Excellent profile, but please know that the Assassin profession is currently being reworked. Rank benefits are the main change (other than the name of the profession now officially being "Espionage Specialist"), but know that if you wish to change them, your rank benefits are not locked in, they can be changed (especially if you haven't reached the rank for it yet, as is the case with the Chuunin and Jounin benefits)

Sure hope I did this right... I've been working on it for days... Kimiko Fukui
---------------------------------------------------------------- Character Info ----------------------------------------------------------------CharacterName: Kimiko Fukui Nicknames: Kimi Age: 16 Gender: Female Hair Color: Red/Orange Eye Color: Blue Height: 5' 7" Body Type: Average Distinguishing Features: Bright hair and a long, thick scar running down the length of the outside of her right leg. Background Kimi's family was never anything special. No famous ninjas or anything ever came out of her gene pool. Nonetheless, Kimi was proud of her family. She was always closer to her dad as a kid, and hoped that he would train her when it came time for her to start learning to be a ninja, as well. However, that dream was never able to come to fruition. One day, while on a walk with her father, Kimi looked up to find an evil figure leap from the shadows and ambush the pair. Her father didn't have the time to fight back. He was sliced to the point that he couldn't do so much as move, while little five-year-old Kimi was left with just a slice down her leg from being punished by the attacker for trying to crawl away. She awoke in the hospital a day later, to find that her father was gone. Her mother kept the sword of the attacker after he had been hunted and killed as a rogue, and kept the katana in a closet as a reminder of that event. Kimi would also look to it, as encouragement to work hard, and live up to the expectations her father would have set for her. Kimi was a brilliant student once she entered the academy. She had little trouble with any of the lessons, and advanced with ease. Everyone expected her to climb the ranks quickly after graduation. However, when her mother fell ill, Kimi wound up staying home more than anything, and lost a lot of training time because of that. She still went to practice with her teammates, but she didn't have the time to really practice for the Chuunin exams like she wanted to do, because her mother's illness kept getting worse. Year after year went by with no advances made in either of their predicaments, until a cure was discovered and slowly but surely, Kimi was able to nurse her mother back to health. This year, she has every intention to finally advance to the Chuunin rank, since she has fallen so far behind her original plans.

Don't worry, the profile was done correctly. However, please be aware that Shinobi Professions are currently being rewritten, and while genjutsu hasn't been formally addressed yet, it has been decided that the "Improved Chakra Control" bonus will be negated for all professions except medical, once the changes are implemented. In addition, other benefits are subject to change. Bottom Line: Be aware that the Genjutsu Specialist profession you see now may not necessarily be the same one as a month from now. Edit by Hinote: Genjutsu does in fact retain the chakra control benefit after it's revamp. If the alterations are not to your liking after release, you will be allowed a one time profession change.

Upon advisement from a third party and a second examination, two alterations must be made: The "medicinal kit" and katana must be removed. In addition, please keep in mind that a custom weapon is one that has special effects that must be applied for in the custom weapons forum, so a normal weapon like this would not remain in the custom category.

Oh. Okay. ._. It didn't say anything about not being allowed to have that stuff in the profile guide, and it seemed like it said custom weapons were just weapons that needed a specific look or purpose or whatever that you made up on your own, so I assumed that if I just did those simple things, then there wouldn't be a problem... .-. Do you want me to edit those out, or just repost it altogether?

Do you want me to edit those out, or just repost it altogether? It's a minor change, so don't worry about re-posting. For future reference, the inventory is only for things you can attain in game. A sword such as you had is easy enough, but should be placed in the same section as kunai and shuriken. (Swords can be purchased at a village market, as seen in most market's shopping list, or the currency system thread.) The medicinal kit however, is not something we have listed, thus is not something you can add there since it would essentially be a well of possible items you could draw basically anything out of without actually purchasing it. You can thus see why it had to go, whether that was your intent or not. Anywhere in the guild that customs are mentioned, you can automatically assume refers to the customs subforum, where you can find threads for a wide variety of things, among which being weapons and technology. These are the only bits that go under custom equipment, so we can tell at a glance what you have that is "Vanilla" so to say, and what you have custom made.

The guide wasn't entirely clear in that section about what you could and couldn't put, and where everything went and what exactly each subheading meant, so that's where I got confused. Sorry. I really tried to follow the rules, because I have a terrible fear of making people angry at me for doing my profile wrong... D:

We're actually in the process of reworking a lot of the rules to be more comprehensive. The subheadings, for the record, just refer to the sections in the currency list. Items listed as equipment in the list go under equipment on the profile, and the same for supplies. (Greg won't actually get angry at you for a bad profile, hes just naturally scary like that.)

Thinker Sis This profile needs village approval before being completed. All profiles go through here before being posted in village threads. There is no "Village approval". If the village you apply for is full you'll be told when you post for approval. I've already deleted your post in the Konoha profiles, since it does need to be approved here first.

Please include your desired village in your profile. Please also note that Kumogakure is closed, and Sunagakure has already had two genin medics apply to their village.

Fine, but how can I decide about the element? I want to make it the same as the country's name.
