When shiroi would opened the scroll, a blinding flash would occur, one she would recognize as a genjutsu. This was not, however, a trick or a trap as she would easily remember the sight of the Bat sage. He spoke to her, aiming to calm her with his words and explain what had happened.

“Hello Shiroi. You know me as the Bat sage, but my real name is Brock Vasner, Sanshi’s uncle. I couldn’t help but see your skills in genjutsu, and figured you would be best to pass my legacy onto. A legacy that was constructed to destroy the village, that will now be used to save it. You see, I too am a Genjutsu user. It was this reason Jigsaw, even with his Sakkakugan was unable to lay me under his command and control. During the Time in Rouran, I noticed your skills and your DNA similar to Jigsaw, showing you have the same exemplary skills that he did. I will now take them a step further, giving you my own gift and prowess.

While Jigsaw created the “Inception” Genjutsu, designed to plant an idea in the mind of an opponent, my skills went an entirely different rout. This skill is called “Animus.” The genjutsu is one you actually place on yourself, allowing you to go back and actually re experience a memory, it be your own or one you acquired through various methods. Because the brain is mostly subconscious, this is a method to go back and uncover details consciously that would otherwise be lost. Use this to help keep suna safe from all of her enemies, and obtain information about the other villages and your enemies to best keep you all protected. I trust this technique to you now, so please put it to good use.

With this power I give you, I ask of one thing: Take care of Sanshi. I know he is a powerful ninja, one worthy of the title Sannin and a true flashback to his father, but he will stretch himself too far. Like his father, while other people suffer from carrying too little, they suffer from caring too much. He sees you like his daughter, and a way to remedy his mistakes with Akane, which gives you perfect access to him. Keep him safe, and train hard. Be a voice of reason, and kindness in his heart when he needs it. At times, you may even have to hinder his ability to go do things, less he overextends himself…and weakens himself beyond the point of repair. Please, if you would watch over him, I would forever be in your debt.

Description:Most of the brain is subconscious, meaning people know more then even they know. This is a method to extract that locked away, lost, and hidden information. the user, when experiencing a memory or obtaining information from a another source casts a genjutsu upon themselves. This jutsu allows them to actually go back and re-experience the events, to actually walk around as a form of “ghost” in the area to interact with the environment and observe the happenings from multiple different angles. All of the various senses can be used during the genjutsu, accessing the subconscious information about the events, but the memory is limited by the sensory range of said individual as one cannot know beyond what they could experience. When used on yourself, one could perform this genjutsu in a brief moment while feeling like they spent an eternity investigating the memory by simply accessing the unconscious part of the brain. When used on another’s memory/mind one most continue to hold the concentration, and the investigation take place in real time due to the complexity of searching ones brain.
