Sonja sat with them and looked at Eric wondering why didnt he change with a spell. She took some jam placing it on a piece of bread and eating it. She reached for his hand below the table " how did you sleep guys?"

Eric held Sonja's hand and smiled as he ate his breakfast. "This is very good." The twins agreed. He did not want to let them know that he as starting to get the first signs of the illness. He would need to try and conserve his powers by not over using them. He knew the fever was not a good thing. Eric smiles and jokes with the twins, trying to act as if nothing was wrong.

Sonja was watching them and could tell that Eric was hiding something. She finished her breakfast and drunk her medicine then the sun thing. She got up " Eric I have a scar on my back, I'm afraid it is new. Maybe the medicine stopped working...can you come and see it?" she asked and walked to the bathroom.

Eric was concerned "Hmm...that is odd. Maybe we should check with Peter...." He goes to the bathroom with her. The twins finish eating their breakfast.

Sonja locked the door behind them " it was a lie! Unlike you I can tell lies!" she felt his forehead " Eric you have a fever! Why are you trying to hide the fact you are not feeling good from me?" she asked worried. She kissed his cheek " what else are you feeling?" she asked appearing a towel and putting it under the tap letting water ran on it. She started tapping his forehead, cheeks and neck.

Eric frowns when Sonja said she lied. The she fussed over him and he says "I am fine. It is just a little fever. It will pass. The illness makes me weak if I use my powers too much but on Earth I don't really need to use them hardly. Don't worry I will be fine." The twins finish breakfast and play with their mini bears. "I hope Sonja is okay." Yuki says. Aki says "Eric will fix it."

Sonja hugged him and looked up at him "i don't want anything bad to happen to you...do you understand that? can you take care of yourself utnil the cure is ready? can you hold it for mroe?"she asked and kissed his chest wrappign him with her wings

"Don't worry, I am a guard." He puffs up his chest and stands straight. "We are a tough lot." He smiles "Though I do like having someone fuss over me." He kisses her deeply. "Would you be opposed to consummating our relationship before a wedding?"

Sonja widened her eyes " a wedding?!?! Are you serious??" she asked then hugged him kissing him deeply without saying anything more. She pulled away " if we get married you won't be able to live in heaven any more" she said sadly

Eric says "I would like to ask your hand in marriage if we find a cure. I can't ask you before because it would nit be right of me to ask you if I am not going to be alive....well you know. But when we find Kingston I plan to ask you straight off. And when that happens I won't mind living with you and the twins here on earth...because you are my piece of heaven. " He smiles and hugs her. The twin wonder if everything is okay since they were in the bathroom a long time.

Sonha hugged him tight " I love you so much Eric!" she said nuzzling his neck being so happy to have him as hers. She thought of her as his wife. She would be so happy..and the twins would be like their kids and she would have a beautiful baby as her godson...only one cloud was keeping her from having the perfect life...her own baby. She would love to give Eric a baby, but maybe she couldn't have kids " Eric? Do you know if I am...umm ya know...fertile?" she asked looking up at him.

Eric smiles "Of course you are. Why would you think you weren't? " He touched her belly and rubs it then moves his hand down between her legs and rubs his hand on her rose to arouse her. As she respond he says "You seem to be fine...very fine indeed. He moves his hand back up to her chest and lingers his fingers their cupping her ample peaches. "Mmm very fine."

Sonja smiled " to be honest...this is what I used to believe to...natural feelings...and making love because there is love...not one night stands and stuff...maybe that's why I'm still a virgin!" she said raising her knee higher and wrapping it around his waist kissing his jaw and hugging his chest " we need to get out. The twins will be worried..promise me you will be fine!"
