The kid could be an exception for multiple reasons though, since he was torn from his body and stuffed in a bird and whatnot. That's a special case, if I've ever seen one. XD Tonight is the night we become Great! The Stars are what gave us away!

what i don't understand, is that since the kid was a parakeet, why did he turn into a boy when he died? why wasn't there a parakeet ghost?
my character could actually be a fly.

Tonight is the night we become great!The Stars will show us the way! The boy was originally a human though. He was torn from his body and that sadistic hollow put him in that bird's body, which is why the boy hadn't turned into a hollow.
From what I've read, so long as a spirit inhabits a vessel, the chain won't devour itself (or something like that). Animals are generally considered to be soulless in some religion, thus a human soul may be forced into an animal vessel. Which, by the way, completely derails one of those Kon filler episodes with the dog hollow.

He was a chaotic neutral arrancar, whom embodied two sins. Greed and betrayal. Essentially, he was the sneakiest mofo about who would sell info to anyone and everyone. Question was though... Was he trying to get rid of ya? Or was it good stuff? XD

Tonight is the night we become great!The Stars will show us the way! He was only a leviathan as a hollow of sorts, when he evolved further up the chain it was far less serpentine. The image has long since been replaced, but this was his original set up. Tonight is the night we become Great! The Stars are what gave us away!
