but more slowly," the angel had been saying, falling silent when he stepped into the parlor and spotted Vahn. His blue eyes swept over Kim and the pram holding Amon and a smile twisted the left corner of his mouth. "My my, you must have been busy last night, Vahn."

The angelcat colored then cleared his throat and said, "Dad, this is Kimaris..and his son, Amon-Ra." As he spoke, he gestured to the demon and then down to the baby. "Kim, this is my dad, Dalamar."

"Pleasure," Dal said, lifting a hand in greeting and then using that same hand to shoo Rafe out of the room in one fluid motion.

The little coonboy protested but went easily enough, smiling and waving vigorously at Kim before he was finally ousted.

He glances downwards and noticed that aya had began to fall asleep..he smiles gently to himself and uses a hand to gently move the hair out of the other's face.

Kim looked at the angelic cat and smiled before looking back to his father "well something came up, something serious and I was at the store and your son helped me. I then asked him if he would stay the night with me due to this incident and he said yes and now were here, however the child in the pram is my adoptive son Amon-Ra. Due to the 'incident' I can no longer bare children so I went to see a couple prior to meeting up with your son who was adoptin our one of their children and I was picked as the new guardian on him and got him this more."

Kim said to Vahns father, not really caring if he could guess what the 'incident' was but as for Kim himself, he just didnt want to mention it. It was still hard for him to accept what happend and so he thought that the best way to accept it and move on is by not talking about it and so he did. "Your son has just been the perfect friend through this thats all, he truely is such a sweet guy, you have raised him well" he said to the other, knowing he was probably going to embarass the poor angelic cat more but he couldnt help saying what was true.

Kim was correct in assuming his comments would further fluster Vahn. The poor angel kitty wanted to deny it and say that he hadn't done anything special, only what he had thought was the right thing to do. But he realized that was just as complimentary to himself and decided to keep his mouth shut for the time being.

Dalamar had listened attentively to everything Kim had to say and when the demon finished speaking, he turned to glance at his son, chuckling at the crimson hue of the angelcat's face. "I suppose I have raised him pretty well. I'm glad he could be there for you in your time of need. So what happens now?"

Vahn chose then to speak up. "Well, I came here to pick up some of my clothes to take back with me to Kim's place. I'm going to be staying there."

"Oh? For how long?" Dal asked, just going with the flow. His question was directed at Kim.



Aya's smile brightened as Kira's lips touched the top of his head and he cuddled in closer to the angel, sighing softly. "I love you," he mumbled in his sleep.
