"Mmh." Roxanne grunted in reply. A while? Warp was going to the kitchen to get them something to eat. Had they been in there talking the entire time?

Roxanne paused for another moment, staring at the closed kitchen door. "Alright, then. Why don't I just slip inside and check on them. It has been...quite a while after all." Roxanne said gently, then slipped through the floor through her own shadow. Whatever "talk" they were having behind closed doors...it might be best to make sure her other half hadn't killed Warp.
When Roxy resurfaced, she was in the middle of the kitchen. She didn't bother to be discreet. She wanted to know what the problem really was. If Sapphire was talking to Warp about her younger siblings current condition, it would be more of an in and out thing.
Warp was practically leaning back across the table, with Sapphire leaning in, right in his face. She did not look happy, and she had this clear 'I just got done with a long lecture' posture about her.
Warp blinked and looked over at Roxanne as she made her appearance. Relief washed over his face, and quite suddenly, he was away from the table and practically hiding behind her. "Ohthankgod." he let out in one breath.
Roxanne looked back at him, then over at her double. "Alright...you don't usually scare full grown men half to death that aren't thugs. So...what's this really about? If it's really about the kids, then it shouldn't take this much to get him to change them back."
Misty straightened her stance and crossed her arms. "It's...mostly that. You should know exactly why I have a problem with them being aged. Add that with the fact that I have even less control of who might come after them in this world than I did ours?"
"And she may or may not have a new stalker." Warp added.
"Oh? You're meaning besides the Dinashi boy?" Roxanne asked.
Misty frowned and looked away.

In a flash of light, Lucas, his mother Sandra, and his teammate Alex all appeared on the ground floor of the Sanctum. Sandra, for her part, looked around and smiled.
"Ahh... I always wondered what the inside of this place looked like..." she said happily.

Once they were in the building, Alex looked around and immediately relaxed. That was just...uncomfortable. The whole 'hello mother who probably never remembered I existed' thing....that was uncomfortable.
With a sigh, she looked around the room to see where anyone was at. She spotted the two girls she didn't recognize earlier standing by the door to what she thought was the kitchen.
After a second look, her eyes widened. "Oh." she said quietly to herself. Those were...those were the twins. Much older twins. No wonder Sapphire was giving Warp a lecture.

A moment later, with a soft but pervasive glow of gold-white light, Black Cat appeared in the living room. Without pausing to say hello to anyone, she immediately set off towards the bath she had used earlier. Not that she planned to take a bath--more like a scalding hot shower that would last until she couldn't imagine the feel of metal restraints on her arms anymore, and (more importantly) couldn't picture the gleam in that a*****e scientists eyes. LONG shower.

talma looked around as she started to pace they had been in there a long time. i hope saph didn't kill warp while she was in there.

Alex took a quick look back at Paragon and his mother as she started walking towards the two red-heads. "Yeah...make yourselves at home. Just don't touch anything." she said, then moved over towards the twins.
"Hey." Alex said as she approached the two. "The...twins, right? Why are you two...older?"

"one word 'warp'" madalyn said as she looked at alex. "Awhile back when he had that spas attack he hit me and turned me older, and i liked it. So i asked him to turn talma older too."

"Oh." Alex replied with a small wince. She knew exactly what she was talking about when she said "spas attack". Warp was practically dying on the street and his powers were going nuts. It weakened her, and turned Batman into a child for a short time.
"So...you got caught in that too? Oh, wait...is that why it looked like Misty was ripping him a new one?" she asked. That whole lecture face certainly made sense now.
