Weapons to use against them:
Assualt Rifle:
Is a good weapon to use against the small parasitic floods when they are in massive numbers. But when theres only a handfull of them, just use the butt of your weapon. when one dies it explodes so try to get them to pack up. then hit one with the butt of your weapon so it will cuase the others to explode as well.
Shotgun:
This is a one shot kill against all floods. Very effective against flood infected humans and elites.
PIstol:
Is good to use against the big round flood that i call "drop chickens". the ones that explode and spawn more parasitic floods. a few shots'll do. if you don't have pistol handy then you can also do a few burst shots of the assualt rifle.
Needler:
Also effective against the flood infected humans and elites. Becuase of the explosion the needler cuases at the end with massive bolts can also take them down in one burst.
