The harpy was gone. Daaiji stood at the top of the cliffs and stared, letting the breeze run across her bare arms and face.

Like before, Gun had no problems climbing up the cliff. He made it up quickly, finding foot and hand holds easily.

When he came up to the bridge, he didn't give himself any time to second guess it. He toed the very edge of it, and then he dashed across as fast as he could. There was no way he was going down this time.

He was ready for the harpies this time. He braced himself with his weapon and then struck out hard.

Being prepared didn't mean he could avoid being overwhelmed, however. There we so many harpies it was impossible not to lose track off all the movement. He threw his hands over his head and waited it out.

A few strikes with his weapon was enough to give him the upper hand again, and he widened his stance and braced for the oncoming slew of attacks.

The next time he struck out with his pain spike he was better prepared. He stabbed outwards with a sure movement and landed a solid hit.

He let out an aggressive snarl with the force of his next attack. It just seemed like the kind of things heroes did in movies. He made a very flashy attack, so why not act flashy?

He stabbed forward one last time and the harpies disappeared around his weapon and back into the fog. He was left alone on the platform, finally, and was able to walk forward and claim one of the orbs.

Thean then arrived at the large and thin bridge. She decided to go quicker across this time. She stepped lightly across and headed on to face the harpies.
Thean entered the aerie like a woman on a mission. She went to the first harpy and slashed her across her chest.
