Jet leaned down to Tomas's level. " hey little guy I'm not scary" jet said and made a puppy out of fire, then a fish, then a clown.

Tomas looked at him, his eyes wide for a moment. "S-So...your not gonna hurt m-mommy or me...?" He whispered slightly, remembering the last time a firebender came to their house, causing tears to form around the 5-year-old's eyes.
