Invisible Monsters You should try living in OKlahoma, Matiko. Man, the bible belt rocks. I'm going to miss California. Moving sucks. I kind of liked the atmosphere, Q. North Carolina is in the Bible Belt ^_^. Q: Actually, it's not that great. It's not easy to get a job. Especially during the academic year. In my area alone, we have close to 12 colleges, all within 30 minutes to 3 hours drive of each other. That's thousands of students that need jobs. They come here, live here, and work here, while studying. The suburbs are great, if you don't mind the interstate or major highway behind your yard. We have people living in suburbs, who have backyards that are as big as my bedroom in my house! And their yards go right up to the streets! Not to mention there's on 15 feet between their house and their neighbors on either side. Could you imagine a fire in a neighborhood like that? Not to mention the major cities have some really run down areas, poor mass transit systems, and dozens of textile factories that are collecting dust because of Bush and real estate business... North Carolina is far from the paradise everyone sees when they visit. We're the typical American state, putting the best face to the outside crowd, while suffering their citizens on the inside. Sorry to burst your bubbles about North Carolina.

Alberta isn't bad for the GLBT, we just like to contrary to the rest of the country. It's so strange that there's that weird pocket of conservatism, while the rest of Canada, even the Yukon, is legalizing same-sex marriage. The entire gay community is in one tiny spot in the middle of town, and there's a fetish bar hiding behind city hall.
The bathhouse raid got so little media attention and a totale of two advocacy groups supported them, even though it was a first for Canada in almost 20 years! Strange things done in that Prairie sun.

If you get in with the right crowd, Oklahoma's not that bad. At my high school, being bi/gay was a big trend. Every other class was full of "curious" people.

For KeithingThis is totally off topic >_>' but since PMs are down and Keithing isn't on AIM or MSN. I have found a place in Calgary where you can purchase the Latter Days DVD [ unrated version] surprised in Futureshop! Actually the site, you can just buy a giftcard from the store if they don't have it in stock, and I believe you can use the giftcard online. Plus the shipping is free ^_^ catch is.. its $33.99 or something like that. But I'll be buying it when my paycheck comes.. if it ever comes.. crying Here's the link: http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&dept=0&WLBS=fsweb23&sku_id=0665000FSM2074846&catid=&newdeptid=13EDIT: And just now PMs have come back online,, just great timing XD!!

I didn't manage to get anything Holloween, just a case of zombie blues. THe thing was so glitchy for me, I only managed to bite three people. Most of the time, it said I wasn't even in the room while I kept getting shot...ah well.
I love California. It's the bomb-diggedy, baby. The weather is nice...could use a little more rain, maybe borrow some from Seattle. Also where I live is choice. Walking distance of everything and all. Jobs are tight though. Not being able to work suxxors bigtime. Hmm...well...it's the best place on earth that I've seen so far, so I think I'll stay here.
