Tsu's response to Keanu's question was to peep rather loudly and make a hop for his head, his wings fluttering as he made the jump. He liked to have vantage points - and being smaller made that incredibly easy after all.

Kiro smiled a little at Kami, quickly shaking his feeling of nervousness. She seemed friendly. "I've been asked to collect information on the Aerandir. Just simple things like height, weight, age and so on." Having heard Keanu state his name to Tsu, Kiro continued, "I just wondered if I could start with Keanu? If that's okay with you both?" He glanced across at Keanu as he asked the question, wanting to include the child in his question.

"That's great!" Kiro was now smiling even more enthusiastically - perhaps even grinning? "Just let me get some things then."

The neko-jin disappeared for a few moments, and then returned with his notebook, a ruler and a pencil. He sat at a table and glanced over Anthony's letter, which he'd also brought. He then proceeded to split the page up into a table, pausing to make sure he had spaces for everything he'd been asked to note down.

"Okay..." he murmured to himself. "Tape measure and scales..." He then stood up, by now with Tsukai following him everywhere he went, and went to one of the cupboards. He had to rifle through one or two to find what he needed: a tape measure and a set of 'bathroom-looking' scales that had obviously seen better days. They looked like they'd probably measure well though. To test them he placed them on the floor and stood on them, quickly checking. Then he stepped off them again. Assuming he hadn't put on too much weight, they looked to be accurate.

"All right," he said finally. He glanced to Keanu, smiling briefly at Kami before speaking. "Which animals does Keanu borrow from, how old is he, and how would you describe his personality?"

"Wow, cooking huh?" Kiro grinned as he sat down in front of Keanu, writing down what Kami had told him. He also made another column for jobs. It would be something else to present at the end of the day.

"All right Keanu," he said, putting the notebook down and picking up the tape measure. "I want you to stand up straight and tall for me, okay?"

Tsukai occupied himself during this period by hopping around and peeping loudly. It wasn't often Kiro got so wrapped up in what he was doing - but Tsu intended to put a stop to that! Peeping loudly he hopped towards Kami, then taking a fluttering leap into her hair and nestling there with a triumphant "peeeep!"

Keanu nodded, giggling a little to himself. He'd learned some good recipies since Kami had started teaching him, though he was far from being an experienced cook. Looking up to pay attention to Kiro, he nodded, and stood as straight and tall as he could, chin held up in his effort. "Like this?"

Kami was a bit startled at first, and laughed, reaching up to pluck the little gryphon from her hair to hold him in her hands. He was so adorable, and she petted him gently. "Aren't you a cutie! What animals does he have in him?" she asked, curious as to what sort of bird was in the mix.

Keanu giggled, blushing a bit bashfully, and stepped onto one of the scales ashe was told, carefully positioning himself in the middle. "What do these do?" he asked, curious. He'd never once been weighed before, and had had little contact with any sort of technology, besides Kami's CD player, which had run out of batteries weeks ago.

Kami laughed softly, and held the little creature close, but lightly, in case he wanted to get down. "What an interesting combination." she chuckled at the sarcasm. "He must be quite the handful. Keanu was too when he was this young." she said, stroking Tsukai's soft fur.

Keanu looked down at the numbers wide-eyed. "Oooh..." he said in understanding, wondering how the scale worked. He stepped down, and padded back over to Kami, peering up at Tsukai with a smile.

Kami laughed. "Keanu's hid from me once or twice, and yeah, it's terrifying." she chuckled, and ruffled the little badger-hawk's hair. She frowned a little as the last question was asked, and looked thoughtful. "He was an excellent flyer as a gryphon...but you know, I don't think they're at all capable of flight when they're this little....his wings just aren't proportionate." she said, observing them for a moment. Keanu's wings really did seem too small to support him in flight...

Kami chuckled. "It's n easy mistake. One would think they would be able to fly, but they can't. It's probably better, that way..."

"I wanna fly again!" Keanu pouted, remembering his gryphon days. How he missed zooming about through the air, dive bombing kami when she least expected it.

Another day, another space of time spent stalking the Centre. Absently, Kiro flicked through a textbook, researching another of his private projects. Tsukai was flitting about with Hope who had sauntered out of the door behind them, and contented herself with a game of tag with the small Aerandir.

Kiro flicked towards the back of his notebook, having filled in some of his table himself - where things were obvious and he remembered them. Idly he wondered who he was going to get to 'harrass' next.
