((Thank you Priest. I'm glad to hear that. We're gonna head towards there soon))
Kayla blanched and almost dropped the syringe when her pulled the knife on her. She brought her hands up to cover her head reflexively and breathed a sigh of relief when he apologized.
"Holy s**t Reaper...Well at least I know no Acids are gonna get you in your sleep. How are you doing?" She hides the vial, and her excitement at her newest discovery, intent on finding out his current state of well-being before she proceeded.

He sees her try and hide something behind herself, but he couldn't tell what it was. "I guess I am doing as good as anyone that just became infected would be. Mostly just couldn't sleep that well." He said as he stretched some. "So how is the research coming along?" He asked her.

"Amazing!" She almost yelled. "Sorry," she blushed at her over-enthuisiastic reply. "I found something."
She wiped the vial of pinkish fluids out from behind her back and announced "Tah-dah! I created a stasis!!" in a sing-song voice.

"Well from your enthusiasm, I am gonna guess that is a very good thing." He said while looking at the vial of strange fluid.

"Oh it is, now roll up your sleeve." She started to explain as he rolled up his sleeve and she prepped a shot of the concoction. "There was a ton of original research left laying around, and with it I was able to create a stasis. Basically, it will stop the mutation and slow the spread of your virus. I've tested it time and again on your blood samples and it's worked everytime."

"That sounds good. As long as this doesn't hinder my fighting or anything. Or I grow some sort of crazy extra limb or something." He says with a laugh.

"Well hopefully that's not an issue." She smiles as she squeezes the syringe into his arm. There was no immediate reaction and she started to examine his feet and hand. They were not looking well at all and yet she knew that it could look worse.
"Now, I don't know how long this will last, but I'm bringing everything with me...you know what we have to do right?" ((What I PM'ed you about))

"Awesome." She smiled before her face fell. She started to pack up everything she had worked on and some supplies, creating a very large back pack. "First we need to get back to the asylum...which means getting through that hallway, through the room of swarming acids, out of the building and back to the Asylum in a car with no gas..." She realized then that they really had not thought this through.
"Also, all of these notes say something about Vault 165...if we can get there, can we check it out?"

"Of course we can check it out."
"I wouldn't worry too much about the acids." "I think I can handle them." He says with a grin.

"Okay..." Kayla said warily. She was so worried about him. No way could his feet handle another trip along the Acid remains. "What about we used this wheelie chair instead. We can push off the walls?" She suggested, while pointing towards the chair he had slept on. It was a large chair and could easily hold them both.
((I plan to find my new character in Vault 165. He's been living there for several months. Then I will kill him. twisted ))

((Damn! You made a character just to have him killed by you. That is evil! I love it! twisted ))
"I don't think it would hold up long enough. It would only last about 3 seconds. You have yet to feel how strong that acid is. I can be fine with another walk through it. I'm getting used to it."
"When you are ready we can go." He says to her with a smile.

((We'll either I will kill him or an Acids will, I can't decide yet. wink ))

He picks her up. "Well running hurts my feet even worse, since it splatters the acid onto the rest of my legs. If I walk I can also step in the least acidic places. Don't worry I will be fine. I am worried about you, not me." He says as he moves across to the door.
