My father has made it rather clear that we're all rather out of luck, as the only way one of us would take his place as the most powerful in the family would be if he were to pass on. Being a family of elemental gods, there's no way for that to happen. Hiyoshi giggled, her mind wandering to the antics her elder brother had a tendency to pull, pathetic attempts to get their father out of the way so he could be the best. It seems like your father holds your abilities very high, then...she smiled, understanding well the odd things men of power did at times.

Marie gave a very un-lady-like snort. "Though I love might father, he might possibly enjoy reigning over his kingdom forever if he were immortal like yours." She then sighed and shook her head, wondering if she'd really prefer such a thing. "And I have no real ablities when it comes to ruling. He just chose me because Divi didn't meet the standards of the people."

Hiyoshi thought on this a long while. She didn't expect to meet anyone like Marie, who knew so much about royal families or was actually part of one. Well, whatever happens, I do hope that you do what you know in your heart is right. she offered, feeling a little selfish as she didn't quite wish to speak of the subject of heirs or thrones or royalty anymore. So, you have a sister, you said? She asked, smiling almost childishly. Does she reside in the Underground as well?

Marie nodded lightly. "I've already made my choice. Father will just have to live with it." When Hiyoshi asked about her sister, Marie looked back to her and nodded again. "Yes, she arrived a little before I did. We honestly look nothing alike, though, except we both enjoy our dresses." She laughed a little knowing full well that Diviana liked outfits that were much more extravigant and showed promise of a night's desire. "She hasn't been out much recently so I don't know if you may have seen her or not."

Ah, this is only my third venture out, so chances are I have not! Hiyoshi purred, brushing her fingertips just barely over the grass. I have a daughter in the Underground who is very fond of large dresses, another who enjoys the more...revealing dresses, and one who is fond of gothic lolita fashions. This is not my typical garb, but I do think I look rather lovely in a kimono! she laughed, shifting her shoulders in a sort of model pose.

Marie laughed lightly. So Hiyoshi had daughters. Though, why not? She was a goddess after all and had probably lived a long life so far. "Are you daughters the only family you have here?" She wished, in some ways, that she had a large family. But she was still young thus haven't started her own family...which got her thinking about how many children Luel would want. She would have to ask the next time she saw him.

Hmn...No, there're sons, a sister, and many nieces and nephews. Hiyoshi giggled, her mind running through those who've come here before and after her arrival with Ashili. Four daughters and five sons have decided to seek out the mortal realm...Some of them still wish to come, others have no interest at all. It saddened her to not see her children so very often, but she did return to her home realm quite frequently. Do you have any children, Marie? She asked, smiling brightly. She wasn't sure how others thought when it came to children and child baring. She was nearly four thousand years old before her first child was born. Many of the children from that period had died very young, unfortunately, and it was a time that she didn't like to think about much.

Marie smiled when hearing about Hiyoshi's family. It made her want a big family of her own but most of her realitives had very few childern if any at all. When asked if she had children of her own, Marie blushed slightly then shook her head. "I want children..some day..but I have none right now. I had never even been intimate with a man until--" She blushed again, her hands moving to cover her cheeks. "I'm not married yet but...yeah. My father doesn't know but that shouldn't matter. He won't be knowing."

Hiyoshi grinned brightly as she looked to Marie. I see...she giggled, knowing far too well about pre-marital interactions. There're things fathers shouldn't and will never know...and those are always the best times in life. She paused a moment then blushed deeply, realizing that that must have made her seem like quite the fiend. That...didn't come out right...she squeaked, giggling inwardly still as she cupped her hands to her cheeks as well now.

Marie blushed lightly but understood Hiyoshi's words quite well. Luel had made her into a woman and now she could finally open up to people or listen to such stories. Her sister now didn't even have to worry about Marie hushing her when she tried giving tips. "They are. And leading such a...shealtered life just makes the 'wrongs' so much...better."

I've always found the 'wrong' side of life much more enticing...Hiyoshi giggled, licking over her upper lip in thought. Flirting with the palace guards was always a personal favorite...They never seemed to be able to pull away from it, and it always got them in trouble...she grinned, almost sadistically. After my real father found me and I left the Elven family, things didn't quite amuse me so. The transition from the Elven family to her real family was rather difficult for Hiyoshi. One should never, ever be subjected to falling in love with their sibling, and that was something she feared she'd never be able to forgive her father for. He should have told her prior to bringing her home who she was related to, and definitely -not- let her figure that out on her own. She shuddered in thought but giggled some, stretching her arms up some to pop her back before moving back to her comfortable position, flipping her hair over her shoulders again. She was curious as to how many times Marie and her fiance had been together, but wasn't sure that'd be a polite thing to ask in this realm.

"Flirting with the palaca guards?" Marie laughed lightly. It sounded very much like something her sister would do and had. She'd never flirted in her life, not even when meeting Luel. She honestly didn't know how. But some of the men in her kingdom had tried it with her. She was always clueless. "Divi did a lot of flirting...though I think our father gave up trying to make her stop. I was in her blood."

My father tried to sway me into changing some of my habits, but he gave up as well. Appearently I'm not one to be swayed! Hiyoshi laughed, resting her back to the tree the two sat under. I do know from the actions my children make, it's very hard to change a person...and for the most, they'll do as they please...she said, nodding some to herself.

Marie tilted her head then nodded a little. If a person had a free spirit, no one could tell them what to do unless love came along. At least, that was what she had noticed. "Sometimes love may sway a person. If not family then intimate."

Hmn...Hai. Intimacy does have a tendency to sway a person...Hiyoshi agreed, knowing it did have a way to make her change her mind about things, even if only temporary.
