"That would explain, and yes he did have a strange way of doing things. Most likely using the shadow planes as a means of traveling unseen." Taking a drink after he filled it, "In old myths from a land south of mine there were tales of how the priests would create guards for there temples out of clay. To give life to their creation they would trap what they called Gen inside of them, or what would be refered to as a demon. Because I was ignorant to the nature of magic does not make me ignorant of knowlege. Moving along, what will you do now?"

Rivven sat and pondered that a moment. "Probably nothing different, actually. This has been facing me for a while, my choices are either stay here and keep ready for them, go get them which offers me surprise but so many disadvantages it doesn't make up for, or I keep running. I've already warned Morgan and Mrs. Kimache what might happen here if I stay and they decide to follow... and despite my expectations, I've been told only to stay. Really all I can do is keep on my toes and try to avoid letting them find anything to use against me." he stopped himself from looking up worriedly to Morgan again. "Hopefully, they'll grow tired of the expenses for one man quickly, and decide it's not worth wasting more effort on me. Otherwise, I might have to find away to kill the man ruling the state I was kept in. I doubt anyone higher up than himself would even know about me. I"m glad they haven't made it over the mountains though. I always had a hell of a time trying to kill the Erindans for them, but at least they kept the from progressing eastward past the lands they claim."

"That is all most facinating and all, but what pray tell sent them after you to begin with? People aren't hunted for nothing, and I'm sure they didn't single you out so they could have a bit of fun."

"Rivven?" she walked up closer to him, a full bottle she had fetched from behind the counter in one of her hands. "It's alright. He's not going to fight you. He came to Quin's house, he must have no idea where you are. And we can wait until he's gone..."

He gave Morgan a thankful, sympathetic look, and smiled. "I could, I can try to just hide out until they leave, but I do have to be ready incase they do find me. Don't worry over me, Morgan. Even if I have to fight, I'll be fine." he said, smiling and laying his hands over hers, and asking if she'd like him to pour her a glass too. "I'm not sure if assassin is the right word, considering we mostly were sent to kill large groups of people in the most efficient way possible rather than a single stealthily, but while I was under their command, I was one of the most prominent assassins in that state. But then, Richardo was another one highly regarded. Unless it's a matter of pride, or that they want me back to kill for them again, I don't know why they'd be after me." he said, looking back to Quintilius. "Why? I've been more worried about what I'm going to do while they're after me than why they are. This is going to sound ignorant of me, but how much help would it really be if I did know?"

"I get worried about you. I always worry that something will happen to you, and now I hear that what you warned us about it finally going to happen! But I think that Quin is right, you should put together why they care so much about coming after you, it seems odd that they come now." she took a sip of the beer.

"I can take care of myself. You told me not to worry about it only a few days ago. Love, I think you might be letting it get to you to much. Worry to one point is caution, after that it can be wasteful. Don't wear yourself out, you'll get me worrying about you too...And I don't think they're coming just now, one showed up over a week ago, and he sent message back. It probably took until now just for it to travel all that way." he smiled, sympayhetic to her worry, and stood, putting his hands gently on her hips and kissing her forehead. "You are probably right. But, short of asking them, how am I..." he trailed off, and looked over to Quintilius. "Without finding someway to slip the question in to them, I don't see how we'll find out."

"That didn't do to much to imporve my outlook on the situation," she shrugged, and tried to see what Quin's reaction would be to everything Rivven had said. Especially about the people visiting him before. "Look, I think I need to get a breather here. So most unusually, I am in fact leaving the bar for the night." she laughed a little and waved before she started towards the men's dorms.

Rivven stood and stretched. "I'll catch up with you in a little bit, love. I will see you soon." he said, smiling after her as she left, and taking one last drink before closing up the bottle and putting it away, taking his glass back, and cleaning up everything but Quin's glass and bottle. "Mr. Quintilius..." he said after a long moment of silence, scrubbing the inside of the cup clean, and setting it on a counter to dry. "First of all, I appreciate your help in this situation, it is most appreciated. Just, be careful not to overinvolve yourself. Richardo is at least as dangerous as he looks, no, I wouldn't want anyone, getting hurt for my sake. Now, there is one other thing I'd like to speak to you of briefly... another important, very different, seperate topic..." it there was no polite way to ask really. He might have to outright accuse the man if he wished to accomplish anything. It felt horrible right after he'd helped so much, put himself at risk likely as well, but it couldn't really be helped.

Pale used one arm (the other held her daughter) and was suprised to see that not only was Rivven actually at his post, but that he had company too! "Hey Rivven, how are you? Quin? Glad to see you out of your estate, never did have the chance to properly thank you for the party."

Rivven jumped, stopping dead from bringing the conversation up with Quintilius. Maybe another time. But then, what if it's not him?"I am doing fine Mrs.Kimache. I would assume you and the child are feeling well now also? It is good to see you looking a bit less weary than before." he said, finishing setting the cleaned dishes out to dry.

"I am doing better, although to be honest I'm still a bit shaky. It's not the first surgery I've had- but damn it was the hardest. Anyways! I've been good for the entire pregnancy, and now I was wondering if you'd be kind enough to get me a drink." she sat down and placed Illiana on her lap.

"So soon? Well, how should I know a thing about it. I'd just assumed you'd need to rest awhile after the birth before doing things like that, but I don't know a thing about it. Then again, you've already rested a while, haven't you?" he said, pouring her a glass of some of wine, guessing a type when she didn't specify, like most people didn't. He supposed he'd get used to that eventually.

((Ok, now that I've figured out how this whole guild wrks...I'm here.))

Illiana laughed and looked up at her mother, reaching for a strand of her hair.

((This'll be a late post, I know it.))

Handing Pale the glass he looked down at Illiana and smiled warmly. He would have been utterly mortified if anyone had fathomed that he'd take a moment of that time looking at the child to consider fondly the idea of children of his own. "Afraid I don't have much of anything here for you. Oh, are you hungry too? I can get you something to eat real quickly, if you'd like." he said, taking a step back and peering into the kitchen.
