 Misuzu Gatsuki, PyromancerAs if on Cue...A mysterious boy appeared..moving to her side. He had black hair..with a strange sort of part near the ends that was pink. Was it..something intentional?
"I...would deeply enjoy conversing." she called with a small bow, the boy mentioning that she looked like she needed help...And introducing herself.
"I am MIsuzu Gatsuki." she called softly, folding her fingers. "Though..I am most uncertain what there is to talk about..."
The world was in such turmoil...It was troublesome to find a common ground..aside from 'trying to not die....'

Lee thought a bit as the girl introduced herself, telling him she would like to talk...and, a lack of topics.
"Well..there's always the whole demon thing." he started, before waving a hand. "And..you know. Things about yourself...And the like. I'm...A fresh transfer to Inaba...And..Well.."
'Come on Lee, Think! There has to be something you can talk about with her..!'
He...for all of his desire to talk with people..was rather horrible at it, on the spot. He kept thinking of questions, and dashing them just as quickly, going silent next to the girl as he furrowed his brow, looking...deathly serious. As if this was a choice that would end the world..
'But what if she doesn't like burgers? She's kind of Ojou-y...But.'

Misuzu Gatsuki, PyromancerSomething about the situation...It prompted a small giggle from the girl. The boy, Leeyreak, was having a most problematic time trying to form a sentence....And, she noticed him take on a scary look, losing himself in thought.
"I am Misuzu Gatsuki, as I have stated." she mused, lightly. "Before all of this, I was merely wandering from town to town..trying to figure out a place that I could set up a residence."
The last bonfire was probably destroyed in this wreck..So, her hunt continued....
"And...I was in the area, when things went a bit..tough. I awoke after a slumber, covered in rubble.....Come to think of it, I might have expired.."
An..interesting topic for sure, even if it was somber.

Leeyreak OumLee was grateful the girl broke the ice....Talking about how she was looking for a home....And, then the world..well..ended.
"That's..rough, Gatsuki-chan.." he responded quietly, flinching as she said she might have...
'I musta misheard her.' he reasoned with himself, shaking his head s she asked him....Using his full name.
"Ah..just call me Lee." he mused, waving a hand. "And..I just kind of moved here a while ago..And..my father recently passed. I've been doing what I can to make up for what he's left behind in us..But."
'Ah shoot! I lead off with the 'My Dad is dead' part again!' he mentally chided, frowning at his own idiocy, and shaking his head.
"I..I mean..I'm really just kind of a normal student. Not a lot going on otherwise...and...Ah..Hmmmm.."
He hoped she didn't linger on the idea...Not because it was hard to think about...

The girl was very used to formalities...So, an alias was a bit new for her....Though, the name was easier to say. She listened as he mentioned moving recently, along with his father's passing...And, that he was a normal student.
"I am most apologetic for your loss." she mused, gently placing her hand on his. "I am here if you wish to converse further on it. Merely seek me out, and I will aid you as much as I am capable..Lee."
Death was a...scary prospect, to those that did not know of it. It was something horrifying to normal people..But to someone who had already experienced it so many times..
It was losing it's effect on her. Though, it did not diminish her kindness.

'She's..really really formal..' he noted.. 'b..but..she seems kind of..clueless on what kind of meaning her actions have.....on us.'
A girl, offering a boy support, no matter what? And...holding hands....
"Ah..Erm..it was..Nothing.." he called, lightly standing up. "I was...glad to assist...Gatsuki-chan."
He was blushing still..He couldn't help it. She was....sweet, and polite. He worried about her well being now...But, he didn't want to push his luck.

Sadly she didn't have the time to wait because what the demon was rustling around for was a hiding human, and it had just uncovered its cowering prey...

Some people were handling the apocalypse surprisingly well, considering what was being thrown at them. Then, there was Mikoto. The green haired rocker ducked into a classroom at Yasogami as he hid from the Mou-Ryo that pursued the school's hallways, attempting to catch up to her 'lovely' master. She'd said something about thinking he was cute, wanting to serve him, and meaning no harm...but there was no way he was listening to all that. I mean, she was a Demon, right? "Why do bad things happen to good people? I'm too good looking to die!" Mikoto balefully wailed from his hiding spot, his pride definitely not getting the better of him. Human nomming things...? Oh gawd, what am I saying. I'M human!" Mikoto had to fight off a bout of light-headedness as he started to envision a flabby Preta taking a nice, long taste of his delicious, smooth leg...oh for pete's sake, he was probably jinxing himself just thinking about it. Little did he know, that the two demon groups fighting down below, on the street, were in fact his own demons protecting him from harm, and a horde of ravenous, actual flesh-devouring beasts...for you see, Mikoto might not have been blessed with the strongest of constitutions, but he had one thing that made up for it, in spades; luck. Without hesitation, or rather on reflex, Mikoto threw a punch that sent the demon reeling backwards as it popped up in front of him. Compared to the Haunted House, this actually wasn't so bad...although he was sad that Mirai wasn't here this time, considering having some company might get his nerves to calm down a bit. On the other hand, he hoped that she was alright, wherever she was...he hoped someone had warned her about the freak toxic gas spillage in Inaba, that must have caused all the people to hallucinate monsters and the like. Yyyyup, that was the answer...this was all part of his imagination, things he'd been forced to conjure due to some sort of chemical company...spilling a mcguffin...and transforming into a something...oh hell, he didn't know. But that's how it always worked on tv, right? Look, he was just trying to think of something. His heart was already beating out of his chest due to the circumstances... The device kept ringing off the hook, which was strange since he couldn't get through to anyone earlier. But the timing felt more convenient, since he'd just punched that demon when it started ringing...and while there was a small part of him that kept egging him on to pick up the phone, and see what was going on, the smarter portion of him just kept reminding him, cautiously, about the urban legend he'd heard recently about the Cellphone Snatcher...a voice that called those who were out on the streets late at night on their own, and when they picked up, made it so they were never heard from again. That wasn't going to be him! No sir-ree...n-not this time...or any time! ANYTIME. Oh gawd, the ghosts probably took that as a challenge... While outside a Mou Ryo delivered an iconic uppercut to a member of the Mantra, fending off several difficult demons in service to her master (pending), Mikoto remained blissfully ignorant as he sat inside the closed store nearby, eyes closed and ears covered after he'd seen a pack of demons coming down the street. While he was hoping the demons would go away, knees barely not knocking from the sinking feeling in his gut, little did he know that the ghastly creature outside was in fact loyal to him and dealing with the menace in a quick and confident fashion...nor would he likely know, as he finally peeked a single eye open, only to spot a window that would let him duck out the back. No was no time for hesitation! He had to live by that oldest of pirate traditions; fighting...to run away! But emphasis on the fleeing bit. Needless to say, picking up a High Pixie as a new minion wasn't something MIkoto had planned, and as he sprinted away from the "monster" that came to terrorize him, he found his lungs burning from the stress of running about here or there, trying to escape all these deadly things...and yet, no matter how far he ran, he couldn't outrun that little thing! Damn buggy demon things, with wings to carry them around...n-not that he wanted wings, though! Jeez, he had enough problems just trying to survive demons, he didn't want to imagine what his life would be like if he became one of them...
