[INFECTED]The slow roaming came to an awkward end when the scent of something really lovely buoyed up the poor zombie. She dragged herself slowly slowly very slowly towards where it came from. Don't blame a retarded shubie, the vaccine earlier injected seemed to have some sort of weird reaction with the virus, temporarily slow down all the functions of her tiny brain. "............T...a...s....t...y......" She reached out for her, the savory aroma and the colors reminded her of a wonderful treat - the Red Velvet Cheesecake. She had a target and she will go for it. Sherry gratefully accepted the handed rune, even though she stayed standing. "Thanks, but I'm...I'd rather be ready if we need to move. Can't get to comfortable." She said the last with a resigned sigh. And then it was Sherry's turn to look at the other in surprise. "I.." She totally blushed a little. It was the compliments, and the how happy Abbi sounded, at least to Sherry's ears. "Thank you. You are the sweetest, you know that?" She meant it. As she spoke she looked down, attempting to fit the two runes together. Nope. Nope. More failing. "After this, Abbi, I think we need to go out. Relax. Do you like shopping? We should go shopping after this. And there will be an after this, we are not dying in that place." Sherry had only ever hung out with the girl at work, really. Usually...very during bad times. It was kinda terrible. 1/3

Milo's final form knocked Robert out cold. He swayed, and then teetered over like a falling tree, his entire body bouncing once before stilling on the floor.
And thus, the day was saved. Thanks to - Milo!

Maebe's face took on a softer, almost humble expression as he apologized, and she softly punched him on the shoulder. "It's okay. I would have done the same to you." And she would have. A zombie came by while they were having their moment, and bit her - and she really did taste pretty good. "Damnit, not again." She whined, summoning Thaw to push Shu away with her trident. Not sitting down was... Probably the best idea. Quick to file the information away (sitting down in the middle of a hazard zone, regardless of the reason, was a bad idea, Deus Lesson #??), Abbi nodded again and got stuck in the motion of it for another little bit. She felt silly, and so young, and as though she'd had no training at all, nodding was all she had. "We'll have time to get comfy when we get back to base... I'll even find you some tea or something." Tea was cozy, even if Abbi had only a periphery knowledge of the drink. In rebuttal Abbi squawked some sort of sputtering reply, waving the two runes in her hands around. "Omigosh, no way. Not even close. You're way sweeter than me I'm like... That gross vegan brand of sweetner that's really sour? You're the real deal." But she blushed too and filed the compliment away, hiding it behind a tilt of her head that shifted a pigtail so it covered her little smile. Her head swung up at the offer and once again Abbi was nodding. "Yeah totally! I'm super good at shopping! I'm a crazy high level shopper, I just went with Leslie to Chicago and actually convinced him to buy new clothes. It was a lot of fun!" She paused and bit her lip, looking back down at her mismatched runes. "I think I'd... I'd really like your input. I need more... Mature dresses? Like date stuff, yanno? And you've got this really awesome trendy but adult lady style... So... Um..." Her voice trailed off, but she passed a hopeful smile to Sherry as though that was explanation enough. Anti-Virus: 1/3

Jude took the soft punch with a small laugh. All was forgiven and accepted between them as he said, "I wouldn't blame you for it."
Why would he? How could he? No one would ever know.
Except for maybe the zombie attacking his friend, currently. "Ah, s**t. Not again," he mumbled softly under his breath as he resummoned his weapon and attacked the poor soul. "I JUST got her fixed."

"Oh, I like tea!" Sherry was more than fine with Abbi's pauses. Abbi was clearly concentrating on the runes, which, Sherry should have been doing. They needed more of these vial things. Stupid virus. She stopped with one rune in her hand to look at Abbi, and she couldn't help but smile at the girl's reaction. Too cute, by far. "You are, too. The real deal." Then Sherry looked a tiny bit perplexed. "I have no idea what sweetener you're talking about though. But you can't be anything that's sour." Fact, as far as Sherry was concerned. But everything was replaced with a smile as Abbi brightened. "Oh, I bet Chicago was fun! Must have been fancy. And Leslie..." Sherry still didn't know Mr. Leslie, beyond him bumping into her. For now, she set that aside so that she could blush again. Compliments, Sherry didn't deserve them. "Ah, Thank you. I'm not sure what my style is, but I like it. I can most certainly give input though. But I'm sure anything would look cute on you." Then she paused. "...Date things?" Sherry found herself at once curious, cautious (omg Leslie????), and a little shocked. Sherry was terrible at dating...and thus choosing outfits for such things. In her opinion anyway. Abbi should really ask someone else. But...Sherry wanted more information. "Like super fancy things? Or more...everyday wear." This conversation was perfect for taking her mind off of the zombies. Sherry was cool with that. 1/3

[INFECTED] Instead of a big chunk, the petite zombie only nibbled for a small bit, more like tasting. Dislike zombies that devour everything violently, she enjoyed taking her treat bit by bit. It might just feel like bitten by a playful kitten which constantly bothered you. She was right, this treat tasted heavenly, the turbid eyes of Shu sparkled dimly. However, it was very hard to be seen on such pale skin. "A.....h.....h....h......" She seemed to whimper in sadness with "Don't reject me, tasty treat," When the cold non-edible thing pushed her away. She flailed her hands in super slow movement, like babies, but much slower. Her blood tasted as sweet as syrup, if she can't bite, then she can lick? Her fleshes were soft like sponge cake, she just wanted more, don't push her away! She struggled, but her effort was nullified by a lemon pie. Shu wanted to cry even she was zombie, she just wanted her little treat, why you have to stop her. She was pushed onto the ground, rolled a round and stumbled to stand up again. She was so hungry and she already knew how great the cheesecake was, it was suffering. "A..h.....h.....h.....r.....u....d......e." She sniveled about the cruel treatment, and went for her delicious food again. "D....o...n'....t.....s...t.....o.....o....p....m....e......" "You know, I'm super sick of this s**t." At least this zombie was small, and complimenting her, even as it tried to eat her. Still, she was entirely done with the whole zombie apocalypse bullshit, and it showed as she stood up, shook Shu off of her, and held Thaw up as high as she could. "Demon, be gone." She called out, sarcasm bleeding through her tone as she excised Shu - by stabbing her straight through the stomach with the trident prongs. HP: 42/50 Damage: ...14 I'M SORRY

He was strong, but they were stronger: Robert's blows wailed against his shield, and Syntax wailed in turn ( Rᴇᴅ ᴀʟᴇʀᴛ. ʀᴇᴅ ᴀʟᴇʀᴛ. Mᴀxɪᴍᴜᴍ sʜɪᴇʟᴅ ᴄᴀᴘᴀᴄɪᴛʏ ʀᴇᴅᴜᴄᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ 45%), buckling under the pressure. But it didn't matter. The pain compressed itself into a thousand megabytes, then kilobytes, then bytes, shrinking down until it was minimal enough to be packed away. It wouldn't aid his shield's failure, but no matter how Svensyl struck him-- and oh, how the Jabberwocky did-- the pain was at least a little muted. It did not, however, stop Mimsy from speaking, and wasn't that the worst part? (It was.) Every word she uttered (venom embodied, cruelty actualized) made Kostya's fury grow, immense and rolling like a tidal wave before its event horizon. The world was at his fingertips, he knew, as innately that the sky was black and there was a return to serve. If only his body was strong enough to use the power as intended, to wreak havoc and destroy everything in the name of his revenge. But he was not. Kostya stared up at Mimsy with hateful eyes, still glossy and black like the dark void of night, head tilted back through the sheer force of Mimsy's grip. "You do not know vhat strength is," he whispered, harsh and wet and bleeding, lip curled. "Strength is vhat I have seen and vhat I vill do. You are not vorth it to use my native tongue. You vill fail, as you have always fail. You vill never know anything but." Skeleton bone thin, her wrists were, and Svensyl honed as sharp as a needle's point. It was Mimsy's murderous intent whittled down into the most efficient package possible. If only they got along, he might admire it. If only they got along, they wouldn't be here. But they did not, and so the monster dug its teeth into his neck, the shield protecting him buckling in finality, giving the monster's teeth a way to the soft flesh beneath it. Syntax vanished from around his arm, and Kostya reached up to weakly push her away, with no success. He mouthed a single word at her, before slipping away: Failure. hp// 0

In the end, Kostya's greatest defense was to remind Mimsy of her failures, and it might truly have been an effective tactic if it had been employed just a bit sooner. As the failure took root in her mind, she was already bathing in the warmth of his flesh and blood, and the loss of one boson seemed so incomparable to this victory; but it wasn't, because as insignificant as bosons might be in relative size, conquering one human life could never compare to conquering the knowledge that came with that. It was just a bit difficult to make it matter at this particular instant. Later, she might find herself stunned in remembrance of what she had (not) done. She might pause to consider a thousand theoreticals. She might wonder when her greatest success might slip through her fingers again. But that was later, and this was the time to feast, to lap up every last milliliter of whatever minuscule semblance of power he somehow believed he possessed, of the strange affliction that blackened his eyes, to compare its flavor to all she'd ever tasted to better understand how to better herself. Now was the time for victory, and that was precisely what she celebrated, as Svensyl sang congratulations in five made-up languages. She had just opened her mouth to take another bite when Robert fell, taking her along with him. Her teeth snapped painfully together, and she let out an agonized groan, ready to drag him back towards her spoils - until she saw that her zombie husband was no longer moving at all. In a moment of truly cruel irony, she shoved Kostya's body away from them to grant her enough room to focus on Robert. She shifted to sit atop the larger man's motionless form, regarding him with a short little sigh. With Robert now subdued, she moved to untie the scarf around their arms at last, confident that they were relatively safe for the moment. Should that change, she could reconsider; in the meantime, however, she slipped it around his neck again, and pulled on either end of it to bring him closer to her. " Robeeert," she purred, as best a battle-worn woman who spoke in monotone could. No reaction. She lowered him down the few inches required to put him back on the ground, and released the scarf in favor of placing one hand on each of his shoulders to support herself as she leaned over him. "Wake up, Robert," she tried again, grinning down at him. A thick droplet of blood, his and hers and someone else's, fell from the corner of her smile and onto his cheek. Unwilling to allow it to so readily escape her, she bent to lick it off, momentarily savored it, and returned her attention to him. "Come on, Robert. Wake up. This is no time to rest. I have something wonderful to show you." She waited, ever patient, for him to show any signs of movement. When he continued not to, she opted to employ another method. "Aren't you hungry, Robert?" Her lips were next to his ear, the inquiry a low whisper, and she peppered him with little kisses, greedily absorbing a delicious new coppery taste with each one of them. So many variations, slight but noticeable, and she relished in the ability to sample them now when she had not been capable before. " I am hungry. So very, very hungry. Wake up, so we may eat. I will feed you, like I promised. Come on. Eat."

It took a good, long while before the virus finally bled out of his dying system, and Robert's body began to revert to normal. He just laid there, unaware that he was being wooed by his wife to awaken and feed once more, and missing out on a whole lot of twisted affection.
When he finally did stir, it was with an epic groan of agony, followed by a whimper that made him pinch his face in despair. He couldn't open his eyes for another few seconds, but he could feel Mimsy's breath against his ear, and her kisses, wet and strangely slimy, against his skin. It stirred him enough to open one eye, and then the other.
"Mimsy," He whimpered out, only to take a sudden sharp inhale of breath and repeat it with an entirely awake tone. "Mimsy!" He screamed, his hands gripping at her arms tightly and pulling her closer, staring into her eyes. "You okay? Why are you so covered in blood Jesus Christ, don't move, don't move baby-" He frantically began to wipe her face with his jacket, desperately trying to get all the blood off of her. All he succeeded in doing was smearing it until it looked like war paint - and he still had no idea how much was on HIS face. His hands started to shake even as he cleaned her, and then he let out a shuddering sob, before crushing her against him.
"I don't know what happened, I don't understand, I was so scared for you. You sure you ain't hurt nowhere? I got bandaids, tell me where it hurts."
But despite his offer for help, he refused to let her go.

[INFECTED]When there were two different savory treats in front of her, Shu had a difficulty to pick, after a while of pausing (which might seem to be retarding in human's eyes), the girl continued to go for the cheesecake, the lemon pie can wait, after she finished tasting this one. "L...i....n.....e......u....p....w...a....i...t...." She used her pair of turbid yellow eyes blankly stared at Jude, asking him to wait. Feeling ignored, her cheesecake pushed her off and stabbed her right through the middle. The petite pity zombie convulsed, coughed bloods out, eyes stared at the exorcist in sorrow. The agony was too much to endure, her blood stained hands feebly climbed up the cold trident for a few units, fingers crawled with quivers for a last attempt to touch her pretty delicacy. "A..h.....h......h.." It was unfortunately useless, Shu's eyes widened as big as she could for a few seconds before they closed slowly and a goodbye like hand movement afore her hands slumped on the floor. [ ANTIVIRUS ] No matter what happened, Shu woke up with the rusty metal taste in her mouth, she felt her throat dry and nauseous. The hunters surrounded her all looked at her with caution. "She wakes up." The Death blinked at them, clueless of the reason why she was stared like that. Thus, she asked. According to them, she was infected and then cured by vaccine. After the girl said thank you, the hunters waved their hands in annoyance, dispatched her to help with antivirus if she had the time to say useless things like that. The petite Asian sat down quietly and picked up a part with a rune on it, she glanced at the symbol for a while, before she concluded that she couldn't read it at all. Quote: Roll 1: 4 Roll 2: ?
