Merc follows along, looking down the streets at different stores along the way. He finds cities incredibly interesting, and watching people is interesting too. it must be his curious side.

Merc sees something shiny and runs over to look at it. It turns out to be a jewelry stand that attracts him, displaying studded leather collars and bracelets, and belts. He motions to Sethos to come over. "Aren't they pretty?" he asks, his eyes all shiny.

MErc nods and starts trying things on, modelling them. "This makes me wish that I hadn't lost my money.." he says, trying something different on. The shopkeeper, a thouroughly pierced and brightly clad punk rawker, looks at him amusedly.

"No, that's ok." He puts the one he'd just tried on down, and picks up another. "I'm sure the shop will still be here later." he says. He puts on a collar and looks at seth. "What do you think?" he asks, a catlike grin on his face.

Merc takes off the collar and looks at seth. "I used to make these things when I was younger, back home. I did bracelets, collars, belts, all sorts of things. I used to give them away as presents though. I never kept anything."

This catches the shopkeeper's attention. "You can make these?" Merc nods. "That's wonderful! One of my major sellers stopped it's production of all the leather bands and such that I was getting from them and I've been looking for someone to sell to me. Would you like a job doing that?" he asks.

Merc's expression brightens. "That would be great!" he says.

"I have a few shops around the town, I sell punk clothing and accesories, and it's in high demand. Having someone like you on the team would make the profits soar, too." the shopkeeper says, winking.

"I can make clothes too!" Merc sparkles. "I made this outfit, and most of the rest of my wardrobe."

"Then you have to be the man I'm looking for!" The shopkeeper is excited now. "Can you come by my store tomorrow? We can talk about contracts and such then." He hands merc a card, and winks again. "Seeing as you're on a date right now."

Merc blushes, takes the card and nods. "I'll see you tomorrow then." he says.

Merc notices Seth coming back and smiles at him, widely. "Seth! I got a job!" he says, jumping on the other man.

"I'm supposed to come by tomorrow, but we can leave now." he says, walking toward the door. he waves goodbye to the shopkeeper, who's name he still doesn't know, and walks out.
