I think Abbadon's fine but Kharn could be redone as he doesn't look that good.

Invest in a lovely lovely demon prince Go for lots of infiltrating cultists with icons to summon daemons. If you take two full size units of cultists then your oponent won't be able to kill enough of them before the daemons turn up. Take a squad of Havocs tooled up for destroying tanks and then fill in the gaps with what ever looks pretty. For you Lord, take upgrades that still allow him to infiltrate and have him march in with one unit of cultists. As for a daemon prince, max out his points, if you spend them wisely he will earn them back. Trust me.

My Iron Warriors did very well for me in my first tourni, if you havent put too much into them, go with Iron Warriors, droping 4 heavy supports on the feild is nasty, but with 9 oblits, your opponet wont know what hit em 3nodding

Technically speaking, the lord IS the demon prince. neutral A demon prince is a lord that either takes stature, or sufficient points in demonic gifts. It's possible to give him a buncha crap except stature and have him as an infiltrating demon prince, but the extra stat modifiers of stature are hard to ignore when you can give it wings or something.

See, I gave my Lord about 50 points of Daemon stuff (I think that's the Lord/Prince stepover) and I still call him a lord, moreso because he still I've not given him the stature. I'll only call him a Daemon Prince if I give hmi the stature and model him as such.

-Mykal As far as the rules are concerned, if he has fifty points or more of daaemonic gifts he is a daemon prince and any ability, wargear or weapon that has special rules against daemons (like a farseers ghost helm) will count him as a daemon. Stature is nice, but if you don't give him it he can infiltrate, which combined with daemonic flight means he will be in combat by turn 2. Alternatively, you could take a greater daemon. They are usually cheaper than a daemon prince, have a better stat line and your opponent does need to know where it is until it turns up. Also, greater daemons make amazing icons for summoning.

actually by the letter of the rules the only way someone automaticly becomes a deamon prince is with stature, in the points limit section it says that if he spends over 50pts he MAY become a deamon prince so if you dont want him to be one he doesnt have to
