Cameras are getting cheaper these days. If you really wanted to you could probably afford a cheap one.

meppu Cheapest camera, the one I want, costs ~100 € (1€ ~ 1$) and I get 370€ in month, after paying my bills and depts, I have about 60 € to buy food for rest of the month.. Dollar signs actually come before the value... $1. I think a Euro is a bit more than a U.S. Dollar, though it's fallen some.

Would a webcam be an option? You can get decent ones for $40 now I think.
[EDIT] The pictures were ugly so I took some better ones:

My honey doesn't like webcams, so.. And webcams can't be taken with, if leaving somewhere..

Actually there are webcams that can be taken with you just like a regular digital camera. I bought one before but the software didn't work. But maybe you could give those a try?

I don't want to take a risk that software won't work. That's why I want to buy good digital camera, and I'm thinking of buying HP Photosmart E317.

Thanks guys.
I'm sure the software can't be bad for all the cameras like that. I just returned it for a different one anyways so I didn't lose money or anything. It should have been a good quality camera. That HP Photosmart E317 looks like a good camera. Very expensive though.

In Finland it costs ~100 euros, so it's not so expensive. But I need to wait at least 6 months before I can buy it ;__;
