I made a gun once actually, for a character that is. I think I called it a Gremlin maybe. I think it was a breach loader gun. I actually made it for the tournament, I think Darth, was going to host but never got up off the ground. I actually liked that gun too.

I think I am Gaia's only reputable gunblade user. Or at least in these circles.
Means you fags need to start using them more. We can form a badass order of gunblade knights errant.

Don't get me wrong, I'm with the allowing of guns into GTB, just not gunblades, and was making a point that in D&D guns are overpowered.

Some guns in D&D suck. Some of them are good. D&D has always had the issue of abstract damage which is made worse by guns. Because at a certain point Fighters and the like are literally getting shot in the face like WUT and then pummeling the shooter.
DMG has weird stats though. I think a flintlock rifle is like 3d6 or something, and then they scale up to like laser guns having 5d10 or some crazy s**t like that.

You can use the optional rules to turn armor into DR though.

It's been a -long- time since I looked at the rules, but it's more or less the same system. You just get a set amount of DR based off tiers of armor or something, which you get from sacrificing some AC.
So like Full Plate usually gives you +8 ARM to AC or something like that, and for example you'd get like 6 ARM to AC and then say 2 DR.
It's all give and take. Not sure it's balanced against the system of dodge > soak though.

King Bug Yeah. I don't mind a "beam gun" or something that mimics any other kind of laser someone can do. Vintrict played that guy from that anime with the spirit gun for the longest time.

What ever happened to that group anyway? Team Urameshi seemed to always be hanging around the tournaments doing s**t.

I need to remember to see if Darth still has my tournament entry, because I don't and I kind of want to use that gun for something else, and I can't remember all the specifications on it.
