Rin's body trembled lightly as she felt his hand run across her fur. Like an abandoned pet that forgot what it was like to be loved, she purred loudly as the feel of his touch, a soft moan escaping her lips that made her blush further. She loved being so close to someone, so close to him, it made her feel like less of a creature, more like, a woman.
Then suddenly, a thought occured to her that made her pull back quickly. The monster, it was still there, it still existed and she had a job to do. She was destined to die, and this was only going to make it worse.
"Cheshire... I..." She whispered, unsure of how to explain her thoughts at the moment. She desperately wanted to stay with him, to love him, to pet him, but if she allowed herself to stop her destiny now, the land they lived in would crumble. "I can't do this... You know that."

Cheshire smiled, and this is where he'd show off his memory. "You said something earlier. Something that Wondeland used to rule by. Nothing is what it seems. Everything it is, it isn't, and everything it isn't it is," he repeated calmly, softly. His smile never left his face, though it was a soft one. "Your monster is invincible? Your destiny is certain?" he asked, having said what he'd said. It was obviously more rhetorical. "Things are what you believe them to be. I believe that I'm powerful, invincible even. I believe that you have locked away inside you the power to beat this thing..." he stated. This is where he became serious. "But fear can control, and limit even the most powerful," he said, trying to teach her in his on cryptic way. This was a lesson she had to learn, not be taught. He could only place her on the right path. His tail uncurled from hers for a second. "So. Two questions you need to answer, and not for my sake. What do you believe? And what do you believe in?" he asked, wanting her response. He fell silent and awaited a response. His smile was not where it usually was. For this moment, like very few ones before it, his face held a serious look, not one of laughter. He cared about her, but... Her answers would show the future they could have.

Rin's expression softened at his reasoning, at his ability to throw her words back at her, his ability to give her hope in her own fate that now was uncertain. He was right, wonderland didn't know destiny, it didn't know reason or order. What happened to her was based more on luck, not on her actions alone. Her smile slowly returned at his cockyness. Even though it was infuriating, she also found it to be a little sexy. He had so much confidence in himself...
However, that didn't stop her from continuing to fear herself, to fear her future. She wanted to answer "I believe that there must be something we can do to fight it" and "I believe in you." but, she couldn't come to say it. Rin thought logically about this subject. She wasn't nearly as mad as Cheshire, and often, she found herself swimming in her own logic so that she became afraid of almost anything. And she hated it. She hated being afraid.
"I... I believe that this thing is bigger than the both of us... And I believe in the fact that Wonderland will throw my logic out the window, and something will happen. But I also believe in the fact that my death could save this land..." Her voice was full of sorrow, of defeat. She had allowed the monster to live and thrive within her for so long, it was impossible for her to see herself without it. To live beyond 'it'.
Fighting back tears, she leaned her head down, resting her forehead against his. "I'm sorry, Cheshire."

The Baron calmed himself down, and glanced up, at the sky. The clouds seemed to roll on by, flowing through the air with inexplicable freedom. Such freedom could only be envied. The Baron himself was one of these individuals, a free man, a cloud, passing on by, unnoticed by the world below. 'Never mind...I can't stay here...' he said absentmindedly to the King and Josh. 'You'd better come with me, Josh. If Cheshire throws another temper-tantrum, you and Jesta will surely be the first ones to know.' he said.
He stood up, and stretched his body out, almost like a cat. He felt the sun's warmth creep over his skin like a blanket, and savored it's cheery embrace for a moment. Suddenly, he felt nauseous and collapsed, entering another vision. He saw the Cheshire Cat with another cat, a woman, he concluded, noticing the bikini adorned upon her almost perfect body. He saw them intertwined, kissing, and saw a glimmer of bravery and courage flash in Cheshire's eyes. He saw Cheshire run his hand down the cat-woman's back, and start to rub her fur, up and down, with tender and gentle affection. He emerged from the trance, and stood straight up. His visions only took a few seconds or more to occur, but sometimes, in the trance, it took hours, and once, days.
Baron closed his eyes and turned towards the sun. 'The sun is in the north, so is the castle. If he decides to follow us,' he said to Josh, gesturing at the King 'We can drop him off there. Anyway, I need to pick up something from the Castle., that may help in getting something I need.' he said.
((Hope that makes an improvement to my literacy skills. I'm going to introduce his twin brothers soon, if their profiles get accpeted by Ninja.

Josh shrugged, "sure why not" he cartwheeled in small circles for a while, his hat clutched in one hand, before standing, serious "Though i must warn you, I will be going on my own search too soon, I must find Jesta" after stating this fact he grinned again, back to his carefree self.
He ran over to the King, "so kingy, your maj, are you coming with us to return to you castle? or do you have enough confidence in your prowess as a ruler that noone will try to hurt you on your journey?" he laughed, looking around again, "you will not have to cross the ruins at least, think of that as a blessing!"
Jesta walked deeper into the glimmering flower groves, expecting Ace to follow, although she didn't really mind if he did or not, the flowers held her attention now.
She began to hum along to the song around her, before singing too once she realised the words, her quite speaking voice was unrecognisable now, as a clear and perfect sound came from her throat, she stroked the stems of flowers as she passed them, nearing the centre of the garden
"Come on!" said Alice suddenly, "let's go exploring, this forest looks to go on forever," she laughed at the impossibility of what she had said, her personality changing again
and my twins are still awaiting replies..

Cheshire just held her in silence, his left arm still around to her back, his right hand still on her side. "If that is what you believe," he said softly, his eyes shut. He hated that she believed such a tragic thing, but he understood why. After so long of being called something, of 'knowing' something as truth... denying that thing was hard. Much like, if a woman was told she was ugly and fat by everyone around her, after awhile, she would begin to believe it as truth and then would always see herself in that twisted way. Words were deep things, and could leave deep wounds. He opened his eyes, a determination in them. He was still himself, this little love scene was splendid, but he didn't change. He smiled at her, playfully almost. "Well then. Let me be your knight in black armor," he toyed with the usual heroic image. "Just because you believe something, doesn't mean we can't change your beliefs," he stated, confident as ever in his abilities. "I may believe in apples as a good fruit and then find information that makes me change that opinion to say that oranges are a good fruit," he stated his own logic. He just layed there and smiled at her. "I need two things from you though. A want to change that belief," he said the first one, waiting for her response.

He was stubborn, unnaturally so. It appeared that Cheshire wasn't going to give up on Rin without a fight, and honestly, Rin felt glad for it. She was happy that someone was willing to fight for her, to believe in her when she herself couldn't even muster the courage. However, it only made her heart ache further. She didn't think that anything could change about her situation, she figured that Cheshire was overestimating himself and underestimating the creature building inside of her.
"Cheshire... I just..." Rin started, but found herself at a slight loss for words. She didn't know how to speak with him, and she didn't know if she could even comply to his two simple requests. She had convinced herself of her fate a long time ago, came to face death and accept it as her future, but now, suddenly, things were different, and it felt like she had just leaped to how she had been before. Scared, weak, afraid of her own future, with a strong will to continue living. Rin didn't have a reason to live before, except for her own desire, but now...
"You, are arrogant. You're cocky, bull-headed, and over-confident. Changing my belief in my own future wont change the fact that this thing, this monster, could destroy you and Wonderland. You can't do this alone, and I can't help you... I'm the enemy after all." Rin said almost jokingly. Leaning down, she planted a soft kiss onto his lips, unable to stop herself. It felt so wonderful, so new, that she wondered if she would even be able to let him get up off of the ground after all of this.
After a few moments, she pulled back, her tail swaying lightly back and forth. It was obvious that she was happy with him, happy to be so close to someone, and Rin thought that perhaps that happiness might just be worth fighting for.
"But... If you think that there's a way to fight this, then I have no choice but to trust you. I want to believe I have a chance to fight this thing."

Cheshire just beamed at this reply. Including the second kiss, he wasn't minding those at all. Her happiness with him was astoundingly gratifying. "Good," he replied. "As for the second request. I ask you to accept me as your boyfriend," he added. He wanted her to say 'yes' and was almost positive of the response, but inside he feared the worst. Hoping for the best and expecting the worst, were always the safest way to go through things.

Rin's ears perked at the second request, followed by a short giggle as her tail flicked back and forth. He sounded like a teenager asking his sweetheart to prom, and it made him all the more adorable. The infamous and wise Cheshire Cat asking Rin to accept him as her 'boyfriend'. With another giggle, Rin leaned down, kissing him once more.
Her answer was obvious.

Cheshire, feeling the kiss, smiled. He couldn't believe it. The Cheshire and Cursed Cat, dating. He wondered how everyone would take the news. He personally loved it, and her for that case. After releasing the kiss he nodded to her. This was all so perfect, words escaped him. He then looked down her body, then back up. "Will I be able to be free today, or is the slavemaster very strict on the whereabouts of their slave?" he asked, slightly seductively, slightly playfully, slightly jokingly. His usual whimfullness. His tail wrapped around her and then unwrapped continuosly, playfully.

Rin grinned at his statement, her lips leaving his to travel over to his ear "You're mine today..." she purred. Giggling softly, she ran her lips down to his neck, biting softly at his skin as her hands ran along his chest. Needless to say, this sort of behavior was making Rin a little antsy, her tail flicking back and forth. Feeling his tail wrap and unwrap from her body, Rin squirmed lightly, finding the sensation making her ticklish.

Cheshire began to breathe slightly heavier as he felt her bite and feel down his light shirtted chest. It was exciting, intense, and not at all what he wanted to happen just yet, but for now he let it just happen as his tail, began to stroke down her backside, along the back bone, going back up after hitting the bottom of her bikini.

Rin heard his breathing change, a sly grin curcling along her lips as she slowly started to level the playing field. For a while now, Cheshire was toying with her, controlling her, but slowly, it felt like she was the Cursed One again.
"What's wrong Cheshire?" she purred in his ear, laughing softly as her body suddenly started to sink into his. In a plume of darkness, she sunk through him and through the ground, leaving his body with a slight chill. Reappearing a few feet away, she laid atop a branch, the bikini gone and replaced with her normal clothes. With a wink, she wrapped her tail around the branch "Let's play, darling." she purred before she rolled off of the branch, disappearing into the ground.
On the other side of the clearing, the sound of rustling foliage became apparent. Rin was running, her laugh echoing in the darkness.
She needed to vent her energy elsewhere, before she got herself too far into things, and right now, she felt like playing tag.

'You don't need to warn me, Josh, I already know you want to find your sister, it's quite obvious. In fact, I was meaning to, after we drop off his Majesty at the Castle, we'll go find Jesta as well.' he said. He stared over to the lake, it's rippling surface glimmering in the midday sun. 'And, I apologize, your majesty, but we will have to travel through the ruins. But, I assure you, no harm will come to pass on you.' he said to the King.

Cheshire felt the chill, then saw her teleport around and run off. He could hear her laugh. He chuckled himself a bit. He had a bi-polar girlfriend. No surprise there. He hopped up and ran after his feminine feline friend. Girlfriend he corrected himself happily. He ran behind her, chasing her, knowing he could pull off her every move, long as he anticipated it. He just hoped she didn't do something like... disappear through a tree at the last second, so he ran into it, following her.
