This time Jessica was ready for Scorpio's bullets she launched herself forward, focusing all her energy into her attack. "Resonance Rush!" She yelled. Her body began to glow and was surrounded by a burning resonance force as the speed of her charge increased dramatically Her attack ripped straight through the bullets she had fired as she aimed to collide directly with Scorpio. If the attack landed, it would cause serious damage.

I am vaguely reminded of Prince of Persia as I write this one...
Lance Archer was literally at his wit's end as he saw the flame flow down this thing's back. He did a weird roll that brought him behind one of the massive crystals, shielding him from the worst of it. With a swing, and a self-throw that was better suited for an action movie, Lance flipped himself up off the crystal beast and landed on its neck like a half-deranged cowboy....but even though he managed to grip the thing's rocky neck with his battered legs, he felt a searing pain that signaled his consciousness was about at an end. He'd suffered far too many injuries and lost far too much blood and all the stubbornness and pure adrenaline in the world couldn't save him now.
As he summoned up the last dribble of his energy, he was convinced that even if he killed this monster, he was as good as dead anyways. Might as well do it right. He placed both hands at the base of the thing's skull and focused the remainder of his soul wavelength into his palms. He'd always been led to believe that at his current level, he could only use four Hawkshots in the same 24 hour span before passing out. Now he was about to fire a 4th and 5th at the exact same instant. "Father, if you could see me now..." Lance murmured to himself as he felt the first waves of the madness wavelength finally touch down. They flooded him and he damn near turned his hands on himself, but he felt the promised strength flowing through him as his fear evaporated and the madness finally killed all that remained of his good sense. In retrospect, he was lucky that he'd soon be out cold or else he might have become a lost cause right then and there.
"I am Lance Archer, son of Jack 'Dead-Eye' Archer....and I will not be denied!" He screamed those words as he bore down and fired those double-barreled blasts. "DOUBLE-BARREL HAWKSHOT!" He never even heard himself as the twin lances of royal vilet light pierced down through the beast's skin and struck home, right into its brain and cutting its spinal cord (or the equivalents of those body parts). As hard as he'd forced them, coupled with the momentary surge of madness that had amplified him, to see the massive stony-crystal head separate from its shoulders would not have been a far stretch of the imagination. Either way, he'd just dealt a killing blow to the hands-down largest and most heavily armored demon of the group. Maybe not the strongest or the smartest, but he'd done it...as he faded from consciousness, and his body went limp and fell from its perch, he wore a smug s**t-eating grin. He wasn't even aware that his body was covered in more wounds than skin, and just about every non-mortalbone in his body was either bruised, fractured, or broken outright. ((Like a boss. Just solo'd the Soul eater version of the rock titan while tanking enough rocks, crystals, and fire to....to leave me without a witty metaphor for once. Now we just have to wait for everyone else to catch up. XDDD Ready for pickup, so long as you promise not to touch my butt >_> well, not too much anyways cat_xp))

Ren noticed a crystal got stuck to Lily and giggled, glad that she got hit. "Serves you right." He watched as she moved and blinked before jumping to avoid her swing but he miscalculated his timing of Lily's swing and got hit by her attack. "Ow!" He sighed and groaned a little. "That hurt. That'll leave a mark..."

Lily grinned "yea....and the more i cut you....the more blood i take from you" she said to him, she was being honest her blade would absorb any blood draw or what ever blood touched the blade "Blood spear" she then jumped back away from him pointing her blade at him, and upon doing this blood started to excrete from the blade forming around it only to more quickly towards him acting lik a spear connected to the blades tip
+ Weapon Creation: she can create a katana which helps release more of her power(helps her use two tailed form easier) + Elemental force: she can harness 3 elements with the help of her sword Fire,Water and Air + Two Tailed Elemental Form: instead of letting her powers take control she works with the powers + Enhanced speed + Blood Blade: the blade she can create is known as the blood blade, it absorbs any blood that is drawn with the blade, and when needed it can use the blood within the blade to attack, it is almost lie a black blood ability but controlled by the sword + Outraged Power: whenever she loses control her eyes glow Dark Red which is a sign she lost control of her power and she literally is stronger when like this but shell attack anyone she sees as an enemy even friends
The Beast shook and shook and shook, trying to get this boy off its back. However, it was too late... The beast could already feel the blast of energy coming to its neck. "Damn you..." Was all it said to the boy. It was clear that it had given up, poor thing... It let out a painfully loud and high pitched roar. After that, he was a goner. Th beast's head separated from its body, now dead. A Kishin Egg Soul had appeared where the head had been chopped off.
Scorpio heard a shriek from what sounded like was the crystal beast come from nearby. Did that boy really defeat that thing?!?! Well, he did say he was a the son of a former Death Scythe... She refocused her attention on the battle in front of her. Seeing that Jessica had launched an attack at her. It was too late to dodge... only time to block. Scorpio put her hands--her giant metal hands--in front of her, in hopes to shield herself from this attack. Then a clone of herself appeared behind her, sending more fire at Jessica. She needed to get that boy... He would make a good apprentice... Or, maybe just a good bribe.

Key nodded, as if to say that she heard what Xyeek had thought. Suddenly, she had an idea. She jumped up a little, sending a sound wave from the bottoms of her feet and rode the sound wave towards a group of the big tentacled demons. She quickly slashed at all of them, killing at least two. She jumped down from the sound wave and sent out another from her left hand, which she held out towards another demon. The sound wave sent the demon backwards, but didn't kill it.
((This little post-it is to serve only one purpose. I am informing the collective group here that Lance is KO'd and since that's the case, my posting here will come to a pause; the operative word there being pause. Nerdy Oatmeal's character of Scorpio's gonna be shanghai-ing Lance, as I'm sure some of you have read from our little back-and-forth. In short, until then I'll just be watching the show and wondering why nobody seems interested in the veritable ocean of kishin egg souls that this battle has undoubtedly produced. XD))

After completing their mission, Alphonse would be seen accompanying Kyda through the streets. He had hoped that the mission was going to be more interesting or exciting, but in the end it was a disappointment. Alec did not live up to his reputation as a strong meister, hell, he did not even register on Alphonse's radar. However, Alphonse did find out one thing from this little mission and that is that he and Kyda make quite the pair. He was elated that he had made the right choice. As he listened to Kyda's words, Alphonse was leaning more towards going home, after all, the two were returning from a mission, albeit a rather easy one, but still, after every mission it is logical to rest and regain your stamina. Before he would answer the question, Alphonse stopped as he could sense powerful souls all over the city, as well as an incredible amount of madness. Looking around, Alphonse scratched for the area where the powers were located, they all seemed powerful and Alphonse really wanted to face them. However, as he looked towards Kyda, Alphonse saw the condition she was in and it would prove costly to have her fight in a battle at this moment. Closing his eyes, Alphonse sighed and removed his jacket, placing it around her shoulders, "We will not get involved in these battles. Right now, we will entrust the students with our safety." he told Kyda before waking on. "Lets go home."

Xyeek and Key managed to kill two more demons. They resembled the previous tentacled demon they killed earlier on. The next demon they were fighting was pushed back by a sound wave produced by the young Meister. At this moment the Kishin Hunter began to wear off and the blade started to change back to Xyeek's regular scythe blade. When the transformation was finished, Xyeek's weapon form was back to normal. The boy inhaled and exhaled greatly. "That was some attack" He talked to Key through their thoughts. Hey then, noticed the demon that Key pushed back was getting ready for a second attack. "Careful Key, looks like this demon isn't finished yet." Xyeek said to her. This was the first time his spoke verbally, since transforming into his weapon form.

Ren growled after hearing Lily but then his eyes widened as he watched Lily's attack. He flared his wings and jumped in the air, hoping to dodge the attack but it hit his leg and sent him crashing. Ren groaned and spat out some blood after the impact. "I can't be this weak....damn seal....it's holding me back just to get me killed..." he muttered under his breath.

Shian and Sasha noticed the great crystal beast fall. Next to the soul that was left there an unconscious man. SHian looked around and saw many other demons around. Her and Sasha split up to take them on. Sasha tackled and clawed her way through many of the lesser demons while Shian ran and attack a couple of lesser demons in a flurry of claws.
Cedrick saw Jessica's massive attack. He hoped that it would finish Scorpio off, but he saw a clone retaliating. Cedrick quickly moved to attack the clone. He ran towards the clone arching his path to get her side. When he got close to the clone he released a huge force way hoping to atleast interrupt her attack to let Jessica's go through.
Lily smiled when the blood hit him "seems my accuracy hasnt changed yet" she muttered before the blood that she fired became liquid meaning it disconnected from her sword and whatever else it hit. she began to walk towards him her blade having wind move around it soon engulfing the wind with blue flames which seemed bigger than before, then the flames turned white "if you have a seal on you then break it, because im not gonna hold back with just one element" she said to him, "Tri-Element Slash" she then swung the blade which had a white flame on it at Ren sending a Wave of white energy which had three elements within it fire, wind, and water

Jessica's burst of energy slammed into Scorpio, breaking through her guard and knocking her to the ground. "Alright!" Jessica cheered with a grin as she rebalanced herself. She looked down at Scorpio on the ground, resonance force still surrounding her. "There's more where that came from!" She told Scorpio before changing her arm into a gunblade, thrusting the blade tip downwards and straight towards her stomach.

Kyda continued to walk in silence with her partner. He was probably over thinking it considering what was going on around them. Something in the back of her head felt heavier than before. Kyda felt an urge to release whatever she was feeling. It was familiar to her, back when Alec was her meister. It was a dark evil feeling that made her sick. Then everything went black, black and blue to be precise. It was that thing.
Her body kept walking but mentally she was no longer there. The child kept saying one word over and over again Submit. Submit to madness. Kyda shook her head violently and then clutched her flat stomach. She felt sick, like she had had too many to drink moments ago. Was she sick? With what? A cold? The flu? Some weird virus she contracted from being around Lorelei? The woman was poisonous.
"Alright my lion.." Kyda spoke softly, something unlike her. Her body went from feeling extremely cold to extremely hot. It was like she was home. Something was very wrong. Only then did ky go through every single thing that happened on the mission. Every little detail down to how much dust there was in every little crevice of the castle. No one had touched her, not even the child she so easily got rid of.
Sliding her arms in the arms of the jacket she sighs and leans against Alphonse slightly. It was either home, the hospital, or the academy library so she could read up on what's wrong with her. The feeling in her stomach only worsened. The madness was quite present and was making her sick. The Arabian could only mentally repeat to herself to not throw up in front of Alphonse - or worse, on him. She had already bled on him.

She tended to space out sometimes, even when something incredibly important and of the essence could be happening. "To be honest, I already thought we were." she confessed. She hadn't given much thought to what had haooened in the streets and diner and did what she did a lot: assume. Assuming was going to get her places she would rather not be so she swore to break the habit as soon as possible. "Should we do something about that?" she said gesturing to the somewhat chaotic mess in front of them.

While the two continued to walk together, Alphonse took notice on how odd Kyda's been reacting she didn't seem to be herself. The way she spoke to him was so soft and delicate, but if anyone knew Kyda, then they would know that she spoke loudly and with confidence, she was not the shy and timid person that was walking alongside him. Being her partner, Alphonse could pick up on Kyda's well-being and psyche, so he would always observe her behavior, encase something happened with her that she did not want him to know about. Kyda is the type of person to hide her own problems as to not draw in others unnecessarily. She rarely lets others know what is going on with her. Stopping, Divine stared at Kyda for a few seconds, "Kyda." he called. "Are you alright?" Alphonse asked.
