Tempest put his hand to his wounded cheek, but didn't fight back. He closed his eyes as he let his head fall against the slender prince's chest, for a moment hearing the same heartbeat as Jaryn had. "How can you call that luck, to sacrifice the only thing that meant anything in my life?" he growled quietly. "Don't mock me, Caine. I said I would leave already."

Edit~ Rhodes mewed in that cooing fox noise, his own eyes the exactly the same as Caine's with the honey brown specks that glimmered like an autumn's rustle of leaves before he tugged down on Xander's armsleeve hoping to catch his attention with a giggle "Dwaddy?"

"Shut up! You need to be comforted, and that's the mistake I made from Jaryn so...just bare with me here..," The Prince sighed, still holding the Wind General's head to his slender, yet firm chest almost holding the taller man in a deathgrip as he cautiously let his other hand run across his back soothingly, knowing that he needed still to be careful around the commander because his behaviour was still such a mystery to what would happen next.

Nathen made his way over ot Daemon and restrianed him with the leather straps on the bed and then put his IV back in his wrist "why....does every one think....I'm the bad guy?" he asked tighening up a restriant then noticed Jaysen, "Whoa...what the hell happened to you?" he asked, making his way over to the boy

Alexis pulled Logan into his chest gratefully, somwhere in the back of his mind told him the body was firmilar to him but that didn't matter. He kicked out agaian with his fined legs to go deeper down still. Soon the sea bed came into view and Alexis headed for it determined. The floor was coverd in tall waving stalks of saeweed, thick and strong. Tangled in the sae weed, held down against the current where daek shapes, odd looking at firs but look a little closer and you could see they where bodies all in various stages of decay, some just skeletons. The victems of other Kelpies,the blood of which ran through Alexis's veins.

Occasionaly a flash of a bluish body could be seen or glowings eyes of green or blue but none of the 'others' approched them. Alexis let go of Logan now, uncurling his arms from the mer creature to swim through the sea weed forest, exploring and touching. Then finaly he sat still in the middle of it all. He closed his glowing green eyes and took a breath of sae water through his mouth passing it through his gills. He seemed to be calming rabidly now that the destination had been reached.

"That's what you think, but I'm still holding on until I'm satisfied..," Caine chuckled inwardly, hoping it didn't show on his face as he buried his silvery-blonde head into the General's shoulder. The Prince was abit happy to have seen this side of Tempest, knowing that it was a long time before the man had changed to his heartless counterpart, the one who was always taking care of him as a kid, pointing out his flaws and keeping him safe was what he'd like to see at the moment. "You know..I guess you can..take me as a token of apology..right here."

"X'wander? Ki'y ki'y..," Rhodes giggled innocently, pulling away from the young man's face as he gurgled away at Alistaire, the mischevious behaviour getting the better of him. The cereleaun-hued tail of his wagged happily behind him as those silvery, kitsune ears pricked forward on his cereleaun-highlighted head towards Xander whilst Rhodes nibbled on the front of Xander's blouse.

Tempest found his arms sliding around the kitsune prince's waist without his bidding, the steel walls he kept up to ensure he never betrayed Jaryn's trust in him with a moment's weakness melting in the proximity of his lost lover's twin and the longing of a century of emptiness and loneliness. "Talk like him," he breathed, almost pleading. "Just let me pretend for a moment that Jaryn is here, then I'll let you do whatever you like."

Alexis looked up at Logan and nodded, he took his hand again but was happy to let him lead them back to the surface. The feral exspression from earlier had been replaced by one of numb shock and the glowing of his eyes seemed dimmer again. His lips gormed the words again with noe sound. 'home now, please'
