The wolf fell silent and remained sprawled across the carpet where she'd initially slumped to the floor, lavender eyes simply watching and waiting for anything to happen. She wasn't at all pressuring Jaden to hurry with a decision, she knew that he was probably trying to take everything into consideration and she thought it wise he chose not to immediately rush into anything. It seemed to more or less be his solution for most things, relying on his physical strength, so it was good that he was able to know when to hold back and wait.

"Highly irrelevant information." Jaden said, tapping his claws together as the thought things through. "Well no... There is only the mild relevance that I have another conspiricy after me... and that I can not trust them to help storm the FBI headquarters."
Jaden sat up with and angry glare. "I will have to go through another venue in order to accomplish our task." He looked over at Sybl. "Bring me that damn book under the coffee table, the one that has a cover made of black metal."

"Thank you." Jaden said, running his fingers over the ancient cover. The book itself was locked up up but that wasn't what he needed. Flipping the tome over he stroked the back with a kind of love. "I know he knows I have this but still... better to let him know."
The alpha looked at the individuals in the room and frowned. "I should let you know that I never intended to do this and that it's only out of a desperation to protect the pack that I put it in this kind of danger." His palm laid on the black metal cover and suddenly it lit up like the northern lights, any pattern of colors shimmered in dozens of symbols before returning to the same slab of engraved metal.
"For better or worse you are both going to soon meet an individual that may help us with all of our current problems. He is an extremly successful alpha male and has been such for a very long time. Though his methods are unorthodox and he will not do this for free I'm sure he will aid us."

Sibyl had no idea what was spewing from Jaden's mouth or why he was talking such nonsense or stroking a book as though it meant more to him than the two pack members of his in the room. The scene was actually beginning to make her uncomfortable and when she finally processed and registered that Duke had actually caught whim of the possibility that Ceon was planning to off Jaden the wolf became rather uncomfortable. Ceon challenging Jaden in the traditional sense was fine but something told her that after Jaden's display in the subway that Ceon wasn't going to challenge him the traditional way and she became more concerned with that than Jaden's rambling.

The wolf began pacing with unease, incapable of standing still and she barely made sense of what Jaden had to say either but she didn't get the best feeling from it. Quite suddenly she didn't want to be here any longer and she just wanted to leave. She was still in heat and probably wasn't the best to be travelling off alone or going to Ceon to try and figure things out she decided she was going to do just that. She wanted facts before she believed anything, proof and hopefully Ceon would tell her the truth though she'd probably be able to tell if he was lying to her since she'd been able to tell on previous occasions.

The wolf snorted at Jaden's closing sentence, almost as if she were offended and she seemed to be angry for lack of a better word for the first time she'd stayed in New York. ~I hope he doesn't call himself a wolf because he is not a true wolf if he insists on materialism and being repaid for assisting his bretheren in a time of need. I need out of here. I'm leaving for a while. I'll be back or you'll track me down again worried that I can't take care of myself or to meet this stranger soon so whatever brings us back together I suppose.~

After excusing herself she left without another word, clearly not happy at a few things said and still very much in heat.
