Nathan bowed playfully. "Yes, my liege. Would you like me to specially go out for a claret? Oh, and perhaps you would prefer I wash the vegetables in premium bottled water, sir?" he drawled, hiding a smirk by keeping his head lowered.

The Angel lifted his head. "Ahh. But what if the Master wanted his Slave to misbehave? What if the Master needed an excuse to punish his 'Slave' - with cuddles and such?" Nathan wondered aloud, moving to start washing the vegetables in the sink.

"You don't punish a slave with hugs," Mao replied. "You punish them by chaining them up and whipping them. You take pleasure out of watching them beg you to let them go and to stop hurting them. Then when you feel like the slave has had enough you take them to your bed." Mao explained this as if there was nothing strange about the whole thing.

Mao smiled and kissed the other a bit roughly. "But I enjoy the pain. I feel alive when I'm suffering. In this world, it's the only reminder I have." Mao then realized that what he was saying to Nathan could upset him so he backed away slowly. "I'm not forcing anything on you. I'm sorry."

Nathan grabbed his Demon and kissed Mao just as roughly as the Demon had kissed him, arms wound tightly around Mao' back. When he broke the kiss, he made sure Mao kept eye-contact with him.
"Mao, if you need me to then I promise I'll try. Though if I can find a different, equally effective way of making you suffer, then I'll try that too."
He took his Demon's face into his hands. "Whatever you need, ok?" he whispered, repeating the rough kiss for a second time.

Nathan didn't respond as he went back to washing the vegetables. Once he got out the chopping board and knife, he started making them into smaller, even pieces whilst the oven warmed up.
"I suppose I could deprive you of your pain to encourage the eating of vegetables..." he mused, teasing.

Nathan rolled his eyes. "You'll think better of that statement, sweetie. I promise..."
Once he was finished he put them in a dish with oil around and over them, then into the oven to roast.
"Now, what do you want me to do?"

The Angel kissed Mao's cheek. "Right then: I'll see you in ten minutes, okay? I'm just going to your room, if that's alright?"
Without waiting for an answer he headed for his Demon's room to see what he could find there...
