Slishos heard the voice, steady and calm. He was at first startled by the sound of his name. He was not that known, and it almost sounded foreign to hear it escape the lips of what resembled a female voice. He glanced at the sound, and looked into the eyes of someone he had not seen in a long time. "Carri?" He asked, jutting him his chair, knocking it to the floor as he did so. She was more beautiful than he remembered, he had always thought so, but he just was too proud to admit it. "Carri? Is that really you?" He asked again, this time more frantic than before.

She bit her lip softly, hesitating in answering. Was it right to go back to the name Carri? Would that be betraying her vow? She wanted to say that Carri was dead, that she was Miki now. But the frantic look in his eyes made her stop. She remebered the look in Neji's eyes and Tadaaki's eyes. Was Carri really that important to them? She answered moments after Slishos asked. "Yes. It's me." She said with a nod. Despite the releif she suddenly felt having the weight of Miki's burdens and Carri's seem to lighten alot. Her mind told her it was because she wan't living a lie anymore.

Slishos was silent for but a few brief moments, but laughed from behind his mask, and took Carri deep into his arms and spun her in a small circle. "You do not know how great it is to see you! I didn't think I would ever see you again!" Slishos hugged her once more, before letting her down. She was sight for sore eyes, and if Carri was here, that meant that Neji and Tadaaki, were not far behind. Those eyes made him realize that he had been gone far too long, and it was wonderful to be back. "I was stupid for leaving you, the guys. I wont make that same mistake again. How have you been?" He asked her sweetly, dispite his concealed appearence, he really was joyed to see her. In his heart and mind, he could feel that there was something different about her, the way she moved, the way she talked, something had changed greatly. But what, he could not muster. He could only hope that she was the same wonderful Carri that he remembers from before.

It took her amomnt to recover from the sudden hug. She hadn't been expecting that. "Don't feel stupid. I left shortly after you did." She confessed looking away. She didn't think she could tell him what she's done in the past 5 years. She was was atually starting to feel guilty about it all. "I've been......ok." She said, struggling for the word. Before she would have said she was doing better then before she made the mastake to join them. But......she didn't feel the same way now. What happened in the past few hours that made her change so drasticly? She would have to think aboutt this later. "I bet you'd like to see Neji and Tadaaki-sensei again, huh?" She said, looking back to him.

Slishos pulled back his mask lightly and winked at her playfully, before returning it to his face. "You bet I do." He laughed lightly. But something told him that things were not alright, dispite the white lie that she had told. Something was bothering her, and even though they had history together, he did not want to over stay his welcome on her, and her heart. A lot about Slishos had changed, the values he held on friendship strengthened. He was in a prime example of perfection, when he embraced his old friend. The feeling of her in his arms, reminded him that he had something great, but he made the mistake of being an imbicile. "You left? Why? You had so much going for you. But again, I was so stupid. Never should have left any of you behind." He outstretched his arm, and borded Carri to follow, and lead him to where his other friends were hiding.

"I............don't know. I thought I did........but I guess.......I don't really know why." She said as started to lead him back to the hospital. "And, before you freak out, Neji and Tadaaki are fine. Neji just got into a fight and hurt his arm." She told him as they arrived in front of the hospital. "I have to go for alittle bit. I'm sure you can find Neji and Tadaaki, by yourself, right?" She needed to continue her search for a home, that, and she needed to think about everything. About what happened since Tadaaki and Neji found her again.

Slishos looked at the hospital, and back at Carri. He was a bit confused. Neji, hurt? I mean, sure, he got some injuries, but not ones that would put him in the hospital. "Are you sure you don't want me to help you?" He smiled at her, and waited patiently for her answer. He knew that this was probably a lot for her to take in, so he decided to leave it alone. "Have fun, and be safe." He waved to her, and walked into the hospital.
A nurse at the check-in counter directed him towards neji's room, where he would see the rest of his group for the first time, in a long time. He knocked on the door, and listened for a response on the other side.

Carri watched him walk inside before turning and walking away. What was going on? Why did she leave? Did she leave because that's what she thought Neji wanted? And if so, why did she want to make Neji happy? Wasn't the eason why she left because she realised she was in the way? Or was it something else? Her mind said fear, but what did she have to be afraid of? She then turned her mind to something else. Why had she started to regret the past 5 years? She had everything. A home. People to call a family. Someone to love. She realised something, she always refered to the assasins at the bar as people to call a family.....but had she really thought of them as such? Had she really been living a lie? What was love? Did she really feel it for Daki? Could she actually love? Question after question flowed through her mind and only a few answers. And they only brought more questions. Her head spun as she realised that it was becomeing later and later and she had not accmplished anything.

(((Hey you guys! I mean... HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!)))
Neji was no longer sleeping but he was still kind of drowsy as he had just recently woke up. Before he could fall asleep again he heard knocking outside his door. "Come in!" He said in a groggy voice. Normally he would check with his White Eyes to see who it was before he openned it but he was too tired to remember. Plus, who would come looking for him in the hospital? As soon as he remembered his fight with Daki he immediatly had a suspect. He gripped his bedsheets with his good arm.

"Well ,well, well, what mishapen carcass is this that I have found?" Slishos announced, as he opened the door, and allowed himself entrance. He laughed hysterically as he approached the bed, seeing Neji laying atop a hospital bed. He was at first, rather uneasy about seeing his old friend, that, and he tried not to seem upset that he had been hurt. He replaced his worries with laughter, and stared down at his friend.
Slishos removed his mask, the scars on his face did not bother him at this particular moment, they were concealed in a small room, he would not worry about stares and remarks which he hated the most about the world. He had problems with the way that he looked, but he knew that it was okay in the presence of Neji. Taadaki was no where in sight, but that was okay for the time being, they would meet again in due time. "How are you holding up?" He asked, still laughing uneasily.

(((lol, you missed it! Carri met up with Slishos she left later while Slishos went to the hospital to see Neji.)))
Neji felt revitalized by the insults as he suddenly had a new mission; to kill this guy! He moved up slowly, trying to get his a closer look at the man. He ran his hand through his extremely long hair, letting some of his wild bangs loose. "Slishos? Is that you?" He asked in bewilderment. Before he could think of a greeting his mind was already flashing visions of them together again, as a group. It was amazing, the best thing to have happened in a while besides finding Carri.
"Of course, only an idiot would come barging in like this, trying to be funny but dishing out insults," He flashed his former mocking smile. Even though he had changed to a more sincere person over the years he still had a cocky attitude.

Slishos put a hand upon Neji's head, and rubbed his hair into a small tattered mess like a brother kid sibling. "There is that Neji charm I am so fond of." He laughed lightly, and kept his eyes upon Neji. It was so great to see him again. Yes, it was true, Slishos had changed for the better, he valued his friends a lot more than he use to. The sense of lonliness had taught him well. "You look terrible, what did you do?" He asked his old friend. Slishos was the trouble maker, so it was a whole different perspective, NOT being the one on the bed. "Things have changed. Even you and Carri have changed. Hell, I'VE changed!" Slishos laughed once more, and sat down on a chair beside Neji's bed crossing his arms lightly.
