Leo smiled a little from the bombardment of questions he was being hammered with. "Burned cornea's are reparable, I think...but with surgery. I don't know how I got my sight back." he said softly, closing his eyes briefly as he didn't really need them. "I don't know if I've learned to activate my visions....I just decided to try it to see what happened. But when I had the vision, it was like I was already in the fire just minutes after I left it...." He wasn't sure why that was significant, it was sort of the same way he saw all of his visions in a way.

"Well, I hope my brother was a helpful guinea pig," Sasha joked, rolling her eyes. "Still, the fact that you were able to see again... I wonder if there was some kind of trigger. A switch, maybe. I guess we'll find out if it happens again." If there was indeed some kind of switch that can allow Leo to see again, maybe he would have a more certain hope of getting his sight back.

Leo gave a soft sigh and shook his head. "I don't know, it's never happened before." he turned toward her once more. "I'm gonna have to figure out how to hide these wounds from my brother the next time I see him. I guess I can wear long sleeves to cover the bandage on my arm but...I'm not sure about my ear." he said softly. "How are you feeling Sam?"

"He's sleeping," Sasha giggled. "About that hole in your ear... I think I have a hat you can wear. Oh, but he's going to find out eventually... Maybe the twins can help! Well, after they've calmed down, of course." She wasn't sure just what their healing powers could do, but they might be able to fix the hole. It was rather small, and ears were made of only skin and cartilage. It shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Leo shook his head. "No, it's okay. I don't want to take advantage of them...besides I believe that certain wounds should heal in their own time." he said softly. It wouldn't be the end of the world if Asher found out what happened but Leo wanted to minimize his brother's stress as much as possible, Asher was constantly worrying about him.

"If you say so. Just let us know if you want it fixed real soon," said Sasha before she sighed. "I sure hope all this ends quickly. It's more for your sake, really." She couldn't help but feel concerned about Leo. He's only a child, and he was already exposed to more than even a movie character might be. It truly was strange that he didn't break down from stress.

"Me too." he said softly as he moved toward her and gave Sasha a hug. He was definitely ready for this part of his life to be over. He never knew what was going to happen next and that made him nervous. "I just hope everyone else will be okay. I'm sorry for dragging all of you into this."

"I think it's more like we all followed you into the mess," Sasha said, giving Leo a small smile. "We care about you, so it would be natural that we want to take care of you. Besides, it's not like you knew all of this was going to happen." She ruffled the boy's hair. Maybe it was time for a change in topic. "Want to check on the pie? It must have cooled down so much now."

Leo was glad for the change of topic to the pie, he would much rather be thinking about anything else but this right now. "Yeah, Chase didn't want to cut into it without you guys here. He didn't think it would be fair." he said softly as he stood and followed Sasha to the kitchen.

Sasha found a knife and began to cut a couple slices from the pie. "It looks kinda weird, but not bad. Let's see how it tastes," she said as she handed Leo a plate with one of the slices. "Bon appetit!"

Leo smiled and set the plate down on the counter so he wouldn't drop it, eating a bite and smiling. "Almost as good as mom makes it." he said happily, it was the only thing he had of his mother's. "Try it, it's a little on the sweet side but it's really yummy."

Sasha tried her own slice. "Not bad for our first try," she commented. "It's a nice change from smoothies. I wish we had some whipped cream for these. That would be really good."

"I think whipped cream would have made it too sweet." he said softly, finishing his slice and placing his plate into the sink. "You know....now that I've had the chance to see...even for a few minutes..." he said softly. "I think I've decided that I definitely want the surgery....eventually, I mean." Leo said a little bashfully as he turned back around to face Sasha.

Sasha smiled. "Let's hope the medical field develops such a surgery soon, then," she said. She was suddenly startled when the floor shook violently and, upon turning around, Chase and Cherry walked into the kitchen, looking as if nothing happened. The deaf girl couldn't help but shush them, for Sam was still sleeping."Hey! You're eating the pie! How is it?" Chase asked as he cut a slice for himself and tried it. "Needs whipped cream. Not enough sugar!"

Upon hearing the footsteps, Leo turned his head toward the sound and smiled at the familiar voice, but he swore he heard more than just one set of footsteps. "Cherry? How are you feeling?" he asked worriedly, hoping the poor girl's mental state was in okay shape.
