Jack noticed the blackness of the baby. "I don't care. I'd rather have my baby back alive, no matter what the condition, than see her paraded in front of me," he told Serena.

Shadow laughed. "But can you handle a teenager that hates you and the world? Can you handle all the shadowly escapes? And the pain she'll cause you and your wife, even without trying! Can you handle that? Do you even know how to train her powers? Can you teach her the safety's to shadow delving? Or is she gonna just run circles around you?" he asked, badgering Jack. He was going to show Jack what he was up against. "What about Demons from the shadow realm? Ever fought one of those nasty creatures? Because I assure you, she'll bring them to the real world at least the first three times she dives into the shadows," he continued to warn Jack.

Jack, being barraded by questions, had no idea how to respond. The thoughts were overflowing his mind. He couldn't work at that speed.

Shadow took this moment while Jack was distracted as an oppurtunity. He grabbed Jack by the throat and lifted him off the ground. He took himself and Jack back to where Luna stood. "You will stay her," he said as his scythe materialized in his empty hand. He let the blade press against Jack's throat. "Or next time you'll be dead," he finished before he threw Jack into the wall and faded back into the shadows. He saw Serena in the shadow realm and began walking towards her. "I'm glad you're learning," he commented on her fade out.

Before he knew it, Jack was held by his throat, dangling in his and Luna's room. Luna was behind Shadow. He heard the words then fet the force as he was thrown into the wall. An indent was left as he flopped out, weak. He laid there, hopeless, confused, hurt, and for the most part, broken.

The clones began disappearing slowly. Their job was done.

Jack closed his eyes, thinking himself a dissappointment. "I tryed...." he whispered.

Shado enjoyed the kiss and then sat down. "Come, let us relax in what in the future shall be her realm as well," he said, talking gabout the child. "What did we name it again?" he asked, not great with names, but curious if they even named it.

Shadow nodded. "Ah," he added, thinking a weird Alice in Wonderland parody was there. Too many jokes... he thought to himself. "I love you," he said to the beauty before him.

Jack nodded. "Physically, yes," he answered. He had a large bruise on hi side, nd a small nick in his throat, but no major bleeding damage.

Mell apeared kneeling on top of a bookshelf in the room. She looked at Luna and Jack, then the baby. "Darn, I came back to the wrong time. Am I too late for the fight with the dark ones?" she jumped down and began to leave, "Sorry about the bad timing."

Serena stared at him." I love you, lets let her be innocent for a little while longer.."

Serena bowed slightly. "Thank you." She said. She held the baby over to Him.
" Play with her...."

Dominic nodded. "If you mean Raki, the alcoholic drink usually served with a glass of cold water, then yes. Would you like it on the rocks?" he asked grabbing a glass and preparing to create it quickly and efficently.

Al watched as Dominic quickly handled Jack's job. He wondered what made it so easy for them. How did they memorize all the alcoholic drinks? he wondered.

Shadow stared at her, then sighed knowing he couldn't get out of it. "Fine," he said as he took the baby and began to let a shadow rattle appear in his hand. He waved it in front of the baby, trying to entertain the little girl.
