Nobody smiled, he was glad he was being missed but seeing Maria was not carrying the bear he felt a little uneasy, he did not like that little thing but he disliked the cards even more so if the little fellow could provide some kind of protection that would make him feel better "Why hello there ma amour did you miss me?" He said smiling as he closed his eyes and gave Maria a peek on the cheek.

Marcie chuckled, "I can make you a new one if you find even one imperfection on it after I am done, I have a couture shop after all"she took the jacket with care non the less and headed back to her room, before entering however she looked back and winked at him "You can come supervise if you like though" Marcie didn't wait for an answer, whether he followed or not didn't really concern her.

She's an interesting one. Paranoid, Ace followed Marcie into her room. His compulsive obsessions on little things constantly kept him on edge.
He leaned against a wall, observing how she ironed with care.
"Are you like the mother figure among those guests of yours?" Ace asked with a smile. "You are very hospitable and you do everything with care."
Ace couldn't remember his mother, but that didn't vex him. He had heard from others what mothers were typically like; caring, responsible, hospitable women bearing with them unconditional love.

Nobody chukcled, so that was the reason for the bear's absence well, it was no excuse for leaving the laidy unwatched though "Are you taking him on our little trip?" He asked out of curiosity, he didn't like the bear but it could still be useful.

Marcie snickered a little "motherly figure? Well, I've been told I can be overprotective at times, but I have some of a bipolar personality so you better stay on my good side, I really don't care much who comes and goes around here, they are all welcomed so long as they don't cause troubles" Marcie smiled while not really looking at Ace, more focused on the task on hand, despite her offer it wouldn't do to burn his cloths, it was a rather nice fabric after all.

"I see," Ace responded, crossing his arms and tapping them rhythmically.
"I am rather surprised, actually, that I'm on your 'good' side," he continued. "I don't get pleasant looks when I pass people. Perhaps it's because..." Ace lowered his head, his lips twisting into a smirk, "The Ace of Spades is a symbol of death and misfortune."
He raised his head, looking to see if she hadn't burned his jacket. "Could that be it? Or are they merely afraid of my status?"

"Well I am sure I can manage" Nobody said taking Maria's face in his hands and looking at her lovingly "For you I can endure anything, besides, I can understand his jealousy, I am not going to give in just because of that though" he said getting to his tiptoes to place a kiss on Maria's forehead "Maybe I should talk to him before though, to clarify some things" he finished letting go of Maria's face and a smirk on his lips.
