Hi, I'm Emi. And, I'm new here!
I am 13 years old (yeah....I think i'm the youngest here >.>).
I live in Michigan.
I've been into Dir en grey for about 2 or 3 years.
I went to Dir en grey live on Feb. 12th this year! It was so awesome! And, Toshiya pointed to me, and smiled at me! It so made my day!
I was looking at cosplay, and I found someone who was cosplaying as Kyo. And, I thought it looked pretty. So, I looked up the band and their music. So, thats how I found Dir en grey. They were my first J-rock band.
I am very inspired by Dir en grey. Kyo's lyrics are so powerful. And how he performs at lives is very amazing. All of the members inspire me for different reasons. Dir en grey is a perfect band. The vocals, lyrics, music, etc. are perfect!
My first songs were Cage, and Umbrella.
My Favorite songs are Mushi, Clever Sleazoid, Greif, Obscure, Amber, -ZAN-, MASK, ~Saku~, I'll, Higeki wa Mabuta wo Oroshita Yasashiki Utsu, Machiavellism, Garden, The IIID Empire, Marmalade Chainsaw, Asunaki Koufuku, Koenaki Asu and so many more.
My favorite album is Vulgar.
My favorite member is Kyo. He amazes me so much. His lyrics are beautiful. I don't even understand japanese and sometimes they make me cry. He can look totally awesome while being covered in blood. And, somehow he looks cute like that too. I don't know why....but, he does.

..I've been a fan of Diru's for ,say, three years now and it was a boring tale of internet+boredom=LURKING that led me straight into their clutches! ...And I acctually listned to them for months before I looked them up. -The first thing I saw eith them was the saku pv. Kyo scared me xp

Hello! I'm Emily.
I live in Indiana.
I'm a new fan of Dir en grey. About three weeks ago I started listening to them, because I kept hearing about them and seeing pictures of them on the internet everywhere!! So I decided to check them out! Now Dir en grey is one of my favorite bands!
My favorite songs? That's hard. Let me just say that I haven't heard a song by them that I haven't liked!
My favorite album is Vulgar. (I just ordered that on amazon! YAY!)
Favorite member? I like them all! But especially Kyo!

*waves* I'm Sacha, I'm 20, from New Mexico. I've known about Dir en grey since I was 13, (that's 7 going on 8 years), and have loved Kaoru from day one. I love the whole band of course, though not as a fangirl, not as a creepy stalker, not as an elitist [BLEEP]. Just don't lump me in those groups and we're good. Don't ask me to pick a favorite song, or album, or look/style, I'll just start rambling for ages and ages. heart heart heart

Hajimemashite, Nesi-chan desu m(_ _)m I'm from the Philippines!! ^_^ Dir en grey is one of my most favorite bands. It was through them that I got to know and appreciate Visual Kei. Is it weird for me to like them? Because I really don't dress up like Goths, I don't even wear make-up. I'm pretty ordinary... hehe sweatdrop I just like to adore them and listen to their unique music. Oh, my fave song by the way is Cage, it's also my first Diru song. ^_^ sore dake desu... so without further ado, yoroshiku onegaishimasu!

I've loved Dir en grey for 2 years now...I was actually looking for Korean artists when I found Diru, which was funny because it was pop artists and Obscure popped up...it kinda scared me, but when I watched some other videos I loved them to death!

hi. I'm Amanda and I totally did not mean to spell strawberry wrong. I have a habit of making my Guild Wars character's names foods (I have Straw Beree Yo Gurt, for example) and I think it was paritally a result of that.0.o haha. I'm 18. I'm from Massachusetts though I wish I was from Europe 0.o haha. I've liked Dir En Grey for about a year now.. if I had to pick a favorite it would be Karou, followed by Die.. because I'm a guitar geek. The first time I heard Dir En Grey was actually on Headbanger's ball on MTV2 >.< and after seeing Saku I looked them up and fell in love. My favorite song changes too much for me to pick one, and same with favorite album.

well i'm tori. i love makeing new friends. i got into Diru about a month ago bcause of my friend. my favorite member is Die he's so cute and nice. i love the song child prey because of the back up. well i hope to make new friends who love diru as much as i do

I got into Diru because of a couple friends of mine; Kenji and Yaruki. Kenji is completely obsessed with Kyo.. as am I ^^ He is the sexiest man alive afterall.

it's hard to say when I got into diru, you could count when I first saw them on the tv some 6 years ago or since I got into them which was only 4 years ago.

I'm Colin, and I am a Dir en Grey Addict...(First step is to admit I have a problem...wait..this isn't a Problem!)
I am 16 years old
I live in New York.
I've been Listening to Dir en grey For....I think 3 years now.
Dir en grey was my first J-rock band hwever I was later introduced to some others by a friend.
Kyo's lyrics are powerful. They have a typr of awsome Powetry ti them, something that I can enjoy to listen to, Yeah so what if some of his songs are about killing and abuse and possible rape and wierd f*cked up things like that, It's awsome and thats all that matters!.
My first song was Child Prey, and it is still my all time favorite song by Dir en Grey.
My Favorite songs are Child Prey, Ain't Afraid to Die. Greif, Obscure, Amber, ~Saku~, Higeki wa Mabuta wo Oroshita Yasashiki Utsu, Machiavellism, Jesus Christ R'n'R, Karasu and...well pretty much every song ever done by them.
My favorite album is Withering to Death.
My favorite member is Kyo. Due to the things I stated about the lyrics above and his high ebergy performances when live or even just for thier Music video shoots. He has a great poetic mind, however messed up it may seem to others. His ability to create moans, grunts and other noises while singin at whim is awsome. While he is my favorite out of everyone in the band, I like the band as a whole, everyone has thier part to play and all together it creates an awsome sound.
I am learing Japanese, and writeing my own songs for my own band. I hope that someday I will be able to see Dir en Grey in concert, I have to pick up the pase and bu those damned Ticket!

My name is Neka. I'm 18, live in GA, USA.
I like Diru because their music once allowed me to feel emotions again when I'd closed my heart off from everything. Also, Kyo has the voice of a thousand music gods, and the riffs they play...like...captivate my soul like nothing else. Also, Kyo is hilarious, cuz he thinks he's scary....Also, because they have song for everyone of my moods, and each new album is a a pleasant surprise. I've liked every singel one of the songs since MISSA.

Member: Kyo....because he has voices.
....Obscure is my favourite right now anywya. Before, it was Yoka, Then Ain't Afraid to Die, then Dead Tree....etc. I like ALL the songs.
Note: It pisses me off that some people in the world only like them b/c they're 'hot' or whatever...(not anyone on this thread that I saw while skimming, just in gnereal) and...I never even saw them till weeks after hearing their music...so...I know I can't be faking it like that. XD
Them and Deadman are the only Jrock I really pay attention to.
