"Yakuzas? The name seems firmiliar, but care to refresh my memory?"
Ask curiously as she picked up her glass and poured the last contents of the dark green bottle into it. Taking a small sip, she smiled and swirled the liquore around slowly.

The Japanese mob* Ali smirked as he walked over to the bookcase, pulling a book out and opening the door to his own personal armory. He remained in there for some moments before he walked back out again with his shirt in his right hand, he had swapped bodies. Now he was in his original one, which had been enhanced through science somewhat I might add, where the marks of his past were displayed. A few scars but what he wanted to show her was on his back, something he had rarely showed though she had probably noticed them and not asked before. On his back were two tattoo's, red and black bat wings in fact. He showed them now to her.* At the age of fifteen I joined a Yakuza gang called the Gurin-Jui, It was a rare case to accept a non-oriental but the boss took a liking to me as he had heard about my reputation and approached me as I was pounding the crap out of a rival thug leader. I learned to shoot and about the underground world, I did criminal acts and disposed of people that were bad for business. Everyone of us had the exact same wings on our backs, it was our trademark so to speak. But in the end I betrayed them and destroyed the gang because of a single girl. You probably know her.

"Clavi?"
She said with a smile. Truth was that Amara had seen the tattoo's before but hadn't thought enough of them to ask where he aquired them from. She thought that over his long years he may have just felt like getting them, although that was quite unlikely. As she stared at his original body, she smiled as she saw well known scars, making her think back to the 'old days'. She still had the scars that he gave her from their training, one on her back, one on the high of her arm and one on her stomach. They had faded over time, though the impact memories were sure to stay with her forever. Smirking slightly at her thoughts, she waited for him to continue with his story.

Bingo, I kinda had too if I were to be her bodyguard. Yakuza gangs aren't the kinda thing you just quit on the spot, so I had to kill the gang...although I let some friends live.* By now Ali began to put the shirt back on, it felt quite good to be back in his original body. To breathe, feel his heart beat on his chest and not to mention having the unique thing that showed you were a male. Critter had taken a fancy to the other body and were sleeping inside it, so with the parasite thing he had often as a torn cape.* Her dad employed me as he was sure I'd do whatever I could if she were threaten by someone, her Brother Vupi was also someone I protected but of my own will. Somehow his dad didn't like him much, never understood why. But because of my actions I got quite the reputation in the underground world, got a few offers from others who wanted me to work for them, contract killings...in which I did a few off. Then the rest is obvious.

"So you have a fair few outside people at your disposal for information that may cross their ears? That's good. So, Ali, What you're saying is that the killer walked into your home, passing each guard without questioning, wandered straight into your private family quarters and killed your family without any magical assistance whatsoever? Do you think that your guards just left him waltz through? because unless he got to every single one of your guards i can't really see how that would work..."

Unless someone triggered the biohazard alarm, that way the entire castle would be evacuated and when Clavi and the kids were on their way out a Soldier would've told them it was just a drill. Causing them to go back inside and the killer to enter without worry.* It was a theory but one that Ali's instincts reacted upon, and his instincts never failed.*

"But it makes little sense to be honest. Who would want to kill your family? I mean, lets put this into reality step by step. Someone plots to kill your family, okay, fine... they work out everything, get to your guards, and they succeed in killing them. Right... now what? They're faced with being hunted for the rest of their lives by you, they make you grow in power so much that they couldn't even understand the vast amounts you now control, and the chances are they'll die in the end, and you'll dedicate your life to bringing your family back, and if you can't, you'll either accept being alone or take a new wife. It just seems to be a round motive, there's no winning for anyone other than you."

*Ali remained silent for a few moments, thinking hard. Then it struck him, That guy in the bar...those few days before the murder. He looked familiar and now when Ali had been talking and memorizing his past he finally managed to put the pieces together.* Of course...Their deaths were simply revenge, The killer knew that killing me wouldn't cause me as much pain as if he killed my family. It was an act of revenge, to simply hurt me. It is typical for the Zankta gang!* Ali began to pace back and fourth even faster now, growing more and more frustrated by the minute and starting to put in the pieces. The description of the man, the fact he must've had influence enough to gather information about Ali as well as locate him. Bribing someone in Ali's midst, maybe even threatening them. The man in the bar matched the description of the killer, he did behave odd and claimed that they had met before.* Taroth..

"Revenge for what? What did you ever do to him? Or... revenge for slaughtering that gang?"
PostPosted: Tue Aug 07, 2007 10:13 am

I and a few others assaulted their headquarters in Durem, We were armed with automatic weapons and shotguns. The Zankta gang didn't stand a chance as he plowed our way through the gang members all the way up to the top floor, there we entered and shot down everybody in a hurry as the police must've been on the way. Didn't even check to see if everybody were dead as he planted a few bombs and hauled a** before it blew up. The leader of the gang was Mr. Taroth, he had a son. That son survived and now he's gotten revenge.* Ali took a deep breath and began to walk towards the desk again, but then he began to stagger and eventually dropping to his knees just next to it. Starting to sob. It was his fault, had he not done that task then Clavi and the kids would be alive. He had killed them because of his own reckless and sloppy work, this only increased his guilt.*

Amara gasped and moved to his side, placing one arm around his shoulders and looking at him with a careing gaze.
"Ali, don't blame yourself."
Then, after she had spoken, she knew that saying those words would do nothing whatsoever to comfort him, atleast untill he had calmed a little. She simply sat with him as he cried for his families deaths. Amara had never seen a famil love each other as much as Aliator's, and to see that love be stripped from Ali was not a sight she cared for at all, she could almost feel the pain he was enduring by just staring at him, but a thousand times weaker.
"It'll be okay..."

* Ali remained in the same position for a few more moments before he rose up to his feet again, taking a deep breath again and exhaling. Turning towards Amara again.* Sorry, got some dust in my eyes. It's gone now.

Amara stood and sighed, moving away from him a little.
"You don't have to keep up all the barriers with me you know, Ali. I've lost a son, i know it's hard. You don't need to act like it doesn't effect you, anyone would be affected by this type of thing."

I prefer it this way.* Ali spoke back as he turned completely around and sat down on top of his desk, folding his arms in front of his chest afterwards. Starring at her.* Your husband, I assume you've visited him already.

"He's long gone. He's even found a new woman too i hear. It's good that he's moved on, but it would have been nice if he had waited a little longer before doing so... I'm probably just being selfish."
She let out a long sigh and sat back in the seat opposite Ali.
"Why can i never hold down a relationship? Is there something wrong with me? Mmm... you probably shouldn't answer that."
She said with a slight smile as she stared at him. Amara was a little hurt by her husband, but it wasn;t really anything to do with her anymore.
