Maya blushed and gave a small smile, "Well... I've never really found those stories frightening..."
"But I really want to know," she said turning to Ray and Moonreaper. "why didn't mother tell me anything about you?"

"Your Mother was very strong and very proud, being defeated by a Demon such as Moonreaper may have taken it's toll on her... to fail to protect someone you love.... I understand what this feels like, I would not want anyone to know about something or someone I could not protect, I would especially not tell my children of my failure's" he said now feeling rather bad over what he had said.
A bolt of lightning crashed through the walls of the room it began to move stright to Lady moving incredibly fast.
Moonreaper swiftly moved taking the shot directly on his chest leaving a small burn mark and hole that quickly began to repair itself and regenerate.
Crashing through the wall moving at incredible speak was a man with two large Black hawk like wings holding a large Axe in his hands.
"The Book Keeper will fall!" he shouted as he made his attempt.
Kai from his position threw 6 assorted blades ranging from Scy's to Swords each of which struck the man one on each wing one in each arm and one in each leg enough to force him back against the wall.
The humaniod with the hawk wings was forced back against the wall wailing in painas he struggled trying to get free bleed profusely. He dropped his weapon to the floor not being able to hold it any longer.
Kai moved closer to the man and began to twist his hand, as it twisted so did the weapons that held him turning and drawing more blood from his body, tearing his flesh and bone and causing him more agony.
Moonreaper moved to Lady, "My deepest apologies, had I have known he was so close I would've killed him before he reached the building" he said asking for forgiveness.

Maya shoke her head, "Not really... Mother never mentioned you at all. But Lachlan told me about you... And I kinda peeked into her dreams, but I got nothing... It's like she's hiding a secret.." she pouted then jumped as lightning crashed into the room.
She winced as the man cried out in pain, wanting to run up to him and help him, but knew she shouldn't. She felt Elsa stir, sensing the man's pain and purring in satisfaction.
