Kaida looked up to her captors and knew that they wouldn't kill her right away if she did somethng stupid. They needed her like a pawn in their own little game to capture the king and take down the queen. Taking down a knight and a rook in all this would just be a bonus. Kaida's captors wanted Shiko alive from the sounds of it... she was the king... the one to be captured. Tomasu was a queen... one of power on the board and a defended of his "king." Shunketsu was a rook of sorts, hitting straight on normally without fail, a great defense for those he cared about. Kaida's captors knew he would have to be delt with quickly. Kaida seemed to them to be a pawn, but in her own eyes she was a knight. She never was a real straight on player. She always seemed to have something up her sleeve even if it didn't seem like it. She may have looked to be a pawn but if need be she was a freak on a leash who could strike at the most interesting angles, but she too would have to go early to ensure their capture of the "king."

Kaida looked up and knowing this could potentially get her hurt she let out a high pitched scream that could be heard for quite a ways. Suzuki had Kaida by the throat in a moment and had her pinned against the tree. "Try not to attract too much attention grasshopper... The less people you attract here the less people I have to kill before I can go home..." She gave Kaida a wicked smile and Kaida stopped screaming.

"My friends will come and you will feel the wrath of those that truely care about their countries." She growled and spit in Suzuki's face. "They will come... and you and your buddies will pay for ever going against your countries... missing nin or not you will fall."

*Shunketsu whispered something in a short ways back, and later, a small voice was at Shiko's ear*

voice: slow and steady wins the race...be sure you're ready before you leap in...*the voice was gone afterwards...and Shunketsu was nowhere in sight behind her...*

*Shunketsu emerged from the bushes from the opposite side of where they came from a few seconds later...*

Shunketsu: you better let her go...or I'll KILL YOU!!!

*Shunketsu revealed his empty eye socket, and once again it filled with chakra to form his Namigan...*

*He rushed headlong towards the woman holding Kaida...taking a kunai out to wield as a weapon...*

::Shiko growled angrily and jumped down from the tree, still hiding in the bushes. She shifted her foot slightly making no sound. Shiko winced in pain and took off her shirt slightly to look at the wound. She sighed quietly as she noticed it started to bleed again. *thinks* I may need to rely on something that I cannot afford to. I cannot exactly control the amount the seal may give me chakra..* Even though Shiko could not sense Tomasu wereabouts, she knew he was somewhere nearby. *thinks* You may hate me, and can't stand me..But, I know you cannot leave a battle...* Shiko smiled slightly. Shiko then walked out of the bushes very slowly, her eyes fixed on the people around her. *thinks* I may not be able to fight, but I can at least take Kaida to safety! *

(ooc.... sorry i was doing this kinda late after not having alot of sleep and being quite tired.)

Kaida looked up as Shun came into the clearing. Suzuki dropped Kaida and turned to meet this new opponent whom she assumed could only be the ninja of the leaf whom seemed to often be with the kazekage. The other two missing nin walked forth to stand beside Suzuki.

"Why not bring out all your little friends... No need to hide here..."The missing nin of the Mist laughed. "You couldn't have come alone..."

Kaida was rested up against the tree and silently was cutting the ropes that kept her captive there while the three were busy facing off with Shunketsu. The ropes on her wrists finally fell away after about a minute worth of sawing at her bonds. She made no immediate quick movements that would give her freedom away but she slowly slid her hands to the tonfas near her hips. Pulling them into place her eyes narrowed and she quietly stood up.

She tried to sound all brave but fear was in her heart as she spoke. "Suzuki Tetsu of the Grass, Haru Hisano of the Mist and Goro Kana of the Sand I here by claim a citizen's arrest. You can stand down now and go back to your country of origin to be processed or if you resist you will be exterminated." Kaida stood tall her hands gripping her weapons. No one could see her visibly shaking but inside she was shaking like a single leaf still atatched to a branch stuck out in the wind. She shifted and changed into a defensive stance. "Make your choice wisely..."

Kaida had a slight blush lingering on her cheeks. She talked big but she had truly never expected for all her friends to show up. Since she was sensitive in nature it was fairly easy for her to notice things like Tomasu's ice shiruken and the fact that Shiko had been near by. Now even Shiko was willing to stand by her. She thought to herself... I have to be strong... for my country and for my friends.

Shunketsu: Arigato...Shiko-chan...leave this to me...

*2 shurikens with wires flew from the trees, wrapping themselves around Shiko, and with a quick yank, she was pulled back into safety for the moment...Shunketsu then stopped dead in his tracks and quickly threw his drawn kunai into the trees...a wire was cut...*

*As wire could be heard being pulled along, a large amount of kunais with wires attached flew from the trees and landed around the 3 missing nin, forming something that looked like a wire cage around them...Shunketsu's clones that he had made before then appeared upon the branches around the area...*

Clones(in unison): Katon: Ryuuka no Jutsu!!(Dragon Fire Technique)
*the clones all, instead of blowing the Ryuuka out like normal nin, became the Ryuuka and dived upon the wires, becoming massive, flaming whirlwinds, rushing towards the ground...*

*the Ryuukas hit the ground all around the 3 nin, but none hit the 3 nin themselves...the fires resulting from these crashes of giant flames created a barrier wall, keeping them inside...*

Shunketsu: Katon: Nenshou Gensou no Jutsu (Burning Illusions)

*the flames of the barrier seemed to increase 3-fold in intensity, causing the inside of the barrier to feel like it was heated to an unbearable amount...upon the flames, faces of death could be seen by those affected by the heat genjutsu...skulls, screaming women, multiple faces - seeming to be burned alive...*

*the barrier had one opening up top...Like a cup(solid all around with nothing on top), it was meant to be left open...This was the cue for a certain someone waiting in the trees to make his move from above...If Tomasu still retained his heat resistance from his bouts against Shunketsu, then the illusions should not affect him as much...*

Tomasu wasnt affected as much as he should have been luckily to Shunketsu's experiences, but it didnt stop him from being affected at all.
He shook it off as best he could before creating the large orb of water he hadnt used in so long, and was able to keep it hanging just high enough over the fire that it wouldnt evaporate.
He leapt from his hiding place and focused as much chakra and water molecules to his lower leg as he could, aiming for the loud mouthed mist traitor "Tsunami Ken!"

As soon as he made contact he released his vague hold on the water allowing it to fall into Shunketsu large opened cup-like setup..

The three nin were not complete idiots as somehow they had survived this long against all the odds that had been stacked up. Few could escape the capture by anbu and by their own clans or villages for so long, but some how this trio had made it and they didn't intend on ending it all here.

Suzuki could feel the heat right away and being more sensitive to that she was the first to launch herself free of the cup-like container of fire and wire that they had been held captive in. She headed after Shiko and Kaida knowing that they were less protected as the main attack was now upon her comrades.

Goro Kana unlike his female companion would stay there to withstand the heat. Upon seeing Tomasu up above him though he used his skills, quickly making the hand seals for a barrier of rock that then formed over him sealing him underground for now with rock and dirt so condensed over him that the heat and water would have quite a hard time penetrating it.

Haru couldn't move fast enough when his comrades abandoned him to his fate of being nearly boiled and steamed alive. He followed the hot water out of the flames but was still burnt severely by the water. Landing upon the ground in a puddle of the still very hot water he curled up holding his face. "You will pay for this..." It took him a moment but with skin burnt from the water and steam he held out his arm pointing at the two. "You will pay...."

::Shiko sensed Kaida's fustration and smiled slightly, she then dropped the barrier around Kaida. Shiko turned her head towards Suzuki and growled.::

"Why the hell did you stupid idiots take Kaida?!"

::Shiko landed on a nearby branch and stood up, in her hand was a shuriken pointing directly at Suzuki.::
