Damian shook his head with a knowing grimace. The girls would be crying hysterically by the end of the night, that much he knew.
Lorey slipped in between the couch and Richard, tucking her feet underneath her and grabbing a chip covered in cool salsa.
"I don't know why I'm still hungry... it's like my appetite suddenly kicked in after all this time."
She loved the taste of the snacks, and knew that she probably shouldn't have been eating that late, but did anyway.

"Ok so everyone ready? How bout you love?" Raquel asked, looking up at Damian with a girlish smile. SHe was thuroughly enjoying herself. On rare occasions she would meet with 'friend' to sneak into a movie but that was rarely done since security tightened up so much. But just this innocent little movie night made her so happy.

Damian crashed onto the loveseat with a personal bowl of buttered popcorn. Everyone else had their own, so he was content having his own private little stash.
"Let the movie and crying commence!" And with a wave of the remote, it did.
Lorey snuggled up to Richard, and tried to keep her eyes open. The food was beginning to give her a second wind, especially the more sugary things.

Raquel snuggled up with Damian on the love seat, bringing a throw blanket to cover them up.
As the movie played out, things were calm at first. On particularly sweet moments, she would take Damian's hand in her's gently, giving it a squeeze as she smiled. She liked to put herself nto the movies she watched. So it was natural as she thought of Damian as Noah, and herself playing Allie. It seemed to make the movie mean more to her that way. She soon learned it may not have been the best idea.
As the movie went on, she found herself tearing up quite a bit but no more. But towards the end, she was in hysterics, jsut trying not to sob loudly.
Even Richard who had his arm about Lorey the entire time swatted at his watery eyes, muttering something about allergies.

Lorey was joining in Raquel's hysterics, only she was sniffling a bit more loudly. As the movie ended along with the suffering, Lorey let out a big sob right into her tissue.
"Th-that's so terrible and beautiful at the same time..."
Damian's jaw was firmly set in place. If he spoke, he knew his voice would be choked up. Being the man, though, he felt he couldn't cry at a chick flick. Lorey obviously felt differently.
"W-why the hell did we watch something like that again?"

Raquel felt she was soaking Damian's shirt, after burying her face in it for so long crying. "B-because we're daft idiots, s-seriosly who would want to feel this horrible!?" She cried, though thought about it for a moment. "Want to watch it again?" She offered, witha teary smile, trying to make someone smile.
She succeeded with Richard who burst out into a hardy laugh, most likely trying to excuse the little bit of tears that were escaping. He was still laughing as he rubbed Lorey's back for comfort, as Raquel laughed too, trying to make herself stop the sobbing.

"No I don't want to watch it again!" Lorey said, half laughing and half sobbing. She used Richard like a giant teddy bear as she calmed herself down. It took a few minutes, but she succeeded and even managed to eat another tortilla chip.
"Ugh, now I'm exhausted. Again. Are we planning on watching another movie?" She was up for another, but for something happier. And she realized didn't have work the next day, so everything was alright on her end.
Damian patted Raquel awkwardly on the back. She had such real things to cry over, so why was the movie bothering her? Besides the fact that it was heartbreaking.
"There's a kid's movie called Finding Nemo... we could always watch that and feel chipper once more."

Raquel sniffled a little, calming down as she reached for another tissue, and a drink. "That...sounds lovely..." she smiled, tying toget her last sobby breaths out of her.
Richard nodded, slowly letting up on his laughing. "Yes, anything but this please..." he begged, reaching for his own drink and a little handful of popcorn.

"Then I decree it to be so!"
A flick of the remote, and soon they were greeted with a lovely seascape, and the story all about fish.
Lorey conked right out after about half an hour. It wasn't that she didn't want to see the ending, but she was just tired out from her crying. Richard was once more subjected to being used as a pillow, though Lorey was sure he wouldn't mind at all as she dreamed away of green places, and a home just for them...

Raquel was somewhat sleepy. More like just a bit drained from the crying, since they had essentially slept all day. She was more mesmerized by all the colors and details in the movie. "I dont care what they say, the people form earth were pretty hgih tech for what they had, this is jsut beautiful...it reminds me of altru....only under the goregeous water..." She had remarked as the movie came towards the ending scene.
Richard actually really enjoyed this one, even though it was making him very tired. He had hoped though for some reason that no one would make fun of him for sharing such a creepily close accent as the seagull and other human characters in the movie, that he had sometimes.
When it finally was over, he yawned a litle, though didn't stress for fear of waking Lorey. "Well...that was quite an idea Damian...THanks for that." HE said with an appreciative nod as he gnetly scooped Lorey up. "But I should get Lorey to bed..." He smiled, looking down at her.

"She could sleep through a bomb, I swear," Damian said, quite tempted to poke Lorey's face with something just to see if she woke up. "But good night. Mate."
He laughed, wondering where he exactly got his accent from sometimes.
Raquel seemed very happy with everything, though, and didn't want to spoil her mood by going off on a teasing rant on Richard.

Richard narrowed his eyes. "Ha Ha mate," He said sarcastically, though realized he said mate unconsciously. "damn...any way, you guys, please try to keep it down tonight or at least movie it to Damian's room I swear....some of us aren't as heavy sleepers as Lorey..." He sighed, though winked, taking off down the hall, whispering his goodnight over his shoulder.
He took Lorey to her room, gnetly placing her where she always looked so pretty...in her big fluffy blanketsand sheets. Just like sleeping beauty. HE smiled at this, leaning down to kiss her gently, before crawling into the dovers with her.
Raquel laughed, shaking her head as she rested it on Damian's shoulder. "you know Darling..." she began softly, nuzzling his arm. "What would you say...If i had a place we could go, that no popperazzi could find you, and no worries about being recognized by your peers?" She asked, looking up at him.

What sounded like a proposition soon sounded like a night out.
"Are you asking me out on a date?" His sly smile came back with the very thought of them actually doing things the traditional way instead of the insanity they were accustomed to. "You sound very tempting... And we're already dressed, so why not? Tell me where this place is."

"It's this bar down town. Actually really safe. I used to go down there saturday nights for the open mic nights....that and I could usually score free drinks..." She smiled. "There's always a drunk player wanting to score with a pretty girl. So we scroed free drinks...they scored squat." She winked, remembering her wild teen memories, not being carded because they had connections and short skirts. "but the point is, no one there is going to care that you're Damian Centurion...except me." She smiled.

Damian sat up from the chair and was ready to have a night on the town for a change. Have a few drinks, and hopefully take advantage of open mic night, if it was going on...
