MHHornfreak Raion I play and march the tenor, I love it. Our theme this year is Chicago (the band) and we get a lot of the melody, along with the trombones but they don't play out. This is only my first year playing, did drums in middle school, biggest mistake ever, and didn't do band my 9th and 10th grade year. I caught onto it really quick. We had a Chicago medley for the NCAA tournament i love playing 25 or 6 to 4. Yeah, we get the melody on that song so it's pretty fun.

Ahaha! I found a recording! The sax quartet was practicing backstage before our spring concert, and these weirdo seniors were going around fooling around, dancing, and taping everything. I'm on 1st alto. My key got stuck towards the end, and the end of the song got cut off, but oh well. biggrin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1ifCTp2h5cI'll post some of my jazz band stuff when I get around to it. Since I have never posted in this guild, I think this is a good place to start. This year I am playing first alto, and maybe some tenor later on.
For the record: I am in a band that marches. We don't have football. I'm a junior. We have new uniforms this year. It is fun. Bla, bla, bla. What else? I am a member of Marching Band Planet, but I haven't been on for almost three months. I should be more social.
There, I checked in. First post for me. Yay. Sax, sax, sax.
