ANOTHER QUESTION!
So I'm looking through all the bloodlines right? And I came across the steel release and how it talks about how it's much stronger than normal metal and basically invulnerable but how much stronger is it exactly? Because an A ranked taijutsu charater can shatter metal pretty much in one hit.

Heyo! I'm not sure which/how many of your questions have been addressed already through PMs and Discord, but someone asked me to take a look at this one.
My day is going well and I hope yours is too! Unless they have a specific ability (for example, Katsuyu's ability that lets her break down into smaller pieces), summons are always their listed size. Evanescently Magnificent Ha did you miss me? I bet not!
1) Hope your day is going good!
2) Do Bijuu sized summons have to be bijuu sized? Or can they adjust this as they enter battle?

So if i am an oni, and i go bloodline class with the bloodbender discipline, can my extra locked formless be alcohol manipulation, so my freely manipulates alcohol hits similar to punches thrown with the hard physical locked formless?
Additionally, ive noticed in several places on the Oni bloodline that it says i gain strength bonuses or an more physically resilient than normal humans, but it does not list actual DRs. Is there some rule that states how much i gain if its not written down or am i just to assume these are vague descriptors for the sake of fluff and dont actually grant bonuses
And finally, if I just go double bloodline, would i be able to trade my genjutsu slots for more custom jutsu slots, so long as those customs are devoted to my bloodline? And how many could I get if i gave up my two chakra natures and just went with Saketon as my element? or could i get more ninjutsu slots [if customs take up ninjutsu slots]

Oh I should have used this thread before. Haha! My bad
Anyways, another question; can I use a PA to materialize my chakra in a way to mimic sand swirling around my body and it be strong enough to blind like sand is in someone's eyes, but not be usable in any sand jutsu or anything and only reach like maybe an extra arm's length from me?

SB5K one more follow-up... not system related How obviously non-human are the oni? like... i know they have horns [which in itself is pretty obviously non-human] but like... are there any other features? skin pigmentation, hair texture, ect? My insight on Oni with art and the guild... Well, definitely, the horns would be visible on your character in some fashion; but I feel we could not limit you on whether or not you wanted your oni character to have a red or blue skin (to whatever degree). I feel the choice is yours in that department. ' Sorry, I can't answer the first three questions: 2) the DR system is new, not brand new, but new enough that they weren't implemented into classes when they could have been. Definitely, someone should get with you on this to discuss a reasonable bonus to strength and maybe, fortitude, so we may pave the way to creating a better Oni clan! Burrtii Oh I should have used this thread before. Haha! My bad Anyways, another question; can I use a PA to materialize my chakra in a way to mimic sand swirling around my body and it be strong enough to blind like sand is in someone's eyes, but not be usable in any sand jutsu or anything and only reach like maybe an extra arm's length from me? This one, I can answer... As you describe it, that actually sounds like something which would not fly as an ordinary materialization. If it is manipulable, if it's has an effect, or something like that the approval mods may either ask you to burn that as Personal attribute. Throwing sand in someone's eyes is a thing somewhere either in genjutsu... If it has anything to do with your character's bloodline ability perhaps, again, likely a personal attribute. So, yeah, you were right to say "PA" ! If you have questions on this item by the time your application rolls out, don't be afraid to slap a note of inquiry about this effect, someone will surely give you a more definite answer!

Only thing sand-related I've got going for me is that I'm applying my character to join Suna. I'll keep this idea on the backburner and try to come up with something else that I'd prefer. biggrin

I was thinking of making a Student character. Is this recommended? I also wondered if I learned all the Maruton as a Student, then took the Bukijutsu(Samurai) class, would that be a good way to have access to the basic 6 Maruton as well as the Samurai specific ones? To show relevance in both his ninjutsu learning and samurai training.

To show relevance in both his ninjutsu learning and samurai training. We wouldn't list being a Student a recommendation per se, but it does give some benefits; • A free PA (must be based around the Academy) upon graduation • A scroll which gives a bonus 10 tech slots • Any coupons (used to give reductions to posts to learn tech, etc.) earned via Academy-Only missions • Energy Pool increases via Academy Training Missions. Once a Genin, your character cannot perform Academy missions nor Academy Trainings. So starting as a Genin gives you a wider access to techniques (Students can ONLY learn E-Rank tech, but NOT Tai, Buki, or Alt.) and missions right off the bat, but putting in the time/effort to roleplay as a student does give long-term and short-term benefits. If you want to start off as a Genin, you will have access to Maruton no matter the elements you choose because everyone has access to Maruton (unless something otherwise states that like a PA or Bloodline etc). You would also have access to any Tai, Buki, and Alt styles your class would give you access to. TLDR Student: Has no class, cannot learn Buki Genin: Choose 1-2 classes, may learn Buki if classes give you access. I hope that clarified some things and gives you an idea of what you would like to start off as!

That did answer some questions, but I had one more. While I know that students don't start with a class, would my maruton be affected by taking Buki(Samurai) when I became a Genin? Because the Samurai discipline starts off with a unique set of 4 maruton, as opposed to the regular 6 that you would get as a standard if you started as a Genin of another class. My question is: would I automatically get any of those Samurai maruton that I didn't already have upon graduation, from choosing that class? Regardless of the ones I already learned while as a student? Or does 'starting' maruton only apply to characters who are Genin from the start, and Students only get what they learned up to that point?

So as a Student you will not auto learn the unique 4 of the Samurai upon graduation from Student to Genin.

I have a couple more questions. - Can I have more info on PA's? Where can I find a guide for them? Also, will I be able to take 2 to start, as a Student? - It says that Students don't have access to Reductions of any kind. But what counts as a Reduction? Would I have access to my bloodline ability to learn certain elemental jutsu 1 post faster?

A reduction is any bonus that reduces the time it takes to learn a technique/complete a mission. Your Bloodline ability will not work until you graduate into a Genin.

Okay, so by that same logic, any PA I took that granted a reduction, would also not be useable until Genin?
