"I swear. It was definitly a better string before..." He said, not moving as though he expected the string to do something. He flicked his wrist a few times, but the string just acted like strings do when you flick your wrist. "It was...Anyways, " He continued, pocketing the string. "He was with two others in the city. I followed them for a while, then changed my mind and came back here.

"Hmm, Cross, so she's finally waving a flag of friendship." She chuckled, "I wasn't so sure about her before, she's always been a bit hostile. So what is it that you do, Damien?"

Eulalia Danae 5ilver 5treak Eulalia Danae 5ilver 5treak Blink slipped down the hall to the back room. He knocked on the door quietly. "Ruby!"
"What?" Ruby whispered as she opened the door a couple inches, and peeked out. She held a towell in her hand, and dressed down to a sports bra and a pair of worn jeans,Her hair was up and coated with a fowl smelling black mess, in the process of being dyed. "I overheard RJ talking to you upstairs. How are you doing?" Bobby shook his head, "I can't come with you, Ruby. I'd spend too much time watching your back to watch my own - I'd be a liability. You told me as much, once upon a time. Besides, they're probably hotter to get me right now than you - you didn't shoot an officer in front of a roomfull of people." He smiled at her, a small weak , smile, "I called Arch and left a message for him to call you. I don't trust RJ to do it, not after what she was saying to you upstairs."

Eulalia Danae "Then don't just be standin' around, go off an' hide. I'll be fine, an RJ's a good gal, anyone with my name's got to be, after all." She chuckled, and gave him a wink. "I'm sure if she hasn't called him yet, she will. I'd call him myself but I left my phone when I ran for it." She gave a quick glance to her watch, and sighed, "I gotta rinse this now," She pointed to her head, "when you see me next, might not even recognize me." "Ill be doing more than just hiding, believe me. But you should call Arch." he said, handing her his phone, "Call him now."

Ruby scowled, the demands irritating her stubborn streak. She pushed the phone back, "I don't want to call him. It'll wake him up, an he needs his sleep. B'sides, all the messages might get him wound up over nothin'. I'm fine, nothin' bad's happened, an' nothin bad's gonna happen, cause I'm gonna make sure it doesn't."

Bobby took the phone back and flipped it open. "Then I'll call." He quickly dialed Arch's cell number. "Angel, reach your angel at this number." He handed the phone back to Ruby. "Please keep it with you."

"We're taking some revenge on a short fool who decided to betray us, and hopefully stop him from betraying us any further." She watched the coin move like a cat would watch a ball of string, "you the performing type?"
