"I have studdied sword fighting before, I take the old knight stances to my liking," Cid replied to kris. He moved to her table so he could hear her better and brought his books with him. "I have some experience with a double sided sword, I can summon a flamed one when needed with my pyro ability aswell" he added and he sat down in front of her. "You dont mind if I sit hear do you?" he asked her before scooting his seat up to the table. He also looked back at the other girl sitting by herself and asked her across the way "how are you and would you like to join us?"

Alef looked up at hearing something directed towards her. Smiling a little, she got up and headed over to their table. "I'm doing well, and you?" She asked, asking not only the boy sitting there, but it was aimed towards the girl as well. "I would love to join you, that is if you'll have me..." She said pulling up a chair by the girl sitting there. A friendly smile never left her face, she had put the little incident of earlier behind her. Such was her persona. She had really changed a lot, but this was who she was. She always seemed calm, and easy to get along with. It was nothing, she just wanted to make people comfortable, and tried to make the atmosphere enjoyable when she could manage.

'I'm not as good as I'd like to be. I'm still new here, haven't met very many people yet besides you two.' she said to Alef, smiling, the returning to her notetaking. It's so nice to have friendly company for once. I don't think I've ever met a werewolf that's been friendly, they just want a bite of you, or more. If this friendship goes on 'till I can trust them, maybe I'll show them the "fuzzy ears" She suddenly checks her wristwatch. 'Aw man, time to pack up. It was nice meeting you Cid, and you two,' she said to the girl, 'even if I didn't catch your name.' she said with a wry smile. Kris picks up her bag and notepad then gets up, pushs her chair in, re-stacks the books she took out, and left the Library with a last wave and kind smile.

He waved at Kris as she left and said "it was nice meeting you Kris, I hope our paths may cross again some time soon" He turned his attention to Alef and spoke, "It is a pleasure to meet you aswell, So what intrests do you have here Alef?" He made fire rush from his fingertips to his shoulders and dissapear for sheer amusement. "I am glad I can at least talk to someone other than myself" he said to Alef with a smile on his face. He then replied to her question, "I came here to catch up on my latin enscriptions and cast better flame crafts. and yourself?"

"Yes its fire, I was adopted by alchemists who engineired my carpathian blood so that I may walk in sunlight, and also giving me the gift of fire to weild at my disposal" he replied. He stopped the fire show, "sorry about that I sometimes use it without knowing or I can get too happy and over use it to play around" he said as he scratched the back of his head. "I try not too, do you know of my race, the Carpathians?" he asked her curiously. Its seemed that no one did, or really cared but he felt he needed to know. He is always wondering if anyone would know of his race or if they would mistake them for vampiric or werewolf when they only had those characteristics instead.

"Thats okay no one does it seems. My people are what you would call vampiric, we have to drink blood at lest once a day. Our abilities include changing into a wolf and raven with strength to boot and speed when needed. We cant live in sunlight like a vampire" he explained to Alef. "I am the last remaining surviver of my people for as far as I know. My people were slaughtered by humans who didnt want us alive in the carpathian mountains, our home, so I fled being only a child. My foster parents saw my blood gifts and helped me to be able to live in sunlight with no harm and hold back my thurst to once a month. They have been very helpful." he ended as he remembered what had happened. "But they couldn't help me control my anger and were burnt from the rage within me as my fire consumed them." he said as he kept his head down. "I am nothing but a loner who has no where to go," he said half laughingly.

"No I dont want to be a loner anymore and I have only seemed to make three today, counting you, I think that's pretty good it being my second day here and all" he said as he raised his head up. "And thanks for trying to comfort me, I have sworn an oath on their graves that I would repent by doing what is right in my heart." he smiled remembering it as he stood over their graves on that rainy day that seemed to run like the tears down his face. He sighed thinking about it and sat up. "I guess what's done is done and I cant change that, I can only reprent for what I have done" he said to Alef.
