I'm going to create a little league team in his honor. Their mascot will be a 6 ft plus tall leprecaun with red hair. They will be known as the Fighting Conans.

I've got a couple other team names too. Since I live in Oklahoma and offensive Native American stereotypes are always targets (Redskins, Braves, Indians). I came up with two new team mascots, the Fighting Honkies and the Fighting Crackers.

See over here you're never really referred to as a cracker or anything else derogatory (that I know of o.e) , well, mainly because where I live right now, the black population is SUCH a minority, to see one in a day you're like -"Oh- heyyyy!!!!!!"

But back when I lived in Halifax it was basically used to disapprove of you if you were doing something either
-Painfully White Reference seconds 56-59.
or
-slightly racist a.k.a. being an idiot.

luckily I managed to avoid being either in front of anyone who could legitimately use it. XD

But yeah I still never heard 'honkies' EVER, though 'Wigger' was around.
Though again never heard by me personally in anything other than a definition type experience.

Honkie is a rather archaic derogatory term. It fell out of favor in the early eighties..
