We are the swift... We are the strong...  Saltkit[Saltkit jumped excitedly at the mention of elders.]
"Yeah! Let's gor visit Redpoppy!" [Saltkit's brother may be fond of Rosewind but Saltit had always love to talk to Redpoppy.]
[Saltkit nudged Ghostkit before padding off toward the elder's den. Once inside she called out quietly.]
"Redpoppy. Are you awake?" We are and always will be... Breezeclan...

"Redpoppy....?" [Saltkit called again, dragging out the last syllable more then necessary. She followed Ghostkit to the good spot and plopped down, motioning with her head for him to do the same.] We are and always will be... Breezeclan...

(Well if it helps, you can timeskip a little and say that Cometstream finished Icepaw's teaching and she's a full medicine cat. About the Dicekit thing, I vote not. She'll be fine for a little bit probably.)

(( ...CAN ANYONE GIVE ME A THOUROUGH SUMMARY ON WHAT IN STARCLAN'S NAME HAPPENED?? DDl I've been a little busy these past couple days (helping out with stuff at school/cramming for more finals/major family issues) so can anyone be kind enough to tell me not only what'd happened, but also what has been planned out for the future of the Clan? (By that, I mean like how people are all pairing their cats and planning who wants to be who's mentor and such and such) OTL
Alllllll I know right at this moment is that Galespirit is now Galestar because of the time-skip, Rosewind and Dewburst have apprentices, Salkit and Pepperkit have been planned to be assigned to Jaywing and Eaglewind, and there's a Gathering and Dusky's going to it (finally, lulz). Fill me in if I've missed anything. > <
Buuuuuuut, just a heads-up for everyone, nobody was supposed to instantly know that Owltalon was gone. Should've assumed that he was out hunting/patrolling, then somehow start to be suspicious as to why he hasn't been back to camp in days....Has Rosewind even noticed, Princess? o__O;;
And Timber, would it be, er, too soon to suggest Duskpaw's warrior ceremony? Technically she would be kinda old enough, having been mentored since before I created her. xD But, I could always say that while the journey was taking place, she was tagging along with other mentors, play-fighting with other apprentices, hunting and training out in the moors on her own. : D Speaking of which, what do you think you would name her? Just curious. ^ ^

Jaywing and Eaglewind are fighting over Mapleleaf, who kinda doesn't like either of em :c
Ghostkit and Saltkit are trying to get Redpoppy to tell them about Galestar when he was little. : D
You're actually pretty caught up otherwise.
Oh, and I Galestar plans to assess Duskpaw after the gathering. You know...like they do in the books...but nobodyeverdoesthathere....))

(( I are RPin as Redpoppy to 'splain Galestar's story. Is this alright? D: I just feel like it...:I ))
[Redpoppy groaned and glanced over at the kits, slightly annoyed.]
He said gruffly, "Alright, alright, I'll tell you his story."
[He heaved himself up onto his haunches and shook his faded, dusty brown pelt.]
"Galestar was quite a card when we found him, he was," Redpoppy said teasingly. "A warrior found him in a bird's nest with a giant eagle wing. Frantically, he called out, 'What're you doing up there, little one?! I'll help you down!'
So he tried, but Galestar-or Galekit, I should say- refused. Galekit said, 'No, you can't take me- mommy will be worried if I leave!'
And the warrior said, 'Well, who's your mommy?'
Galekit grinned and said, 'She's my mommy.'
And at that very moment, the biggest eagle any of you could've seen in your entire life came flapping over to the nest. She screamed at the poor warrior for trying to eat her 'chick' as she called Galekit, and the warrior fled as fast as his paws could take him.
He ran home to tell us, and of course we didn't believe him. The next day, Willowstar went back to the same tree and saw Galekit, still in the nest, playing with the eagle feather. That time, she was able to convince him to get out of the tree by telling him the ways of warriors in the Clans. Galekit was very interested, and followed her back to camp.
The mother eagle came the next day, demanding Galekit be returned, but Galekit convinced her that he wanted to live with the cats. She left, but comes by every once in a while to see how he's doing.
Of course, we thought it was pretty neat that the giant bird had decided to raise him instead of eating him. It made him very special. The only problem was, Galespirit thought he could fly. He would jump from tall things, attempting to fly, and fall flat on his face! There were many a time he would be in Berryblaze's den, with a broken paw or sprained foot.
As he got older, he proved to be a worthy warrior. I mentored him, you know. He was such an energetic young cat! He also has this strange power where he can feel what others are feeling, and sometimes involuntarily shares dreams with others. He also has hearing sharper than the p***k of a thorn!
I am so proud to see him as the leader of our Clan. He's come a long way, and he hasn't attempted to fly again for some time..."
[Redpoppy snorted and rolled his aching shoulders.]
"Is there anything else you want to know?" the elder asked, sniffing.
[Even though he was tired, Redpoppy loved to talk.]

[Looking to Redpoppy, Saltkit listened intently. Could clan leaders only be special like Galestar?]
"Eaglewind! Eaglewind!" [Saltkit chanted her agreement. Subtly she inched closer to Ghostkit before laying her head atop her paws.] We are and always will be... Breezeclan...
